Seeing the smoke around the masked figure Aisha realizes that he will be difficult to hit, but the metal of his mask has been a good conductor of the electric from her hand so she'll get close and use Shocking Grasp again.

To Hit: 7 Damage: 2 lightning and if it hits he can't take reactions.

As the fog encircles them, Duncan feels the foe's sword swing past him, disturbing the wind. Knowing where the enemy is, he retaliates and continues swinging his glaive, this time using his Second Wind to heal a bit.

Kasbis listens for the sounds of the masked figure, any ragged breathing or sounds that would come from such a foe.  He shoots a bolt of force in that direction.  The blow from the masked figure misses Gaz, who continues to wrap around their feet and try to help.

Everyone missed except for Duncan

You can hear a grunt of pain from the masked figure. Then you here an intonation of a spell. All of a sudden you can hear the clacking of bones reassembling as they shamble through the door behind you and the scraping of rusted metal.

"Take care of them" says the Masked Figure. He then moves towards the tree. Aisha you can feel the whoosh of air and the sound of footsteps as he walks past you.

3 skeletons now come for the party even though you cannot see them.

Each of you can sense a foul air as they come closer.

Round 7 Post when able.

Kasbis moves forward approximately 15 feet in front of Duncan and Aisha when he hears the masked figure moving forward.  He says “We have company… behind us!”  He listens and tries to target the masked figure again by sound and sense.  Gaz feels useless and moves forward towards his master’s pant like, ascending and climbing into his usual spot on an inner pocket of his robe.  Smoke continues to bubble out.

Eldritch blast : Attack: 20 Damage: 9 + 2 thunder damage if it hits.

Duncan steps back slightly in effort to block the new enemies from getting to the others. When the first one approaches he tries to stop it at 10 ft from him, and then continues with his normal attacks at it. He calls back, "I'll try to hold them back, get that damn mask!"

The masked Figure makes it to the tree and strikes at it with his bone sword. Corrupting force bleeds into the tree and with 1 hand he snaps a branch from the tree. Then powerful tremors begin emanating from the tree. Staying on your feet is a hard, but doable.

From your connection to Elistine Aisha can feel something wondrous is dying.

The you hear giant chains breaking as a large scaled beast rises from the water.

The Masked man holding the branches lets out a cruel laugh "So you have broken out from my planer prison. Know that you and others are too late"

A circle of teleportation forms beneath his feet "Welp of Kurta know that I delighted at the fall of your foolish father. If you wish to find me then come to the House of Carnac as I am Baron Brambar"

In the next moment he vanishes

"Stop there!" Duncan yells as the skeleton attempts to pass him.

He then continues to attack at 3, knowing that 2 already is focused on him.

Once the eversmoking bottle is corked then you will see this tree and how rapidly it begins to wilt.

Kasbis falls to his knees as he feels the weight of his failure.  His head down, he rests his palms on the ground, catching his breath and remaining silent for a long moment.  “I failed, father.”  

After he gathers himself, he stands, looking up at this creature, saying “How do we heal this tree?  How do we set this aright?  Please, can you help us?  Who are you, what are you?”
