Go ahead and post for round 2.
Though for round 2 Everyone is going to have to do another Con check DC 16 or take 3. Everyone without a star also will do another Dex check or be blinded.
Mordred easily shakes off the worms' poison as he quickly makes a grab for Jack. (Well that strength save would have failed, but we can say you are just giving Jack the help action. Jack is trying to pull Nygil out right now. lol)
Jack can have advantage on the strength check to get Nygil out.
As the chaos evolves around him, Zalten is suddenly filled with a comforting and rather familiar feeling. Is this the presence of his god, even in so lightless of a place? He stands there basking in that glow for a moment as the few words he can hear begin to play in his mind, and when they fade, this warmth remains, bringing him a sense of comfort that he has not felt since being ripped into this place. Finally, he has heard his god's voice once again
"Thank you. I will help her and I will return to you soon", he thinks, hoping that perhaps his god can hear him respond. The last words of the message repeat in his mind, proving to him that even with everything that holds them apart, his god is still with him. With this new knowledge, that shadowly gloom of doubt that had overtaken him is dispelled. He has his god's edict now, garbled though it is, and he revels in those last two words: "Not forsaken"
His attention then turns to the middle part of the message. What exactly did it mean? He begins pondering:
"The child wronged must be Kashika, but what of the second part? Help the...sguided? Misguided perhaps? Does that also refer to Kashika, telling me to help her recover from the wrongs done to her and prevent any more, but to help her do so without some part of her current plan? Or perhaps it refers to my other companions?"
Whatever the answer is, he can't quite figure it out, but with these words from his god, his faith is renewed and his path is set: He will help Kashika right the wrongs done to her and prevent any more harm from coming to her. He also knows he must soon figure out what exactly those middle words from his god meant, so that he may fully excecute the edict of his diety. For now though, he refocuses on the conflict in front of him, just in time to feel something begin to move near his leg
Acrobatics check: 20 Perception you asked for earlier: 19
Round 2 Checks: Con: 23 (Nat 20) Dex: 16 (God this series of rolls was amazing)
Round 2: Zalten is able to shake off the effects of the sandstorm again, maintaining his vision (assuming the DC is still 16 so I just barely saved), and he avoids being cut by the sand flying through the air. Hearing his companions words about the stars, he pulls out one of the two stars Nygil gave him back at the river, holding it in his hand
Assuming that doesn't take up my action for the turn, I'll use my turn as follows: Bonus Action: Disengage, just in case Movement: To Rethan (if he's moved away from me, posts suggest he has but he isn't anywhere different on the map) Action: Medicine Check: 3 (Nat 1)
Jumble finally cleared the sand from his eyes and got a glimpse of his surroundings. He quickly located the wormling behind him and chastized it before more sand found its way into his eyes. "Ack! Inappropriate!" he sputtered as he again tried to clear his vision.
ACTION: Cast Vicious Mockery on the wormling; DC 15 WIS Save or take 5 psychic damage BONUS: Try to clear vision (Medicine Check:8)
Strength Check (with Advantage!): I got a 6 for both rolls....
Feeling Mordred reach out to help her, Jack only has more reason to pull as hard as she possibly can. However, she inhales a lungful of sand and most of that effort is spent coughing it out.
Round 2!
But she won't let go of Nygil. She tries again, grabbing his arm tightly so she doesn't let him slip. The sand whips her skin, forming gashes that only get deeper with every second. But she doesn't move to cover her face. She can't move. How could she ever live with the thought that someone near her was in trouble and she didn't move to help them? A deep growl comes from the very base of her throat, turning into a scream as she shakes and pulls with desperation. "You're... not... going... Not today!"
Con check: 14
Strength (not with advantage cause I don't know if Mordred's gonna keep helping Jack): 3
Action: Interact with [Nygil]
(Retconning and deleting this. Round 2 Action in my next post!)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kashika & Zalten (before the combat):
Tamara was at first irritated by Kashika launching into her life's story rather than her plan, but as she went on, Tamara began to feel some sympathy for the kobold. She'd been through even worse than her, forced to stoop even lower than Tamara ever had to. And being abducted by her own mother and forced into servitude... well. She barely remembered her own mother, but she couldn't imagine the humiliation of getting bullied by one's own parents; strangers were bad enough.
Despite that, she wasn't sure about the plan itself. She definitely liked the sound of overthrowing the twin tyrants and freeing their victims, but she wasn't even sure if they could access the crown's power or if it would backfire if they did. And, as she grimly nodded along with Zalten's words of sympathy, she realized she liked preferred the idea of herself doing that if it could be done.
