As the group moves down the road the valley is silent except for the squeaky noise that is coming down from the road ahead.
//because of all the good rolls the group moves rather faster and safely through the valley.
As the sun begins to set the squeaky sound of cart becomes more apparent. Those that have scouted ahead can account for 6 Clerics of the Seekers from Haven pulling a wagon with something in it. Night is falling and the Clerics are moving slowly.
Riverwind seeing the Clerics whispers to Goldmoon in their native tongue. Goldmoon looks at the group which shrouded in the woods are that moment. “Can we approach these Clerics from Haven?” She asks

"Not sure this is a good idea, these people could be looking for the staff too." Killian says, hands already on his sword's pommel.
"If you really want to talk to them let's at least take precautions, half of us hidden and the other half ready." he adds seeing that Goldmoon seems very intent on talking to the clerics.
"Lorival go hide in the woods, make the most of your magic if we need it."
Teric nods to Killian. "I'll come with group going out on the road. I look fairly non-threatening, and being at range if anything goes down does me no favors."
Teric will leave his weapon sheathed.

Lorival nods, "Sure thing Killian. I'll have a couple of surprises for our friends turn out not to be friends."She gives the group a wink and moves up the road doing her best to stay hidden quiet and keep pace with the others meeting the clerics.

Breenie keeps to the trees, as she has been, and continues to trail the group. Now, though, she splits her attention between watching behind the group for any unwanted surprises and keeping an eye on their approach to the group of clerics.

The White robed Cleric steps up more and says "We are traveling back from the north. There are some wounded that we have in the cart we helping them." 17 (Performance check). "What brings you to this road?" Before Riverwind can say anything Goldmoon cuts in. "We where going to Haven to seek your order. The road lead myself and my subject." The chief there claimed to be a High Seeker speaking from your group! I demand to know if this true!"
The white Robed Cleric whose face is covered sees Killian and then speaks to Goldmoon. “ You ask questions in bad faith. Here we are and your companion there is being untrue” He points a Killian.

Teric raises a hand in a placating gesture, and in a non-threatening manner draws his short sword from his back and sets it on the ground.
"No need for tension my friend." He begins to walk slowly forward. Speaking load enough he knows those hiding in the woods are sure to hear also. "We all have good reason to be cautious with those we meet on the roads these days." Stopping in front of the main speaker, Teric extends a hand for a handshake. Reaching into a pocket Teclis pulls out a rag with blood on it. The fabric is exactly the same as the cleric speaking. Remembering a pile dead bodies he seen on the road...eyes wide in understanding he screams from his hiding spot "Teric no!"
Maisor hears the Elf's warning and immediately contorts his hand in an intricate gesture. A 5 foot by 5 foot by 1 inch stone wall appears between Teric and the cleric.
Crouching on the side of the road, just a little ways back into the trees Lorival watched the group on the road approach the clerics and their strange cart. She was glad to have Breeinie here with her. She didn't know if she could handle everything that was going on if she had been all by herself.
She watches as Goldmoon addresses them like naughty children, then observes Killian's hand fall to the pommel of his sword.
"Oh dear this is not going at all well Breenie," she hisses quietly to her friend.
Then the cleric returns hard words and Teric moves forward to head off the growing aggression hand out big smile on his face.
Teclis' scream cuts through the tranquil wooded air, Teric no!
Lorival looks at Breenie, "What the..." She starts to get up so she can run to their aid if need be.
