(Is that how exhaution works? It seems extreme to give two levels of exhaustion at the same time. If some fail they are all but basically useless for several days and two levels away from death. Also so it makes more sense why does only Sandral have enough water???)
Con Save: 8
(So yeah someone is going to need to work impossibly hard to get Alton to move. Since is speed is now down to twelve and he is really tired. This would be the point he would want to be done with the quest. And sorry if it seems like I am complaining I just want to know so I can be sure of what is going on.)
I have 15 ft, and Sen'ra has been done with this from the mold on wards

(I think it's because I brought additional waterskins alongside food etc.)
If the situation is getting worse for people and water, could Sandral attempt to filter some water? With some provisions, borrowing a bullseye lantern, and his fire spells, he could attempt to distil some water to refill some waterskins. He wouldn't be stingy with his water if others are suffering.
A character needs one gallon of water per day, or two gallons per day if the weather is hot. A character who drinks only half that much water must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or suffer one level of exhaustion at the end of the day. A character with access to even less water automatically suffers one level of exhaustion at the end of the day.
If the character already has one or more levels of exhaustion, the character takes two levels in either case.
It's really harsh regarding the exhaustion without water since you take two levels if you already have exhaustion.
Sandral stumbled a small puddle of water below a stalactite that contains drinkable water, filling two of his waterskins.
As for distilling water, you have to capture the steam from the boiling seawater and wait for it to condense on a different container for it to be drinkable. It would take hours just to fulfill the 1 gallon quota for the day without proper equipment.

(Ah well wish we would have know exhaustion was going to be so seriously done in this game so I would have looked at it more to better prepare for this. If I am going to role play Alton right this is the point where he would try to leave as he would refuse to die like this. Ah well let's hope we find some drinkable water or the party will be tpked due to no water. Oh well just got to rp it out and see how things go.)
Rinc turns to the kobolds. "We need a fresh water source . Can you help us?"
"By Lathander's hairy backside, cheer up men, things could be worse..."
I was supposing the purpose of the long rest was to remove exhaustion....I can imagine we would have searched for water first if we knew we were short....:)

I'll only emphasize exhaustion from water on places with limited supplies like the this specific underdark placed below the sea or barren places. Once you got out of the cave, I'll automatically assume you can find water for the rest of the journey. Exhaustion from travelling for more than 8 hours are still in effect throughout the campaign.
Riskah Constitution saving throw: 9
Logum Constitution saving throw: 18
Also, I need to know who Sandral will give his water (other characters fulfilled the 4 pints of water needed for the day from their waterskin)
Sen'ra and Riskah have both Level 3 exhaustion while Logum has 4.
(Understood. Quick someone learn create and destroy water!!!)
Alton looks to the rest of them seriously. "If we do not get water then we need to leave. As it is all of us are to tired to properly fight and soon enough we will be to weak to even move."

Sandral will fill the waterskins with water and keep the trapped steam to settle in the lamp. "It should have extra water tonight." He tells the others, handing the extra waterskins to share. As he is doing better than the others he will try and pick up the slack for them.
(I think the exhaustion is meant to be make a DC save if you are below the gallon requirement, but it's automatic if you are less than that, rather than 1 and a saving throw. Hooray for ambiguous text!)
I'll make it that if you give 1 waterskin filled with water to one character, they retroactively remove their 2 points of exhaustion they got from their failed save and fulfills the 1 gallon quota of the day thus removing 1 more point of exhaustion after their long rest. As for the steamed seawater, every shift in night watch will put the collected water to your waterskin, filling it after the fourth watch.

"Oh, finally. Enough water to share. You have my many thanks." Sen'ra drinks a waterskin.

If so, perhaps Survival: 23
(Well that makes sense but the 2 levels of exhaustion after a long rest still don't to me.)

(Thanks very much, DM. So whomever is looking their worst on that day can have the additional waterskin to retroactively help with their exhaustion.)
I assume this is Logum unless anyone else has four levels of exhaustion. Exhaustion level one.
Logum drinks from the half-elf's waterskin rapidly. "Thank you Sandral, I fear if we don't get outta here tomorrow, we won't get out of here."
Logum drinks one of the two waterskins before taking a long rest.
I removed a ration from your inventory when you were away and you only have level 1 exhaustion after you finish the long rest.