Well, that was something to consider later. For now... "Your plight is, well, horrible. I guess having dead parents is likely better than... having a heartless tyrant as one. If we'd met in the old world I probably would've brought into my gang. If you could pull off this plan of yours, I would be completely in favor of overthrowing these two... but I think it's also important to make sure this crown's power can be used safely, if at all. But that will be something consider if we get that far."

Round 2
Tamara cursed as a fresh wave of sand blew across the field and got right into her eyes and stayed there despite a quick rub. "I can't see!" she yelled in warning to the others. Now what am I to do?Well, she had seen Kashika levitate a worm near her before the sand had kicked up again, so she steadied herself, tried to get her bearings, and fired off a fire bolt in what was hopefully the creature's direction.
Action Log
Tamara casts Fire Bolt at the levitated worm (with disadvantage on the attack)
Movement: To Rethan (if he's moved away from me, posts suggest he has but he isn't anywhere different on the map)
(Yah, I just forgot to update the map when I said I moved over to try to pull Nygil back up. Updated now, and put you next to me to reflect your post. You are of course free to move yourself to a different space if you'd prefer :P)
Rethan con save: 19
(Gonna wait to see if my strength roll was enough to get nygil back up and what the current state of everything is before I post action for round 2)
(Oops, don't know how i missed your other post Rethan! :b)
Round 1
Zalten, feeling the sand beneath him starting to give way, agilely jumps to the side. With his keen eyes he pinpoints the worm's location just as it's head pops up where it had tried to grab him. He can clearly see Jack and Nygil struggling against another worm. Glancing towards Kashika, he can make out a third mound forming just behind the Kobold. (Amazing rolls indeed! You know where these worms are, so you can make an attack against any of them.) With the brief gift of warmth from his god, the aasimar feels confident in his medical skills. Hopeing to cure Rethan of his blindness, he misjudges how close the two of them are, and slaps the fighter in the face causing even more sand to enter his eyes. Congratulations, you have deducted one success. Rethan now needs two more successful med checks in order to see again.
Shrugging off Zalten's violent attempt to help him, Rethan blindly lunges in the direction of the loud elf's voice and manages to latch onto one of his flailing arms. With a mighty yank, he pulls the elf out of the sand, dragging Jack along with him. However, Nygil can still feel something chewing on his foot. Nygil and Jack are now prone.
Round 2
Once out of the sand, the wormling biting Nygil's foot chomps down harder and start's flailing it's tail around.
Nygil starts to feel hundreds of tiny teeth pierce his leg.
To hit: 24
Damage: 8.
Thrashing it's tail, it catches Jack who is currently laying face down next to Nygil.
To hit: 15
Damage: 7 piercing 13 poison (Con save DC 13 for half)
Round 2 Initiative
Kashika - current turn
Zalten
Rethan
Mordred
Jumble - will mock the worm attacking Mordred
Nygil
Tamara - will send a bolt flying towards the empty space where the floating wormling had been before Zalten killed it...
Wincing a bit at the harm he caused Rethan, Zalten considers for a moment trying to help him again but decides that perhaps without his magic, he should leave the healing to the others for a moment. He whips out his crossbow and turns to the mound he sees forming behind Kashika, taking a shot at it
(OOC: I'm assuming Kashika can't see the mound forming behind her, but if she manages to notice it and kill the worm, I'll fire at the one near Nygil and Jack instead)
Round 2: Bonus Action: Disengage Movement: 5ft back in order to get a better angle on the mound behind Kashika Attack: 18 Damage: 6 Sneak Attack: 13
As he fires at the mound near Kashika, a bit of the energy behind him, tattered bits of his celestial soul, sharpens for a moment and stabs into the ground, hitting the worm that tried to grab at him Wails from the Grave: 3 necrotic
Coughing and spitting sand out of his mouth, Rethan yells, "You're supposed to be helping get the sand OUT of my eyes, not throwing more of it in my face!"
Then he turns focus back towards where he can hear the worm thrashing on the ground while it chews on Nygil's foot.
"Hold still," he says to Nygil. "I think I can do this."
Pulling his spare hand axe from his belt, he concentrates on the sound of the thrashing worm and brings the axe down twice (unless the first shot happens to kill it)
Advantage from star counters disadvantage from blind
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Mordred feels himself sinking in with Jack and Nygil, he wouldn't let go of the both of them not even if it killed him. He talked with Kashika about how he understood not putting others first. He made it seem he wouldn't put others first that it was reasonable to care for you're own safety but that was a lie. Mordred himself wasn't even sure if he knew he was lying but push came to shove he couldn't leave others to die even if it'd save his own skin.
"Damn it.. Jack..Nygil..."
Mordred will continue to pull at the two of them as best he can, trying to yank Jack out with Nygil.
OOC Might take my action for round 2 but I'm going for it! 23
