Kuori, being a head taller than most of the party pays off as you cast your javelin, the slender missile hurtling over the shoulders of your allies and plunging into the vulture's side, seriously wounding it.
Erdan, speaking a word of power you send a fire bolt hurtling toward the oncoming vulture. The giant bird's movement, erratic after being knocked off course by your previous spell, throws you off however and the spell misses, eventually dissipating in the empty air. You sprint forward as quickly as you can in a crouch on the swaying platform, each step threatening to send you crashing to water below, with only the handrail ropes for safety. About sixty feet of bridge remain between you and the top of the Thar wall ahead.
Aio, below you the party is engaged in battle with a wounded and now enraged giant vulture. A javelin juts from its side and several of its feathers are frozen solid, and it now appears maddened with rage. Overhead, out of sight of the rest of the party, you see a second winged carrion eater preparing to dive on the party, this time without the benefit of Erdan's illusion as a distraction. What do you do?
Valen, your first spell failed but you have now recovered equilibrium. Ahead, Erdan is running down the bridge, with Dahme'dre looking ready to follow as soon as she regains her footing. Behind you, Kuori has just launched her javelin into the vulture's side. What do you do?
"Good shot," Valeb calls to Kuori, "Keep moving, victory is as much about escape now." He take a few stepa while shouting a quick prayer for divine might. His sword directs a flash of light which threatens to sear the giant bird before he continues across the bridge.

Erdan, running forward you find yourself inches away from a blood-crazed mass of wounds and feathers as the giant vulture before you lurches toward you, talons outstretched. At the last possible moment, a searing flame erupts all over its body in answer to Valen's shouted prayer. Unable to dodge on the narrow bridge and clumsy when not in the air, the vulture screams as it is burned alive, the last remnants of life seared from its bones.
Meanwhile, above, Aio, you beat your wings furiously to intercept the diving vulture. Your Auran words fall on deaf ears, the creature ignoring them or perhaps simply failing to hear them over the rushing wind as it dives. Your brief pause to try and communicate causes you to fall behind, your subsequent slashes with both sword and talons finding only empty air
The diving vulture heads straight for Kuori, perhaps having seen what a frontal assault on the party meant for its companion. Dahme'dre, as Valen's spell incinerates the vulture before you, you pirouette smoothly and warned by Aio's cry above, unleash a blast into its diving companion, smashing it momentarily off course.
It comes on nevertheless and manages to land on the bridge behind Kuori. It lunges forward with its beak, long neck snapping forward snakelike in an effort to rip out your throat. You twist your body sideways, shoulder flung back, and the creatures foul carrion breath washes over you as its beak passes harmlessly within an inch of your neck. Unfortunately, there is simply no room on the bridge to dodge the creatures talons as it rakes them across your body (6 damage). What do you do?

Kuori, despite the pain of the wound the vulture leaves across your abdomen and the flurry of its feathers and claws, you reach forward with powerful hands and seize the gigantic avian in a deathgrip. It panics, flailing against you with wings and attempting to escape but Goliath muscles cord in your arms, restraining its every attempt at freedom. With no grip on the rails and the vulture flailing in your arms, you'll need all your skill to maintain your footing on the swaying bridge. (( Dexterity check to stay on your feet please, Ms Barbarian.))
Erdan, as the vulture is largely obscured by the massive form of Kuori, you summon frost inside the gigantic bird, attempting to chill it to the bone. Unfortunately, the hardy beast, while cawing in consternation, appears to shrug off the chill.
Aio, below you Kuori grapples with the vulture. A quick scan of the sky reveals only one more of the giant birds, but this one appears to be circling warily, unwilling to commit to the fight until it sees someone weakened. What do you do?
Valen, ahead of you Erdan sprints for the wall with Dahme'dre hot on his heels. Directly behind you, Kuori stands with the giant vulture seized in her arms, trying to maintain a stable stance on the rapidly swaying bridge. What do you do?
Aio, noticed the circling vulture above and made her own circles as if claiming the people below. She used her enormous wingspan to try and block the view of Kuori, who had been injured. She did not trust her footing on the bridge enough to land, however.

Kuori, grappling with the wildly flailing beast, you half bend your knees to maintain balance on the swinging bridge. A particularly strong gust of wind rattles the construction, and you feel your footing begin to slip. You stumble, but a divine power seems to guide your next half-step, your foot landing just-so and your balance returning as you redouble efforts to keep the vulture pinned. ((Valen to the rescue! ))
Aio, you hover just above the bridge, wings spread wide, screening the embattled Kuori from the vulture's gaze. The cunning bird does not attack, instead it dives almost directly at you and then hovers, using its wings to beat powerful gusts directly at you. ((Roll a strength check if you want to maintain your position screening Kuori, or a dexterity check if you want to do any kind of fancy flying maneuver in response. ))
Dahme'dre, ahead you see Erdan almost at the wall. Behind you, Kuori wrestles with one vulture while the second hovers above, buffeting Aio with wind from its full wingspan. What do you do?
Aio tucks her wings in tightly to her body like she's going to dive and then snaps them back out to full size after completing a spin and uses the diving momentum to bring her back up behind the vulture and grab its tail in her talons to throw off its ability to steer.

Dahme'dre turns back to take in the scene. She aims to take down the bird still in the air, hitting 10 for 2 (crit:1)force. Then she moves after Valen toward the end of the bridge.
Valen rushes to Kuori's side, but the bridge doesn't allow for much side-by-side combat. Once he's sure she's ok, he will send another Sacred Flame at the vulture to keep it away from Aio before starting the flight to safety.
