The elf has been following more slowly than the others. The guard, who is clad in full traditional red-and-magenta samurai armor, is saying, "Um, yes, I'll tell someone that you need an audience. You may have to wait for some time," when she finally catches up. She's clutching her side and panting, so at first you think that she has a stitch in her ribs; but then she takes her hand away and you see that it is red with blood. Immediately the guard snaps to attention and raps out, "Your Highness. You and your companions are free to enter." He steps aside and opens the gate. As you go through, she hisses, "Stop running around and actually listen a moment, would you?" Tamashi, make a History check.

"Tama-chan, are you sure your family resides in here?" Raiden asks as he observes the situation unfolding slowly. His bushy white tail becomes even more rigid at the fearful sight of the elf's blood out of the blue and a open window left out carelessly. "You better reach out to the rest of your family fast since you're a psychic. Just to confirm they're inside" Besides, what if the assassins have already reached this place before us? And if they don't, I estimate around 5-10 minutes until absolute bloodshed rains upon this place."

Psychic Whispers. You can establish telepathic communication between yourself and others—perfect for quiet infiltration. As an action, choose one or more creatures you can see, up to a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus, and then roll one Psionic Energy die. For a number of hours equal to the number rolled, the chosen creatures can speak telepathically with you, and you can speak telepathically with them. To send or receive a message (no action required), you and the other creature must be within 1 mile of each other. A creature can’t use this telepathy if it can’t speak any languages, and a creature can end the telepathic connection at any time (no action required). "Excuse me miss, this will only take the edge off your pain but... may I?" Trey gestures to the signs of injury on the elf woman, indicating he'd like to help if she'll let him. He looks concerned for her wellbeing.
(If she's willing, he'd use some healing magic. Though he's pretty low on reserves)

It is apparently so hard to program Aberrant Mind and Clockwork Soul spell-swapping into dndbeyond they had to remake the game without it rather than implement it.
Tamashi - Okay, that makes sense. The rules seem a bit unclear, but I'll rule that if you managed to find some scrying magic to use, you could contact them. You're not sure if there are any sources of such magic in the palace or not.
Trey - She looks relieved and says, "Thanks. I've put pressure on it, but it won't stop bleeding." Even as the healing magic knits her flesh back together, you can see it still hasn't really closed the wound. Everyone who's been damaged by the shinobi notices that they too are covered in a ceaseless flow of blood.

Jorm still bleeding on his back as well can't reach to bandage it up looks to the others "I am sorry but I am trying to process everything here. I have spent the last decade or so in the north and the familiarity of politics here....well what is happening? Assassins have attacked nobles across the city and we are currently traveling with a noble, Tamashi? We are here to check on their family? Ehh perhaps we should move inside before another assassin realizes you are still alive?"
"Yes, we have two of their targets here with us. Tamashi and the Princess were both attacked, but thankfully she escaped as well."Trey says. "Our worry is now twofold... figuring out what exactly are the assassin's plans, did they try seizing power? And... Whether we want to be or not, we've all been very publically spotted seemingly killing one of their agents. I doubt whoever is behind this plot is going to go easy on us. Any of us."Trey finishes failing the tending of the princess' wound. Looking at the other injured. "Actually... a third worry is these injuries look really bad, we need to find a proper healer, or at least a place rest and to recover."

"It's worse than all that. Most of the nobles in the city are now dead. When people learn of that and learn that you 'killed' someone in the streets, they'll assume you were part of this whole plot. They'll hound you out of the city. That's why we need to talk to my adoptive mother, the queen. She can clear your name, or at least give you protection. There's a chance the families not in the city haven't been targeted yet, and she can help them too." With this, Aya turns and leads the way into a beautiful entrance hall. The hardwood floors gleam brilliantly enough to reflect the ornate lantern chandeliers and the walls, which have been painted and inlaid with gilt to show scenes from Mori Noya's history and legends. A few samurai come down a side hall to greet your group.

"I understand the current situation we're all dealing with, princess." Raiden nods as he follows her towards her domain. "Apologies for acting rash earlier on. I've also lived amongst similar people back in my dimension. Like the... ninjas... here... They were out for my blood so I found it extremely difficult to develop a mutual relationship to someone who offers to help out at first sight. And you said.. the queen..." He wags his tail inquisitvely as he politely bows to the samurai. "...she is your adoptive mother, if I heard correctly? Does that mean your entire family also fell victim to those scumbags?"
