He looked between his mother and his father and this his eyes moved to the little robot he had saved. It wouldn't last long and it would be back with a flower crown and someone else would have to save it. Though he had a feeling it would be him again once he returned home. He glanced at his father and gave a slight shake of his head.
"Dad... Roger is fine. I don't really think I need anyone if I hang out with him. He's always nice to me."
He didn't see what his father was so worried about. His tail twitched back and forth rapidly. A sign of irritation from the young tabaxi. Giving a slight shake of his head he moved towards the door. He had places to be today and thankfully it would be with friends so no need for any worry from his father about Roger.
"I am heading out to meet my party. I will see you guys later!"
He glanced back towards the small robot frowning slightly. The poor thing would be without him now. It was back in danger. He quickly headed out the door and headed towards the ice cream shop. He had been learning things about the sweet treat. He had discovered his favorite thing was caramel. A sweet and sticky substance that went nice over vanilla and chocolate. Stepping into the ice cream shop he glanced towards his party.
Ah... It would seem he was last to arrive. Seems he should have probably moved a bit quicker. He walked to the table to sit himself down with them.
"Sorry I'm late."
He wagged his tail slightly glad to see everyone. He never thought that he would be happy to be around so many people.
Hows life? Kuro blinked, giving Zephiro a blank stare. Life is... life. What more is there to say? He shrugs, but doesn't answer.
When Trick comes in, Kuro realizes that he wasn't the last one after all, but he can't decide whether or not thats a good thing or a bad thing. Then he looks to Zahira, realizing that she's probably ritual casting or something. He wonders briefly what she's casting, but dismisses the thought immediately. He'll probably find out once she's done. These people like to talk, so there was little chance that he'll be left out of the loop for long.
Flurry had begun to make cones for each of the children, Zahira had asked Arthur the student that was missing. Arthur had replied the kids name, "Len Pencross" is the name of the missing kid. He was a powerful sorcerer from what it seemed a second year.
Zahira uses her detect magic on the orbs, scrolls and tomes and it appears the schools of magic that were used were Transmutation and Necromancy schools. The book itself seems to have some celestial energy.. Tainted somewhat while the orbs only have those two schools of magic. The scrolls themselves seem to not have any magic on them only arcane scribbling prepped for magic that uses transmutation and necromancy. Kuro found himself to be the second to last member to arise only for the cheery Trick to find himself here last.
The group had a moment to catch up and Flurry only glanced at the weird things they had for a moment before smiling at the youth. Before Flurry could open his lips to say much of anything a loud crash of music could be heard across the street. The abandoned warehouse that Zim had seen before. Flurry let out a groan to hearing the loud screaming and music.
"I remember back in my day.. Music wasn't about who could scream the loudest. I apologize if this ruins the mood my friends please enjoy you're ice cream free of charge today!"
OOC If I forgot anything of course feel free to let me know ^~^
Zahira blinks and suddenly the view she had on her mind disappears. She removes her right hand from her forehead and lets it rest over the book while she readjusts to being in the "real world" again.
- That was ... beautiful ... the arcane weaving around magical items sure is beautiful- she says, gazing at the book again, which is now a perfectly normal book lying on a table. She shakes her head a little before speaking again.
- Well, there's no magic left in the scroll pieces, but what was inscribed on it where spells related to Transmutation and Necromancy. Those two same magic schools were used on the book and the orbs, but the book also contains traces of Celestial energy. But tainted somehow. That's weird. I mean, any magic user can wield Transmutation and Necromancy spells, but Celestial ... ? Don't you have to be a celestial creature to wield that kind of essence? That should reduce the number of culprit, shouldn't it?
(OOC: I'm not really sure if what I'm saying is true xD Does it make sense to you guys?)
In that moment she receives a text from Arthur and shares the info it contains with the party:
- I asked Arthur about the missing kid. Len Pencross is his name and it seems he's a powerful sorcerer. A second year. Do any of you know him? Perhaps Kuro...? Have you heard of him in your classes?
