The travel through West Wall is your best bet, as a largely residential old district of the city, and appears to be relatively unscathed by the emergence of the demon lord. Shadowy figures dart about now and then, a few curious head watching your group as you scurry through the district, but between you all and Grin's guidance you're able to reach Tier Breche, at the bottom of wide stone stairs flanked by two giant jade spiders. You would know that the hour is nearly up as well as Grin pauses and looks at you. "Those guardians will see right through your disguises. We should change tactics to get you into the tower: either let Tradark and I bind you like prisoners and try to walk in that way, or I can try and make a distraction and let you make a run for it. Either way let's pick quickly before we're spotted and draw unwanted attention."
"I suggest the distraction" Khessa quickly proposes. "It's an option that doesn't require the time to tie up four of us, and gives us more leeway to act (or escape) if something goes wrong".
Grin nods gravely and then takes off running toward the wide stone stairs before launching a blast of arcane energy at the large jade spider, then at a couple of drow priestesses in the area and scampering about here and there. With the main threats momentarily distracted you have your shot to make a run for Sorcere.
(Everyone make a stealth check at advantage as you make for the wizard's tower)
Katryl reluctantly agreed to be disguised as a prisoner. "I'm familiar with disguise kits, if I had one." Clearly, despite agreeing, she does not seem pleased with the choice.
Grin is doing his best to make some noise and distraction, perhaps interestingly calling out Vizeran's name in an effort to draw the attention away from the rest of you. So you make a run for it, hoping the distraction is enough to keep particularly the jade spider's attention long enough to get out of range of its vision. Katryl is doing a fabulous job picking her way across the plaza, only to see the rest of you...not so much. You get halfway there when the spider suddenly whips around and begins charging your direction! At the same time you see a pair of female drow come running from Sorcere to intercept you as well, but as they get closer they look past you at the jade spider and order it to stand down. One looks at you all with an irritated glare though, "I didn't know Vizeran was working with such clumsy fools. Now hurry up inside and do what you need to do, before you draw the attention of the entire city!"They then loudly whisper the password again to bypass the ward spells temporarily and then turn back to the jade spider. It seems perhaps, these are likely two members of the Council of Spiders, holding the line for you to finish making your way to Sorcere.
"Neither did I know that his (and his allies') infiltration plans were so accurate and well-thought" Khessa whispers in reply, sarcastically raising an eyebrow. "You see? You never stop learning".
The blonde arcane warrior comes inside, in the meantime.
Katryl does a fairly poor job of masking her annoyance at the others lack of stealth. But she doesn't say anything as she accompanies the others inside.
The noble drow notices someone in the crowd, his hated mother, most likely on her way from Arach-Tinilith. He manages to not draw her attention but is distracted in the process and bumps into the human. His mind still on his famliy's betrayal he quietly makes his way inside Sorcere. Never having studied as a wizard, this was his first time in this place.
Horkas looks around once they are inside and says softly, "OK...now what? Did we get directions to Gromph's chambers? I know what he looks like, since I saw him in the library, but that won't be enough to get us where we need to be..."

The noble drow simply nods in concurrence with the human, looking expectantly on the guide to take care of the distraction.
