If the creature hits Fah'lin with less than 26, he will attempt to defend with Shield. If the creature targets an ally with its fourth attack and Fah'lin has not used a Reaction, he will use his Sentinel attack in defense.

 Thar will cast Toll the Dead from a range of 60' if possible.  Damage: 7

OOC:   I'm going to be away from tomorrow (8th) until the 24th. I'm not sure what my internet access will be like. Should at least be on phone some of the time, but it's not so easy to do stuff on there.

The tree pulls both Grappled people up to its mouth and it bites 1 Fah'lin or 2 Gijigume 1 Attack 15 for 28

Fah'lin Curses the creature with his Hexblade Curse and strikes again, hitting (1)44 for 8 Bludgeoning and smites for 8 Radiant damage.

"Ouch. I certainly hope that doesn't happen again."

He'd fall back, but he's in the monster's grip.

Igneous quickly ducks under the tree's arm, he quickly slashes at the roots with his new dagger