Then she remembers she had more info to share:
- Ah, by the way. Do you remember we found a piece of a letterman jacket in the cauldron? Well, if you remember, we all saw a half-orc and a blonde human wearing letterman jackets right? Some of us saw the half-orc making a little goblin trip. So, I've gathered a couple of details about them. The blonde guy is a senior jock named Jeremy Blades, he plays quarterback on the Blade Blitz team. He really doesn't actively bully others, but he doesn't really stop his half-orc friend. Also, his girlfriend is Penelope Cruz which is a draconic sorcerer, and also a senior.
She pauses for a moment and then adds:
- The half-orc is Roth. He's a barbarian and a line breaker for Blade Blitz and seems to be a vicious force on the field. I heard that in terms of raw brute force none of the other students even try to stand up to him. The teachers do get on his case, but his barbarian teacher insist he is channeling his rage to become a better barbarian - Zahira rolls her eyes, indicating her disaproval - Ah! And he seems to be particulary interested in bulling a certain goblin, pixie and gnome in the AV Club - she share's a glance with Zephyro - Yes! I know what you're thinking: that's the same pixie girl we saw the other day here. No wonder the poor thing feels the need to hide away from everyone...
(OOC: What is an AV club, by the way? Is this an English thing I don't know or something related to this campaign?)
- I mean. Roth's teacher wants him to better channel his rage to be a better barbarian? I think that is perfectly fine. But if you use it to bully people, then you're not a working on becoming a better barbarian... you are working on being an ******* - the air surrounding Zahira clearly manifests her opinion by getting stronger - And the same goes for Jeremy. He either is a coward that is afraid of standing up to his "friend". Or perhaps he just doesn't care, and that is worse, in my opinion.
The genasi artificer stops talking for a moment, and just takes the last bit of her ice cream.
- So, this is everything I could gather. What do you guys think? We should probably try to speak to this pixie girl, right? Or her other friends from that AV Club. I don't really feel like talking to Roth or Jeremy, to be honest. Ah...! I almost forgot. I heard these guys have some kind of weird "tension" with your senior friend, Aros. Not really sure what that tension is about. But Zim, perhaps you can delve further into this?
- In any case, I guess this is secondary to finding Len Pencross... Where should we even start to try to help find him?
AV club is short for Audio/Video club. These are the clubs where the students get into exploring things like student-run announcements and news programs or things like ham radios and whatnot.
I really wanted to bring up the warehouse to the group yesterday, but I got super sick right about the time that Kirai posted. I was so sick that my arms would freeze and hurt whenever I reached for the keyboard. I'm still sick today... but clearly not as sick.
(OOC: Thanks for the explanation! Sorry to to hear you were/are sick, take care! I think that the warehouse topic can still be added when you feel better, so no rush. In my case I didn't answer Flurry because my post was getting already too big/complex with the downtime info I needed to share)
Zim takes Zephyro's advice and sets his shield aside the table and then sits in the space the monk had made for him. "My grades? No, my grades have been slipping already. I know I have overloaded my workload, but I feel like it is really important and will pay off in the end. As for how life is going... I don't know that I can really say. Has anything unusual happen to any of you since the cafeteria fight? I have had my whole world turned upside down since then."
Seeing Kuro arrive, Zim waved and then turned back to the group once the sorcerer arrives at the table. Zim observed Zahira for a couple of moments while the others caught up and she finished her casting. When she had finished and gave the group her findings, the half-elf listened thoughtfully. Once Zahira had finished with her information dump, Zim waited a moment to ensure he wasn't about to talk over anyone else. Sure he was in the clear, he chimed in, "Is there a big letter stitched onto the jacket? The way letterman jackets work, to my understanding, is that anyone who is a member of the school can buy one, but only a member of a varsity team has earned the right to get the giant letter stitched on. The letter is usually the first name of the school or the name of the town the school is in. Since there are multiple competing schools in our town, we would be looking for a giant R or D or maybe RD for Rising Dawn. Whatever the case, if there is a letter stitched on, we can determine if the owner of the jacket had been actually a varsity member of a team or not."
