"You each walk on seperate roads, traveling the mists finding answers for your questions. This has been your life for awhile now, but a mysterious letter has recently come to your home, each letter reads these 4 words, RECLAIM WHAT YOU'VE LOST. The letter directs you to an old house. Following the directions in the cryptic message you received, it doesn't take long before they they lead you from familiar roads onto a disused trail overgrown by weeds and the roots of spindly trees. A light drizzzle begins the fall as you travel. As you approach a wooded cross roads, the leaden rain makes the cloaked form standing there seem all more unreal."
How do you react to this as you aprroach this crossroads.
Finn Lackinson walked the last leg of the trip to the place the letter had directed. As he traveled, he thought back to the mysterious letter he’d receive.
Reclaim what he’d lost.
How could that come about? What influence could the sender have that would convince his family to welcome him back?
He came to the crossroads, seeing the cloaked figure. He sounded out a “Hello?” Curious as to whether this was the sender, he took a step forward. However, underneath his own coat, his hand was on the hilt of his rapier…just in case

An aarokocra walks into this barren land. He's watching the path, eyes glued open and wide. He didn't even see the cloaked figure until he was 6 feet away, eyes stuck to the path. When he did, he yelped, "Ach! H-hello, sir?" He takes a few steps back, grasping his coat. That letter had already terrified him, what did he now walk into?
A man in a worn, brown cloak with a hood walks up to the crossroads, there are some scars on his face and if you are perceptive enough to see it, a larger scar at the base of his neck, that appears like a healed rope burn. His dark eyes look forward out of the cloak, he’s carrying a spear and backpack, but very simply dressed otherwise. His eyes dart among you, a slight look of fear, calculations being made in his head, he looks slightly confused about what is going on. He pulls the paper out of his pocket, looking at the simple 4 words. “Hello. This is odd…” is all that he says. His voice is raspy.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Finn looked from the shady figure to the birdman to the human, then back again. His grip tightened on the rapier-but didn’t draw it-and he wondered, what were they doing here, at the same place, same time as he was. Aloud, all he said was “Yes. It is odd.”

"O-odd, yes..." He looks to the others, his wings jolting in suspense, and his beak clenched. These people, the cloaked figure that stood in the center, who were they? And, more importantly, what did they want from him? "D-did you come here, from a n-note?" The fear in his voice is palpable.
Sep simply pulls out the note in his pocket, with the four mysterious words. “Like this one?” He says, indicating it. “Does anyone know why they received it?” He starts looking over his shoulder to see if he’s being observed, to see if there is anyone hiding in nearby bushes or cover waiting to leap out and grab him.

As Desmond made his way down the trail he occasionally shifted his gaze from the path in front of him to the sides of trail. While he continued forwards down the trail he couldn't help but think about the mysterious letter he'd received, he still wasn't sure how he was supposed to reclaim what he'd lost but worrying about it now wasn't going to be helpful. When he reached the cross roads and saw the cloaked figure a soft sigh escaped his lips.
"Greetings." He says with a small hint of a smile as he ever so slightly tightens his grip on his staff. A small part of him wondered if this was the sender of the letter as he hesitantly approached them.
"Y-yohannes," He says between breathes, still just as excruciatingly terrified as before. And understandably so, he's been kidnapped before, and this all seems incredibly similar.
"The name's Desmond." He said as he glanced between the birdman, the two humans and then back to the cloaked figure. "I don't know if someone amongst us sent the letters but it's possible. That being said, I was not the one to send them."
“Hello, Sep, Yohannes, Desmond, Dack.” He said, not missing a beat on remembering all the names-one of the gifts of growing up as nobility- (OOC-I can’t remember names worth beans though)

Finn raised one eyebrow, understandably a bit intrigued-and intentionally restraining any fear he might be feeling. “I did.”

“Greetings.” Finn answered, growing increasingly confused as to why there were so many people.
