Kasbis is the last one through the door, and one final action that he takes before they close themselves inside, in the 10 foot space at the base of the well he casts poison spray, filling the space with noxious gas, and then goes through the door, Oriyas locking it.
He looks forward into the gloom with his darkvision, looking for the way to proceed from here..

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Kasbis sees a puddle of water further down the corridor. The walls are rough to the touch as it seems to have been carved from stone. The corridor leads to another chamber. It smells like damp earth.
"I Have never been down here so I am not sure what we will find." whispers Oriyas
As the door closes and Duncan finds himself completely blind, he calmly and slowly reaches back for his pack to remove a torch and flint. Though he is practiced in this skill, doing so in the pitch black slows him a bit, but after about a minute has a torch lit and starts to let his eyes readjust to the fire light.

Kasbis sees the strange film of oil on the water ahead of them and holds up his hand in a “stop” manner, halting their progress. “This is odd. There may be traps down here, to prevent intruders. Don’t carry that torch any closer…” He looks for any traps, specifically for any flame traps, or the source of the oil.
Duncan reaches down to pick up a stone from the ground to toss into the mucky water.
((Does the corridor head off in one direction? About how wide is it? How far can we see? Does it just fade into darkness, or turn in some direction? Have the soldiers noises behind the wall stopped?))
Not wanting to get his boots wet, and not really trusting the water either, Duncan steps back and after a running starts leaps over the water, stopping just before the room opens up to peer into the now lit area ahead.
Duncan, after peering in the room ahead and determining if it's safe or not, nods, and, leaving his backpack and glaive to make things easier, jumps back, and taking a deep breath does his best to toss the child.

Peering into the darkness Duncan hands the torch to the kid to hold for a moment as he reaches to his pack on the floor unraveling the rope. "Tie this around yourself!"he calls out to Kas, tossing one end over the brackish water. Once Kas has it tied Duncan will give it a good yank as the noble man does his best to jump across, hoping to be able to use the momentum and get him across the water. ((athletics 11))
The coordination between Kasbis and Duncan were not in sync and Kasbis lands heavily into the puddle. Kasbis weight triggers the trap and the oily puddle ignites into raging flames that reaches up the ceiling.
The party now stands in the pitch blackness of an antechamger. You hear muffled shouting from the otherside of the door, but it stays closed.

The torchlight reveals that the puddle that covers half of the corridor has an oily film. Water drips from the ceiling above the puddle.
