Since Silas seems still unable to free himself, Khessa, estimated the distance, tells to herself: "It's official, I must have gone mad".
Then the tall adventurer runs under the point where the Tabaxi cleric is struggling, lights a torch, which she then holds between her teeth, throws up her rope making it stick into the webs, then climbs up to help.
While she climbs, Khessa makes sure to stay under the webs so that the drow, in the unlikely event that they deem her more dangerous than the demons, cannot target her.
Once she reaches Silas, the blonde warrior holds onto the rope with one hand, takes the torch with the other and burns the web strands that hold the victim still. And she helps him to hang on to the rope and go down with her.
By the way, if the Tabaxi gets to free himself before the tall adventurer reaches him, he can simply climb down the rope, without need to move or dive... and if she sees him do so Khessa, of course, stops climbing and descends as well.
When Khessa arrives at the web, Silas says, "Excellent! Help me free the twins!"
Well, first things first... I await confirmation from the DM that all goes that smooth (I'd like - but you know DMs... rarely all goes smooth with them! 😉)
Seeing the drow launching bolts of energy towards the spiders and Khessa climbing back up towards Silas, Katryl grabs her short bow and knocks an arrow. If she can get a shot at one of the giant spiders she will take it. (Short Bow Attack: 16 Damage: 10 piercing)
"We're rescuing the twins now?" she calls up towards the woman. "What happened to leaving behind those who endangered the plan?"
..."We're rescuing the twins now?" she calls up towards the woman. "What happened to leaving behind those who endangered the plan?"
"The fact that you are willing to follow something agreed between all of us is admirable Katryl" Khessa smiles at her. "Unfortunately, you are the only one who possesses this virtue. The rest of us apparently like the strategy 'everyone as they please' more. With the results that are there for all to see. So, apparently, it is either we run away the two of us alone, or we have to try to drag that stupid cat with us in some way, so that we all can finally get moving. I'm trying to go get him".
"And, well, all in all," tries to joke the blonde warrior, winking at her "the plan has already succeeded... We could escape any time we want. You all down here, in particular will be in a position to do so at any moment, if things get bad. Silas is by now endangering only my life (as well as his own, obviously)".
You throw the rope with a mighty swing and watch it go flying up...about 20ft before it comes flopping back down on the ground. Just as you begin to reconsider your options even as a few spiders get skittish from the couple of attacks from below Silas, you feel a heavy presence fall next to you. Looking over it's a very bloody form of Ront."I'll be damned if they get any more of you today!"He half speaks half whispers with blood streaming down his face and arms."It is too late for me. Not...a coward..."With whatever strength he has left he helps pry you free of the webs before collapsing back and expiring next to you.
You can see the waterfall and pool isn't too far away, just an annoying climb through the webs to get there. Everyone else on the floor who can see this, sees Silas being pushed and pulled free but you can't hear what they are saying.
Down below by the shore, Traydark is impatiently waiting to leave before the demons and the drow turn their attention to the few still living escapees scattered through the vast cavern.
'Well, that's it...' Khessa thinks, putting the rope back in her backpack and returning to Traydark 'Now Silas will dive and we can finally leave this place. Obviously he won't linger on those cursed cobwebs any longer... by now, those who had fallen there before him could only be alive if the drow had bred vegetarian spiders...'
"I was just doing what made the most sense for me," Katryl says with a grin. "You're the one with the speeches." She continues to hold her Shortbow ready if needed.
The noble drow glances over at Katryl and allows himself a brief smile. That one seemed sensible enough to be counted upon when they delved deeper into the underdark.
Since there's a battle going on between drow and demons up there... and Khessa still desperately needs equipment, the blonde warrior, while she waits for Silas to arrive, see if any drow guards have died and fallen below, to the ground. If so, the tall adventurer tries to check if she is able to wear the armor or at least if the guard's weapons are still intact and usable.
Silas lays a hand on Ront's shoulder and says, "Thank you, my friend. You died bravely." Turning to the twins, he attempts to see if they are still alive.
Khessa unfortunately nothing of worth to you has fallen down in the area...
'No usable weapon fell from the battle above... and no armored body either' realizes Khessa, checking yet another time, but to no avail 'Guess I'll have to fight my next few battles almost nacked and doing my best to cut throats with this...' she looks pityingly at the scimitar she managed to recover, noting once again how much less impressive this seems than the greatsword or maul she used to wield '...this toothpick! Well, so be it. I just hope my next enemies will all be convinced pacifists, who refuse to strike back on principle... Hey!' the blonde warrior starts to worry again for the fate of the tabaxi cleric 'Silas still has to dive... What he's looking at so intently? I hope he is not spotting other troubles...'
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
While waiting for Silas to join them, Traydark glances around to see if he can spot any others apart from Katryl, Ebzer and Khessa that made it down. Perception if needed: 17
Traydark is surprised to see Buppido survive as he remembers the derro charging off against the drow, but he is actually also a bit disappointed to not see Jimjar among those who made it down, although it would seem at least he would not have to make good on his lost bet with the svirfneblin. He motions for them all to make it for the western tunnel.

Silas you see the Twins being wrapped up in silk and tied down to the rest of the webs. It is safe to assume they are no longer alive.

The other prisoners have managed to make it down, none the worse for the wear: Sarith, Eldeth, Buppido, Shuushar, and Stool.
