Mirelda's eyes focused on Zaridil, thoughtfully. "You are Zaridil, right? I mean, for real? I mean, there I knew it but now we are here and I know that I do not know you and you can be actually anyone." It sounded complicated even to her own ears but she waved away the complexity and nodded to the statement. "Sure would not mind being the scariest fish in that pond. Helps to stay alive as well as anything else."She wrinkled her nose. "Don't think that's the case, though."
The triton managed to listen Tarto's without interruptions (though the wish to explain her actions was written on her face), glanced at happy Beshlog and instead asked: "Those reavers... Do they really look like that? And smell? It was like they brought some foul water... I mean air with them."
Muck puts his equipment away and then lets his form melt into a puddle next to his backpack as he reflects on the fight. Mentally berating himself for the lack of skills with his bow and just the general lack of discipline during hr fight.
With the words form the instructor he vows to do better. He then morphs back into the form with hands and legs and grabs his gear turning to the rest out here. "Who wants to join me in drinks tonight to celebrate out first encounter? And to drink to many many more to come in the following days?"

"It's a vast sea of stars and anyone can be your foe or ally. And the simulation does come from other officers encounters, it helps to make the simulation more real."
It strikes Zaridil that the triton's words are akin to a free flow of thought - directly from the imagination, with little filter. He nods, amused. "No lies there... the way you fought seemed to keep you alive quite adequately"
He takes note of Tarto's critique, content in the knowledge that entangle is his preference anyway, and gives his full attention once again.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
With a flourish of his blade, practiced many times, Adam returns his longsword to its sheath an audible "CLICK". He then strapped his worn shield to his back. Adam moves to stand at attention before Boatswain Tarto and takes a quick glance at the many metals on his military uniform.
'Reckless but effective,' he thinks to himself and nods in agreement with Tarto's judgment. After Tarto's speech, he stands at ease and turns to greet his fellow cadet, Beshlog. "Good strike on that Firebeard's skull.", Adam says to Beshlog. "Being hard-pressed by two enemies was not enjoyable. I thank you for the support."
"I wouldn't mind some good ale," Beshlog says. "Oh, and it weren't no problem, Adam. I know you'd do the same for me any day... and let's be real, you did just as much of a favor for me as I did for you. Firebeard was gunnin' for me until he saw you!"
"Taking directly from the captains..." Did it mean Tarto never encountered rievers herself? Mirelda did not ask that question out loud, of course, just nodded in acceptance of the answer.
"I'll join too." She did not like alcohol in any shape or form but "waterhole" sounded too attractive and she was sure there would be water among the drinks the place can offer.
"The more the merrier" Zaridil concludes with a wink. Being a harengon, he doesn't drink either - indeed, many alcohols are toxic to his kind. Perhaps I can order a tea... yes, a nice bramble berry tea to soothe the nerves.

Hi there! I'm a Christian musician based in Canada :)
"Well it looks like we're gonna make a mighty fine group if i do say so myself." Warren tips his hat to the group, "Mighty fine indeed. It'll be nice to get to know ya'll before we find ourselves in a real battle."
"Alright alright, you all can take your drink after you finish up orientation." Tarto puffs a smoke out as she flips through the ledger then takes something out. She hands each of you a flyer, a map of the academy.
"A map so you all don't get lost. And if you check on the other side, you'll see a assortment of tasks to complete before the day is out. I'd recommend starting from the top then going down from the list of it."
As you scan the list, you note something on the bottom of it,
(Will post a link to the academy map in the campaign notes)
"Once you all are done with those tasks, come see me here on the simulations deck. I'll have a last task before I buy you all a round to welcome you all at our tavern."
Bellona accepts the papers and looks them over suppressing an internal groan. From high adventure to a task list, hoops to a destination. She turns to ask the group.
"Well might as well go down the list, anyone wana head with me to the administration office to pick up this welcome pack?"
Then his body ripples in resignation, "Duty first I suppose and we should all probably go, as there will probably be forms to sign and what not. Now if we get these items done quickly we can then finish up at Weeping Goddess tavern with everyone else."
"Good plan,"nodded Mirelda. "Better to stick together lest someone can miss something." (the list of things to do looked horribly long). "Are we corp cadets or spelljammer only cadets?" "What are the "corp cadets" anyway?"

The hare attempts to mask his surprise at Muck's proposal... can he really drink alcohol, with that anatomy?

Warren listens to Tarto’s words carefully. He will not make the same mistakes again.
Once the Hadozee leaves, he turns to his new crew mates. When Muck mentions drinks he grins. “That sounds fantastic mate! I’d be happy to join ya.”
He does not question how the blob man drinks, he just guessed the man must just absorb it or something….
Bellona has always wanted to grow, to fund more. Its the very thing that has called her to this moment.
She gives a nod to Tarto appreciative of the feedback.

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