Seeing Trick walk in as he spoke, he gestured for the ranger to join them, but then he continued, "As for talking to Eros, I will definitely do that. I spend a lot of time with him these days, and he might know something. He hasn't said anything about this Roth or Jeremy, but I think they have a problem with me too. They gave me some dirty looks the first day of school, but I might have figured that out also. The dragon girl, Penelope, talked to me on the first day and asked me to sign something regarding a school king and queen. I turned her down, and she returned to those other two. I think they were mad about tha-"
Zim's words had been cut short by the loud crash of music across the street. So there HAD been a reason he had heard music coming from the warehouse the first night KZZZT met at this shop. It didn't, however, explain why he had felt so uneasy when the colors he now saw took a seemingly dark and unsettling turn when he had looked at that warehouse. After Flurry spoke, Zim said, "Thank you very much Flurry!" Then he added to the rest, "Someone is up to something over there, and I have reason to believe it isn't just to play music loudly. Maybe we should check it out once we leave here? Oh, I apologize, I'm up for whatever you all are."
Zahira looks surprised at what Zim says about the letterman jackets:
- I really had no idea about that!- and she looks to the rest of the group - And what letter or letters did we find in the cauldron? I really didn't pay much attention to that.
Then she adds:
- School king and queen? Whaaaat....? I mean, is that really a thing? - she snorts - I'm sorry. Does that only sound stupid to me? And you say you turned down voting one that seems to want to be queen so badly to go asking for votes? Man, Zim,...that sounds brave, but yeah, those two bullies might not take it kindly.
She shakes her head in disbelief, thinking about the AV club kids and this:
- What is wrong with people, wanting to mess with the rest like that? Don't people have better things to do than go bullying others? In any case, Zim, if they ever try anything with you I say they'll have to take all of us into account.
When the bard brings the issue of the warehouse she nods:
- We can check, yes. Just ...let's be careful this time okay? Let's not repeat the cafeteria scene.
Zahira's thoughtfulness brought a slight smile to Zim's lips. "I'm sorry, I should have clarified about the king and queen thing. If I remember correctly, Penelope wanted me to sign a petition to bring back the tradition of having a Prom King and Queen. Apparently, Principal Forthwright ended the tradition, and that group is trying to get it reinstated. Isn't it always the school's varsity quarterback that wins that sort of thing? I'm not sure what a potential queen would need to do to win, but I see now why the girl was so upset. Also, thank you for your support. Hopefully none of us will have to deal with any of them if they look to start trouble."
When Zim responds, Zephyro gives a nervous chuckle. "Well like I said to Zahira, it's only the beginning of the year after all, there's still time to bump those grades up." Is he really the only one who's doing ok grade wise?
When Trick makes his way over, the young elf smiles, "No worries, you made it didn't you? Better late than never!"
His attention returns to the Genasi when she finally takes her hand away from her head. He listens intently to what she has found and what she thinks about it. "Transmutation and Necromancy mixed with Celestial."Hands folded in front of his face, the light reflecting off his glasses hides his eyes as he contemplates the information. "Well, there are several ways that could have happened. First off this book could have been imbued with Celestial magic, then tainted by whoever used it. We could also be dealing with a Celestial sorcerer who has studied Necromancy. Or any celestial blooded being for that matter, though from what you said, Celestial magic seems to be the lesser used type in this case? Hmmm." As he speaks he thinks to himself. Maybe I should have taken more time in the Wizard class...
Arcana to see if he would know of any specific reasons these three schools would be used together and/or what kind of person/class would be able to do so: 22 (nat 20!)
