The miner lets out some groans of pain as he tries to recall why he was mining "I am digging up something... its not minerals. Its old very old, but I am not sure. At the the far southern end of this mine. There is something." He lets out a scream of pain and passes out.
"Poor guy." Aisha empathizes, "But the best thing we can do for him is deal with whatever is down here. It looks like we have a direction to go now, South." And she points to the East a bit disoriented underground.
Duncan nods at Aisha, saying, "Yes... Whatever is down here needs to be dealt with quickly. Perhaps we can also see if there are any signs down in the south of what he was searching for."Duncan then grabs the man's pick and shovel ((and whatever other mining equipment he has)), stashing it on his pack.
Kasbis says “Yes, this seems right. We need to head south as the miner said, but it appears to go south around that bend.” He catches up with Duncan and Aisha, then says “What is this over here, on the floor?” His eyes dart around the larger section of the room, looking for any tendrils with his Devil’s sight.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"It would be nice if we had a way to test this circle and see if there's another side without going through it. I mean what if we find another circle we won't know if they connected unless." Aisha stops and takes out a cloth, wraps it around a rock and tosses it into the circle. "That way if we find another circle and a rock tied in cloth like that we'll know."
If the party rounds the bend, you hear voices speaking in abyssal language and the horrifying sight of 2 people, that now float and have dark ghostly energy that swirl about their bodies.
Kasbis speaks Abyssal, does he understand what they are saying, can he hear it? He wants to understand what is going on here, so he stops to listen to them.

Take a look at the map and tell me where does the party go next? Also take take the time to move your tokens
Aisha will move out of the tunnel and start working East on the map. "This way right?"

The party sees a purple runic circle that pulses slightly. A water drop from a stalactites on the ceiling falls onto the circle and vanishes.
Kasbis picks up a small rock and throws it onto the purple symbol.

The small rock vanishes. The magic circle is 5 ft wide.
"Let's see if we can find where it comes out..." Duncan says, then leading up into the NE corner to scout before heading south. ((perception 12))

Duncan does not find another magic circle as he further explores the mine.
Go ahead and move your tokens to where you want to move to next.
The northeast corner leads to a dead end. Heading further south is a mine cart and tracks, but nothing of note happens yet.
Do you round the bend further south?

Aisha will examine them from a distance to see if they may be further along in what ever was ailing the miner they recently encountered.

Yes your gut tells you this is what happens wen that darkness takes over the entire body of a person.
They are deep in conversation so they do not see the party yet.
