The party moves away from the blood bath towards the sound of the click tower. After a bit they come across a small creek.
Tommy turns to the others let's take a break. Not sure about you but I feel like we are walking in circles. Let's sit and listen to see if the sound moves.
OOC: short rest roll perception, investigation or nature to help pin down the tower
Hadrian as you study the map you've created you see a pattern in the terrain. You think you've pin pointed a potential flat area ahead.
Jetsam as you surround the camp. The mist makes it hard to spot anything so you focus on your hearing. As you circle the camp you notice the sound of the bell location changes depending on where you are, but it sounds strongest on one side. (In the direction of Hadrian's flat area)
With only a 12 Tommy does not get much. But he notices that high in the tree the echo from the bell goes away. Hoping down he tell the others we have been chasing an echo.
In agreement the party heads towards the direction of the flat area. They here the tower bell shift location but keep pressing towards the flat terrain.
After 10 mins or so they see a Tower start to appear out I'd the fog.
As the party moves closer to the tower a dull light starts to break up the mist as the ground starts to level out and the trees thin. A few more minutes of travel the mist seems to follow the party into the clearing.
Stepping into the clearing the mist turns solid behind us. Pressing on the mist it feels like a solid wall.
Before us stands a crystal clock tower. Standing 35 feet tall and about 30 ft wide it gives off a brilliant light we could not see till stepping into the clearing. Looking directly at the tower for too long your eyes water and sting. Looking away you see nothing for a few moments .
At the top of the tower stands the clock house. The house looks Gothic in nature with 2 large arms on the face.
The direwolf had 7 hp left he is dead.
Tommy will take one of his magic arrows from Jetsam back.
Jerry will run up to the werewolf get in from giving Tommy the help action.
Tommy will shoot the werewolf.
Attack: 26
Damage 13
Direct hit the werewolf goes down and reverts to a human.
Guess this is what he bent by dangerous beasts in this part of the forest.
Let's press on before the blood attracts more Predators.
Sweet.
If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.
"Aye, lets move on."
(Do we have time to get a short rest after we move away from here? I am spent) lol. or right before we enter the tower?
Jetsam handed the other arrow back to Tommy. “Right then.”

OOC: short rest roll perception, investigation or nature to help pin down the tower
Hadrian had a short nap then assisted Tommy with a map.
Investigation roll: 16 + tactical assessment maneuver: 5
As the two checked the map, Jetsam took a quick circle around the camp, checking for…anything, really.
Perception: 21

While Hadrian is napping Tommy climbs a tree and looks around.

Ok with 2 21s and a 12.

“Well…I heard it strongest that way. I’d suggest testing that way then.” He said, nodding his head in that direction.

Hadrian takes a look at the rough map that he and Tommy have been looking at.
"Aye, there should be a flat clearing in that direction that may be able to support the tower. I agree going that way."
In agreement the party heads towards the direction of the flat area. They here the tower bell shift location but keep pressing towards the flat terrain.

OOC/what does it look like?

(Picture this guy but all crystal)
A path in the ground made of rubble bubbles up like water as it leads to a door guarded by two statues of clock work crystal knights.
Tommy: I won't lie guys... I'm getting the heebe jebees.
Jetsam shielded his eyes a bit, trying to get a good look at it without blinding himself. He was filled with more of a sense of awe than otherwise.
”Wow…”
ooc-I actually missed what was supposed to be inside of it in the beginning.

Hadrian did not bother looking and is looking for the entrance.
"Looks like a clock tower huh?"
Tommy: Yep that be the tower I'm a thinking.
The party follows the path to the door to the tower. The two clockwork knights guarding the entrance spring to life and block the door.
Knights: You shall not pass.
Hadrian scratched his head.
"Is there a reason why we are not allowed to pass?"
