'If their leader is losing...' thinks Khessa, referring to the followers of the Deep Father '...maybe this will demoralize them completely!'
Using a formula that is becoming increasingly familiar to her, the blonde arcane warrior creates a bolt of fire out of thin air that reaches the large hide stretched out on cords between two support poles, setting Leemooggoogoon's idol on fire!
(OOC: The spell description states that : 'A flammable object hit by this spell ignites if it isn't being worn or carried'...)
The tall adventure then shouts in undercommon: "Followers of the Deep Father! Your false god is on fire! The priestess who convinced you to turn to him is giving in! Surrender while you have the chance, your cause is lost!"
(OOC: @DM: If to hasten Bloppblippodd's defeat we wanted to target her with ranged weapons or spells... could we do that? Or is she out of range or out of sight?)
(You can try, but there is a lot of activity going on. And I am waiting to double check that everyone has taken an action if they wanted to during round 2.)
(Oh, I was asking not only for myself... Buppido, for example, had still to act. I'll have him try to shot Bloppblippodd then)
(Round 2)
Hearing Khessa mention the disadvantage of Bloppblippodd, the priestess of the Deep Father, Buppido tries to evaluate if he can target her to hasten her defeat...
"I can try..." he mutters to himself "...there is a lot of activity going on, but I can try..."
The derro points his crossbow, takes aim...
"You can try what?" the blonde arcane warrior becomes curious.
"I can try to help you convince them that their leader is doomed!" boasts Buppido "Look at this shot!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ebzer is mainly in defense mode right now. If any enemy kuo-toa approach, he will swing his greataxe at them, but if they are otherwise engaged, he will hold his action for now.
Katryl watches the chaos around them. She calls out words in Ignan as she summons a flame into her hand using Produce Flame. Assuming she can identify one of the followers of the Deep Father, she will hurl the flame at them. (Spell Attack: 13 Damage: 7 fire)
Eldeth grabs her bow, firing at the same target as Katryl. (Longbow Attack: 9 Damage: 9 piercing)

A couple ropes begin to burn, but much of the altar is wet since it lies on the edge of the water!

Greataxe Attack: 9 Damage: 12
No one pressing hard at the moment, so defensive mode active!

You aim for one of the Deep Father's followers and hit as they are chanting in the nearby water! Eldeth's shot goes long though!
You start to notice a bunch of the kuo-toa out in the shallow waters are suddenly flailing about and being dragged under into a sea of blood! Frenzied waves begin to churn toward the shore including your direction! As it gets closer you can see dozens of ixitxachitl swarming the area, and then the priest of the Sea Mother connects with a fatal blow, and as the priestess falls she screams out, "Leemooggogoon!!!!!"
Another sound rises above the burbling cries of the kuo-toa. The dark surface of the water farther out bubbles and begins to foam. A thick, oily tentacle bursts forth, followed by another. Then two monstrous heads break the surface, both resembling hideous, angry baboons with wickedly curved tusks. Both heads are attached to a single torso, and the monster’s red eyes burn with bloodlust and madness. The creature rising from the Darklake must stand thirty feet tall or more, with water cascading down its back and shoulders. Upon reaching its full height, the great demon throws back both its heads and roars!
Everyone make a Wisdom saving throw!
All of the kuo-toa are stunned for the next 4 minutes, continually chanting "Leemooggoogon!" over and over.
Upon seeing the monstrosity rising from the waters, Khessa is forced to admit: "I have to say that I preferred it in its 'pile of carcasses' version, rather than live! Well... I can't tell what it is, but for how it looks, I'm afraid we can't beat it right now. We have to retreat. Come on, quick, all to the boats!"
The purple eyes of the noble drow goes wide as the massive demon emerges out of the Darklake. Almighty Demogorgon himself summoned to the Underdark, how could this be?
Ebzer WIS Save 8 ( assuming this is not an illusion or a charm or paralysis)
Ebzer's jaw drops as the gigantic demon rises from the lake. "The... boats??" he shouts. "We dinnae want to get in the water right now, lassie. Best head the other way! To the tunnels!"
Stepping out of the swarm of spiders closely followed by Sarith, the noble drow turns to quickly survey the scene out at the Darklake. "I'm afraid I would have to agree with the duergar Khessa, I would have preferred taking that boat and maybe we can return for it later, but for now I think we must simply run for safety back into the tunnels until Leemooggogoon is done devouring the Kuo-Toa and obliterating the village." He says quickly, ready to speed his way to the tunnels.

Ebzer's jaw drops as the gigantic demon rises from the lake. "The... boats??" he shouts. "We dinnae want to get in the water right now, lassie. Best head the other way! To the tunnels!"
Ebzer is suddenly gripped with mortal fear at the sight of the demon lord!
(Under the frightened condition for the next 3 minutes AND now at madness level 1)
Khessa notices the look of mad terror that his friend duergar addresses to the approaching monstrosity and thinks: 'Damn it! I was hoping to escape with the boat before Mr Lemon-Demon reaches us… but Ebzer is terrified, he will never come that way!'
"So be it!" the blonde arcane warrior agrees "Then back to the tunnel we came from!" and urges all to run without wasting time.
Along the way, the tall adventurer checks that none of her companions are left behind (the terrified ones have no problems following, right? We're going the opposite way from the monster! Anyway, if they try to stop, Khessa drags them along) and also exhorts all followers of the Sea Mother (not the ones of Mr Lemon-Demon) she passes by to follow her or, at least, to flee: "Run away! It is not a god who comes to be worshipped... but a monster that comes to feed! Don't just stand there!"

You are all currently at the top middle of the map here. A short ways below you is the Sea Mother's shrine. Each square is 10 feet.