He falls silent again when Zahira explains what she knows about the missing student Len Pencross, Penelope, Jeremy, and Roth. He glances at Kuro when she asks him if he may have seen Len. Then he says, "Yeah, I remember those two. Honestly, I did think of them right after the ordeal at the cafeteria, I didn't figure the fact they they just happened to be bullies with letterman jackets to be a valid reason to assume they were responsible. Though it is enough reason to make me suspicious, so I agree that we should do some research on them." He scowls, "And I definitely agree that focusing his rage should not be about bullying. If I ever see him picking on any of them again I intend to step in. He'd better learn that beating up on those who are weaker than him won't make him any stronger." He clenches his fist. He can't help but feel a bit guilty for not standing up for that goblin kid when he saw Roth trip him on the first day. "And that Jeremy shouldn't be called a true friend if he is two much of a coward to tell the guy he hangs out with what's right and what's wrong."
Realizing what he is doing, he quickly opens his fist then adjusts his glasses, as Zim speaks up. Once the half-elf relays what happened with Penelope Zeph speaks up again, "Heheh, I second that Zahira." He give Zim a friendly punch to the shoulder, "I for one won't stand by and let anyone beat up on any my companions. You all can count on me to have your backs."
The young elf visibly cringes when the 'music' starts blaring. He nods to Flurry and gives him a pained look, "I agree with you. I've never understood the appeal of that kind of...noise." He smiles, "But I'll have you know, it won't stop me from coming back here. I sure won't let it ruin my mood." He raises his cone to the older genasi as if giving a toast.
Turning back to his companions he replies, "I agree, let's check it out...with caution. Heh, I'm willing to bet those two jocks are over there. Seems like the kind of thing they would be interested in."
The tabaxi smiled lightly. Seemed that it was fine that he was late. He would try to be better about it next time though. He listened to the talk around the table his ears twitching slightly. He gave a slight shake of his head at the name of the missing kid. He didn't know them. Actually the only reason he knew the names of the other students was because they were bullies. Seems like they liked to start rumors too.
"I suppose that is true!"
He had made it. Just in time to hear about everything that everyone was up to. He had been pretty busy himself though... He wasn't exactly doing well in school. The martial part of everything he wasn't too bad at. Testing however... Not so great. He had been keeping up with Roger, but that hadn't exactly been something he was doing for anyone but himself. He had tried listening around for rumors, but he became apart of those rumors it would seem. A big thing being that he was skulking around. He had been stalking after Sakimoto which... That was just... Weird at this point. It was interesting to see that the junior detective was following him as well. Every time they caught one another though they would just stare and then go their separate ways. No words ever spoken. Turns out... That just made things worse.
He wasn't really interested in relaying all that information though. If they had been listening to the rumors they probably had already heard about it anyway. He found it much easier to just listen to everyone else.
A lot of this did seem a bit dangerous. He glanced over everything that Zahira had used detect magic on. All of this stuff had come at a risk to these people. Seems they were willing to risk themselves again. Most would probably think of this as the perfect time to duck out. To leave and not get involved anymore. He wasn't that kind of person though. He would stick with them and try to find this missing kid even if that meant that he was putting himself in danger once again.
At least this time... He would be a little more useful. Having been able to pick up ranger spells from working with his mother.
The sound of music caught his ears, but it was loud. Annoying. His ears twitched hard and his tail puffed up. That was painfully irritating. He gave a soft growl. Who just played music that loud? Seems they wanted to check it out. He looked around at the group. Well... Hopefully it didn't end badly for them. He would of course help.
Zahira finds herself to be asking questions that help her understanding of the weave here, the celestial energy seems.. Raw. Casters can manipulate certain Celestial energy but raw unaltered energy without conjuration? Many believe a celestial wields that, of course something close to divine power is something Paladins and Clerics or Divine Sorcerer's use. Divine sorcerer's seem rather.. Rare and Kuro would know that sorcerer's with magic powerful and wild.. He isn't exactly common in Spiral himself. At least not in his class it would seem.
