The only meal that seemed to be harder to discern was the 4 food groups one. As the giff gave you a two large portion of beans and bacon, both cooked in lard, a mix of baking and deep frying. And for some reason, he added a bottle of whiskeys with a few shot glasses.

As you all start to understand steering more, Saerthe nods, "Very good, you all are performing well. This class shall just help introduce you to flying, but the sims and actual experience will further your skill. Now then, just stop the ship in orbit of a planet as class is ending now. We shall cover more specifics as the the air and gravity tomorrow."
When you all park the ships, Saerthe takes center of the space, "Now then to exit, just slowly try to remember yourself. Feel yourself breathing, the sensation of touch, anything to help ground you back to your body."
Beshlog doesn't want to leave the ship behind just yet... but he reluctantly pulls away by focusing on just how incredibly uncomfortable the too-small chair is.
"Can't wait to do that again," the giant wizard says with a smile. "So, what's next?"
"As I said, class is ending for now. We'll pick it up by tomorrow and you all still need to finish orientation." Saerthe answers, "I can tell that you all aren't done yet as you have yet to change into your uniforms." He points at his purple accented uniform, "But there's no real danger to it as long as you don't try for the sky deck before receiving the welcome package."

"It was amazing!" "Parking" the ship was not too hard but a full return from illusion to reality did take some time. Now Mirelda was standing by her chair holding to the armrest and getting used to both sensations. "Maybe let's get the package and a bunker first and then everything else?"She looked at the other jammers.
"Sounds like a solid plan to me," the giant replies to Mirelda. "I'm gonna go ahead and volunteer to take a bottom bunk... I doubt any of you would be all too comfortable with a 300-pound goliath sleeping above them in a creaky bunk."

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
After finishing his food Muck says, "Might as well go to admin and then company store to pick up our items. Then we can head back to our bunks, dropping off what ever we want and wait for the others to finish up and join us for the assault course."
Warren chugs his drink, then looks at Muck, "Sounds like a plan. Been looking forward to seein this assault course. Heh heh, whatta ya'll say to makin it a bit of a competition? A friendly competition mind you. But a competition nonetheless? Raises the stakes a bit."
He stands up and pushes his chair back under the table.
(Sounds like next destination is Admin area so the group will be joining all together again.)
The trip downwards is pretty uneventful as it seems the academy is just shifting its cadets and officers about. As you all converge at the admin area's visitors' lounge, you see the clerks and staff here going back forth from their reception room and their records room. Peeking into the reception, you see at the reception desk they saved a spot for new recruits, it being manned by a thri-keen who was multitasking answering sending stones, sorting files, and processing request forms all at once with her four hands.
Adam pats his 'food-baby', "Ah, that hits the spot. I'll save the whiskey for later. Maybe for a nightcap."
"Onward to the Admin," he says, rising from his chair " and then to the Store. Hopefully, I will find something to replace this Belaying Pin (Club). It's good in a pinch but not as effective as a Flail or Mace.
As Muck, Warren, and Adam enter the Admin, Adam will approach the thri-kreen female. "Greetings, fair and lovely thri-kreen." he begins with some friendly-flirting "My name is Adam Lexx'ela Vaish; these two," he waves his hand over in introduction, "me are my friends Muck and Warren. We have come by to collect the Welcome Packs for new recruits. And, may I say, your carapace is looking radiant today." Adam finishes with some more friendly flirting and his best charming smile.

Muck Int check: 12
Muck is intrigued by the wager Warren proposes and looks forward to the "friendly" competition.
Standing slightly behind Adam he is amused by the interaction between the thri-kreen and Adam and then looks then up and won and tries to imagine how that would work.
Was going to try and see if Muck was smart enough or remembered the little tid bit about how Preying Mantis copulate, but nope, completely drawing a blank.
The thri-keen mandible clatter and her antenna twitch about before you all hear a voice in your head.
"Greetings new cadets, congratulations on passing the test Sim! I am glad to provide you all your new uniforms along with a spare. Along with a complimentary toiletry bag, you'll also receive a 50 gold piece voucher for our stores. Lastly, here is a blue cap to authorize access to the sky deck during your orientation. Please let us know if you have any questions or would like directions, our staff is here to help."
She leans down and starts to put bags upon the counter, a total of 7.
(Remember you all are on the admin area as most were going there anyway. )
Warren watches Adam's interaction with the thri-keen. That elf sure has an odd taste in women.
When the Thri-keen speaks through though telekinesis, he is quite surprised. However, he hides this behind a smile, "Thank ya kindly mam."He says as he takes his bag.
"Oh, look, our martial friends are already here!" Mirelda nodded towards the other part of the group already gathering their welcome packages. She happily joined them at the counter and picked up her bag. "A blue cap! Perfect!"Maybe it was not that perfect - blue on blue - but she liked the colour nevertheless. She tried it out, regretting the absence of a mirror around, and then asked the "corps". "Did you get your bunkers already? We did not still. Where would it be? Just let us throw our things in there and then we can all go and eat something."
(Alrighty)
Warren orders the Salmon, then sits at the table with Adam. "Oh Lordy you must be hungry." He laughs when he sees the elf's plate.
Warren, who also ordered the special, stops chewing for a moment when Muck absorbs his food. Then he laughs and continues eating.

”Agreed! Lets pick up the package next. Whatever we get we can drop off then take care of the rest. I must say this was quite the beginning!”

Zaridil agrees, with reluctance... "That's all well and good. But after, we should search out the venue our martial friends went to guzzle at!"

Bellona dons her cap and picks up her bag thanking the thri-keen.
“50 gold in voichers wonder what they sell here?”
"Only one way to find out..." the hare replies. Looking around at the immediate space, what sorts of stores seem to be scattered about?
