Katryl follows the others. "Let's just make sure we keep moving. if like to not down down here." She keeps her eyes open for any sign of danger or a means to escape the rising water. (Perception: 17)
Traydark wades back, trying to keep the others between him and the oozes, then using his newly acquired black rod, it's purple eldritch symbols pulsating with power as he points it to the closest ooze, swiftly cursing it before unleashing a purple beam of eldritch crackling force against it.
One of the oozes dissolves into the floor from the attacks. The other three try to swipe with their pseudopods at the group but are too slow to hit them.
The noble drow keeps his distance to the disgusting creatures, then swiftly placing his hex on the closest ooze before unleashing another purple beam of eldritch crackling force against it.
Khessa also sticks to the strategy she suggested (even more so because it seems a winning strategy): she keeps distance grom the last ooze then tries to fry it.
The last ooze shrivels into a dirty lump on the floor and all is quiet again except for the quiet echo of running water somewhere. Going back into the square room you look to the passage on the right and in the light you all shed you see a narrow passage, where what looks like a mace, some coins and the remains of a drow floating in mid-air.
"Hmmm... I sure know less about drow than you do, Traydark," Khessa comments suspiciously "but I don't think their powers include floating in mid-air... There must be something strange at work here..."
The blonde arcane warrior steps back as a precaution, trying to figure out if there is some camouflaged support holding up the drow or maybe an invisible creature... which even if invisible, should move the water as it moves. She sends her Faithful Butler towards the drow, in the meantime, to try and push him away or to the side. Can the force move the body?
Katryl stands ready with her bow aimed towards the floating drow remains. "Could it be more of those creatures?" She hangs back, waiting to see the results of whatever Khessa is doing.
"Actually it is not uncommon for drow to master the magic of levitation." The noble drow comments quietly. "Judging by the state of this one I doubt they are still alive though." He adds taking a step back, hoping that Khessa's probing will give som clue to what they are looking at.
You begin to inspect the strange floating objects, only to be met wit some sort of gooey resistance, followed by a giggling sound in your minds, as pair of eyes swims around and looks in your direction. "Hey! That tickles! Oooh people! Wow! I'm Glabbagool! What's your name!" The gelatinous cube wiggles a bit happily.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"I am Traydark of House Duskryn."The noble drow states in an uncharacteristic polite tone. "And who are you Glabbagool and what are you doing here? And would you know how to get out of this place?"
Persuasion to establish friendly relations with the sentient gelatinous cube: 12 Another roll if help is provided: 11
"It can talk?" Katryl says, surprised. She lowers her bow a bit, though still keeps it at the ready. It does appear that this is yet another of those blob creatures they just fought off, much as she had suspected.

"Come on, people!" says Khessa "Oozes are like swarms - dangerous when near, but slow - just keep distance and range them!"
The blonde arcane warrior moves many strps back (30') and tries to blast one of the jellies with the magical fire she is si proud of.