Kuro would have only seen Len in passing, he was a powerful draconian sorcerer, almost rivaling Penelope except he had the grit to deal with the dirtier aspects that she could not. He was quiet and to himself, and though students wished for him to be safe his disappearance didn't evoke anything emotional from the children except Linda seems.. Sharper now.
Zim was wise to look for initials but the letterman jacket piece sadly did not have any initials upon it. Zim wasn't wrong to compare his feeling before to this loud crash of metal but this new sound certainly wasn't as.. Sinister as the feeling before .
As Zahira explains the weave and arcana to Zephyro he's able to think for a moment on these schools. These empty orbs look like containers for arcana, they seem they can handle any type of arcana. Transmutation is changing the shape or nature of something, physical or magical. One can even change one's arcana.. One's shape and necromancy Zephyro knows it can affect the ebb of death.. And life. It can shift living life energy a very forgotten aspect of necromancy. Shifting lifeforce and death, changing the nature of something all combined with tainted celestial energy. Something seemed powerful off this aura.. This celestial energy was raw and almost.. Inhuman beyond what he's felt from any mortal even deeper than the aura Silas the old wizard himself could give off. Such raw concentrated amounts of arcana and yet it took a keen eye to sense it to feel it.
Flurry had smiled, and with Zephyro not even having to use his powers of insight could see Flurry was rather flattered he would still visit his ice cream shop despite the rabid noise.
Trick hearing these bullies name and the type of girl Penelope was. It wasn't unfair to think she spread these rumors, his friends have been so busy that they hadn't really heard much about it perhaps. The juicy gossip of Sakomoto and Trick, of course the exception being Zephyro as Himari would have told Zephyro that people think her brother "picked up a cat." Himari would think honesty the same thing unless Zephyro had told her otherwise. (Up to Zephyro)
Trick now prepared with magic at hand and his archery skills improved, eager to stand beside his allies as the newest standing member. From what the party can see (Without a perception/Investigation check) is windows high up, any climb to the top would take decent athletic ability. It may have a backdoor if they were to check behind perhaps and the music was deafeningly frustratingly loud. This would only get worse as they get closer to the warehouse.
OOC Thank you for explaining AV club Zim! And in American television AV kids are usually seen as the nerds and such (The kids in Stranger things for example haha)
I gave up a lot more than originally intended but can't deny that nat 20 AKA 22!
Before they head out, Zephyro explains his thoughts on the magics of the tome and the orbs. He's still not exactly sure what the caster was trying to accomplish with this spell, other than maybe overrunning the school with gremlins, but he's pretty satisfied with his discovery.
Zephyro glances up at the windows. Trick would probably be able to get up there, Zim and himself might be able to as well. But Zahira and Kuro? Probably not. Besides that it would look really suspicious if a passerby saw them climbing up the side of a building. "Let's continue around. I'm not sure climbing up is the best idea, but if there's not back door, Trick may have to climb up an peak inside. I could probably get up there, but Trick could probably be up and down before I'm halfway there... At least I'm assuming he can. He is a ranger, and...well...part tabaxi."
With that he continues around the building looking for the back door. He tries to do this stealthily as he's still worried about drawing attention to themselves. He does not want his party to look like they are about to steal something from this house, especially not when they have that tome in their possession.
Heading outside of Flurry's to look upon the warehouse, Zim felt hesitant yet somewhat relieved. These crashing sounds certainly were a disturbance, but they seemed to be missing the dark and foreboding quality that Zim had experienced. As they had moved a bit further forward, however, Zim felt as though another sensory "reaction" had started to flare up. Some other force or forces had definitely invaded the stimuli that was now washing over him.

Zephyro cringes visibly at the almost overwhelming pressure in his ears. What kind of music is this? And why would anyone purposefully assault themselves with it? Noticing his companions odd expressions he says, "Um. Are you two alright?" He almost has to yell in order to hear his own voice. Hopefully this noise was two much for those inside to hear.
