"Thank you, sir." Adamnods thanks to the giff, Boswell, and goes to his bunk. Storing his pack in his footlocker gets a whiff of himself. "Whoof, when was the last time I had a bath."Adam removes his chest armor and shirt and goes to the washroom. "Going to go freshen up. Be back in five. Food and drinks sound great." he calls from over his shoulder. A jaw-dropping number of battle scars can be seen on his back with bandages wrapped around his ribs.
Adam washes his face with hot water and a soapy bath-clothe and takes a moment to stare into the mirror. "From officer to cadet. 'Once more unto the breach', I suppose. Also, how would Muck sleep in a bunk without getting the sheets dirty?"
He grimaces as he removes bandages to examine his wound. Three inches below his heart is a scorched impact with black lightning spreading outward under his skin. "At least this is looking much better. Lilit sure knows her healing spells and tonics." Adam finishes redressing his wound, wiping down his arms and chest. He grabs a dry towel on the way out hears Muck asking for a cauldron, bucket, or bowl, and spots the group of elves harassing Warren.
"Is there a problem here?"IntimidationRoll: 9 Adam asks with drops of moisture rolling down his battle-scarred chest telling the amount of hell he has seen, been through, and is ready for more.
"If there is, you can take it up with Boswell...or.", pause for effect. "We can settle this ourselves. You want Warren's bunk. Muck needs the finest cauldron to sleep in. So, we could settle this the old fashion way. Through a wager. A challenge in the Gymnasium or a duel in the Sim."
The yellow sunlight in his dark void eyes begins to burn bright with violent intentions. "Personally, I would pick the latter."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Muck thanks Boswell and says he will talk to the petty officer about some type of bucket as he can just use the bed but his body tends to flow a bit at night so a form of bucket is more comfortable.
Then Muck will turn back around and walk back to his friends but pauses as he sees the confrontation between the group. As he is a bit away, he will dissolve his "walking" form and become an ooze and attempt to slide around the edge of the room, going under beds or in between cracks to get under the bed the elf (Veena) is sitting on (Warren's bed).
Assuming the long ears are distracted and looking towards Warren and everyone else, Muck will hopefully come up behind Veena and and once more extend a thin pointed psudeopod and stick it under Veena's chin, imitating the look of a dagger.
"Believe friend send no, now move before I have to call the janitor to clean up what is left of you after I eat." Muck whispers in Veena's ear.
"Coward, guess you ain't...ain't...uh," Veena starts to stutter as she looks past Warren and at Adam. She covers her mouth and look away, yet you can see the tip of her ears redden. The cadets beside her speak up, "Yea right, no way you got an officer to back you for duels yet. But we can beat you on the obstacle course, have you be our-"
"Shut it," Veena interrupts, "I-I don't want a bunk near...Anyway lets just go, we've got better things to do." She stands up, not knowing she knocked away Muck's psudeopod. She hurries off back to her original bunk, as the two cadets look confused for a moment but follow after her.
(Inspiration has been granted to Adam)
You hear a catcall from the other side of the dormitory, along with a large orc woman giving a shout, "Looking good, honey! Oooh!"
[Spelljammers]
"Now then, the next step is moving. Just the imagine the ship, going forward or backward, don't try to move to the side, just forward or back." He repeats "And don't go near each other yet, that's harder to explain so we'll do it once you all understand how to steer."
Warren grins at Veena, "Awwwwee Ya'll don't like my friend here?" He waves as she scurries away, "Nice meetn ya'll."
Turning back to his companions he says, "Thanks fer that mates. It might a come to blows if ya'll hadn't stepped in."
Glancing in the direction of the catcall, Warren snickers then elbows Adam. "Looks like you got yerself an admirer." For the first time, Warren notices the scars crisscrossing across the elf's body. "Looks like you've been to hell and back! You'll have to share some stories over dinner." He takes a swig out of his canteen, then remembers that Muck had been inside of it. His eyes bulge for a second as he keeps himself from spewing whisky all over Adam. He let's the liquid flow back into the canteen, then glances towards the Ooze as he wipes his mouth. Clearing his throat, he screws the lid tightly back onto the canteen and puts it back into his satchel. "Speaking of food. Shall we?" He gestures to the door.
Zaridil attempts to keep his head throughout the process. The concept of multidimensional sight is… hard to grasp. Of course, this is an understatement, and the situation’s gravitas has hardly dawned on the Harengon yet. Having said this, his enthusiasm is on par with Beshlog’s - it is all too clear that Spelljamming is the real deal. With a focused twitch of the nose, he wills the mechanism to move forward.
Beshlog slowly starts pushing his ship forwards, getting a feel for this strange experience. It feels otherworldly and exhilarating to use this strange ability. Part of him wants to race forward at top speed, pushing it to the limits right away. But the Goliath manages to resist the foolhardy impulse, instead carefully moving forwards at a steady pace. He must be patient if he wants to learn.

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
A mouth forms on the back side of Muck as he slides back over to gather his belonging he dropped, "Speak nothing of it, friends stick together. Think Adam did most of the convincing." Then he moves back over to this bed and places a few things in the trunk and then moves the blankets around in a circle forming an empty space he can rest in later this evening.
"Food sounds good and wonder if the others are done yet, so then we can check in and grab our stuff."
Bellona slowly starts to imagine the ship forward, then backwards. Its a strange sensation but as she sinks into it becomes familiar, almost comforting.
Well, Mirelda did declare that she got it, no reason not to prove it. She "sent" the "ship" forward, keeping an "eye" on the others around her - it was interesting to see how everyone looks in this ... dimension? She was not sure what to call that imaginary space. Slowly forward - slowly back. Then a bit faster, just to test the speed of the responses. Yep, she totally got it!
(Roll a d20 with your rating as your modifier. The DC is 13 but if you pass you accidently put too much enthusiasm in it, sending your ship in almost top speed. On fail you manage to control yourself and go about it slowly.)

Well crap... Guess that makes sense for a guy obsessed with magic but limited talent like Beshlog, though (see you all in a couple lightyears lol)
