In the chaos, Maisor looks over to see his party moving hastily toward the kitchen. Knowing the only means of escape from there is the delivery trap door, he slides out the front door.
Stealth: 21
He runs down and around the tree to meet those descending the rope.
OOC: If any fall while he is down there (he wouldn't be fast enough to get there before Riverwind falls), he can try to catch them. Athletics: 17
Teric slinks into the kitchen and looks at the hole in the floor and the well worn rope disappearing into it.
Given all the other circumstances, he is surprised by the sense of dread that immediately washes over him. Exiting the Inn via this rope was something that was "no big deal" once they reached their teenage years, but not for Teric. He had always lacked the upper body strength to do it properly. The one time he had been goaded into trying it he had only made it half way before losing his grip and crashing, miraculously, into a hay filled cart below. He looked down at his hands remembering the burns that had taken almost a week to heal.
Teric stands at the edge helping each member into the hole in turn, delaying the inevitable, a troubled look on his face.
[assuming nothing interrupts and everyone else makes their way down.]
Finally, closing his eyes and wiping the sweat from his nervous hands, he grabs the rope and swings down. He immediately maneuvers his legs to grip the rope with his feet, to avoid supporting his entire weight with his arms, beginning a careful climb down.
[Assuming Athletics is the proper roll. If it's straight Strength, subtract two from the result below]
Athletics: 5

Killian is strong enough to help someone. If he sees some of his friends struggling he will do as Riverwind and take damage to slide down and help them.
Demek comes up behind as he sees Killian's bearded face dissapear down through the hatch. He grabs the rope and looks back for his friends motioning for them to hurry, then slides down the rope.
Relieved to see Maisor slipping away through the front door, Breenie made her way to the kitchen with the others, but she kept her pouch of ball bearings clutched tightly in one hand, like a good luck charm. She hung back as the others passed through the kitchen door, keeping an eye on the goblins in case they spotted the party’s escape attempt.
And then the elf started shouting. Breenie’s throat nearly closed in panic.
No chance they won’t see us now.
“Lorival! Hurry!” Breenie hissed at her friend, who had yet to go down the rope. Shaking with a combination of adrenaline and fury, Breenie scattered a double handful of ball bearings between the kitchen door and the goblins, hoping to slow the goblins when they inevitably chased the elf in.
Breenie followed the rest of her friends into the kitchen and started down the rope.
Breenie is careful to scatter the ball bearings away from wherever Lorival’s path to the kitchen is.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The scene in the tavern was dissolving into chaos. Nothing left now but the rope in the back.
Oh shit, not the rope. Books and bandages don't make a very good rope climber.
Well a fall is probably better than a sword in the guts. The Elf is going berserk in the common room, Breenie is looking worried. With a deep breath she grabbed the rope and hoped for the best.
"Where to now? We could go hide in my house but I don't think I want to bring the High Seeker's guards on my dad. Maybe the Forge it should be empty at this hour?" Killian tells everyone once they have gathered.
He unslings his bow and gets ready to fire in case a goblin pokes his head out of the exit.
As everyone lands on the ground. Goldmoon leans over Riverwind and she moves the staff over the bleeding Plainsman. His wounds and anyone else wounds from falling are healed. As the staff does this it gives off a soft blue light.

Up ahead of you about 25 feet in the dark you hear goblins. The road in and out Solace is right in front of you. If you head into Solace you will find Killian's house or Maisor's house.
You each notice the healing magic of the staff. Goldmoon looks up and says “This why we are being sought. This staff has a power that has not been scene in over 300 years. We are on way to Haven to see the Seekers about it. Will you help us reach that destination?”
The road leading into Solace goes north to Haven. Meanwhile where will all go? Pick a direction and let me know.

In elvish I yell taunts at the hobgoblins and goblins "Hey fatty! how about some potato's!"
I take the closest dish possible and throw it at the High Seeker like a Frisbee: Attack: 6 Damage: 4
I then quickly back up my way to the rope and guard w/bow drawn prepared for the first enemy to show his face.
If available grab the rope and slide down Athletics check: 16
