Duncan and Oriyas weapons begins to corrode fast. Each weapon gets a permanent -1 damage.
Corrode Metal. Any nonmagical weapon made of metal that hits the ooze corrodes. After dealing damage, the weapon takes a permanent and cumulative −1 penalty to damage rolls.
This ooze seems weaker than the last as its already leaking and swaying.

((since Kas is above Duncan in initiative, he can use the staff this turn, so I deleted my last post))
"Thanks!" Duncan says, taking the staff from Kas, Duncan, disgusted, throws his glaive into the ooze, watching it melt. He then grips the staff like he's seen monks do in the past, and swings the wooden staff at the oozing creature.
Using the quarterstaff, Duncan moves the muck around fishing for anything still in one piece, and sees his only parts of his old glaive, nearly all melted away. Then, not sure where to go, but aware that there may still be poison in the air in front of them, takes the torch and heads back to the door at the end of the hallway ((to room 8))
Not sure what the bottle may hold, Duncan wipes the gunk off of it with his cloak, hands it back to Kas, and says, "We must stay alert down here." He then heads towards room 8, not sure there out is yet...
Upon opening the door to room 8 you see an unlit forge and blacksmith tools. Unused metal ingots and a bag of charcoal. There on the weapons rack hangs a longsword and shortsword. Leaning against the weapons rack is a kite shield. There is a leather pouch by the forge.

Kasbis follows Duncan, peering ahead. He hands Oriyas another dagger, saying “You are quite good with these. This is the last one I can give you. I have one more that was my father’s and I’m not giving that away.”

Duncan will go check out room 9 with the others following in case there is danger and look around ((perception 13)). If there is something there he'll deal with it, if not, back to room 7 and the SE door, hoping that the gas has cleared and then down into room 10.

Kasbis stands behind Duncan, peering ahead at the oily water and the crate. "Oh no. Not again. I've had enough of this. Not falling for it this time. Let's go around it, or if not possible, let's go another way."
He looks at the swirling smoke in the bottle and tries to gain a feel of whether this is magical? Certainly looks so...

Kasbis takes a careful look and there seems to be no traps or hidden monsters.