He tries the door. Locked. "And do any of you know how to use Thieves tools?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
When the others look to him for information about the missing sorcerer... huh, well he should have put that together, but Len was a quiet type and thus easily ignored. Penelope on the other hand... not so much. He didn't like that girl. For multiple reasons which he would keep to himself.
"He didn't talk much, but he was...gifted I suppose," Kuro says, almost begrudgingly though still keeping his rather passive tone. "My teacher seems more alert now. Thats all I know." He shifts uncomfortably as the music starts up, and he spares a blank glance out the window before pulling up his hood as if to block out the noise. Great, his teammates were planning on searching for Len after all. Ugh. At least they don't know that his father is on the case too. Then they might expect him to ask questions to see if he'd found anything, and the last thing he wants is for Father to think he's on board with this. He'd never have any free time again.
He diverts his gaze when the others mention bullies and defending each other, staying utterly quiet. He'd seen that half-orc trip that other student, and his thoughts were much the same as they had always been. Just stay out of the way. If you get involved then you become a target yourself. It wasn't as if he could do anything to defend himself anyways, and he's had his fair share of bullying before coming here. A fist to the face wasn't pleasant--that was probably the only reason he'd discovered his strange healing ability... That had saved him from a lecture more than once.
Then, everyone decides to go check out that racket. "Is that really necessary?" he asks quietly, already expecting to be ignored. It seemed they were all determined to get to the bottom of this...even if the music seemed completely disconnected from the disappearances. He is the last one to stand up, and lets out a quiet sigh as everyone starts making their way towards the noise of music.
He isn't sure why he's bothering. He could just go home come to think about it. Perhaps he will if things escalate. He's not about to go trapesing through town searching for trouble. They might be training to be adventurers, but that doesn't make them qualified detectives. This was a job for the police, not kids. But, if all they are doing is checking out that noise then he supposed he can tag along for now. ...for now.
Perception:10
As soon as the music gets to loud, he stops, staring at everyone else as they cringe and inch towards the building in spite of their ringing ears. He has no intention of bursting his eardrums, so he hopes that they just turn around instead of trying to press forward.
(Will give those rolls if he's convinced to come closer. He's not fully on board with this lol so would stop before putting himself in danger.)
Zahira nods and smiles to Trick when the ranger states that he hopes they are more prepared this time, and then replies to Kuro.
- Necessary?I guess not. But life isn't just about doing the bare minimum, don't you think? I don't really know if that warehouse is connected to Len's disappearance. But imagine just for a moment that it was, and that it was you the one that is missing. Would you want people to do just the necessary? Or would you want them as involved as possible? - she doesn't mean to sound that she's giving the sorcerer a lecture. Not at all. She just wanst to explain her point of view - I'm not trying to force you to agree with me, Kuro, and I think I get the underlying message of your question - which is, to think on our safety, I believe? It's just ... I don't know ... I was taught to be curious, to try to go "beyond" and not stay put where I'm expected to be. So that's what I do. Also, I believe that we can help people with our abilities . Why not just do it?
Zahira really hopes she hasn't upset Kuro for saying all of this, but as she sees the rest already headed to the warehouse, she can't really wait for his response. So she just puts a hand on his arm for a second and says "shall we?", inviting him to follow, but will not stop from walking to the wharehouse if he decides not to follow.
When she approaches Zephyro and Zim and takes a look at the backdoor they've found, she says:
- I can try to use my thieves' tools to open it, yes - but as she's also caught by the deafening sound, she frowns feeling a little bit of pain - Damned noise! This complicates things! But guys I'm pretty sure there's people inside, but not near this door. So if we do manage to open it, I think it will give us a lot of leverage to check on them without being seen. We could even suprise them. Also, see those? - and she points at the almost faded footprints coming in and out of the wharehouse - There's really been a lot of movement in and out of this building.
Though she doesn't really want to move her hands from her ears, the genasi artificer has no other way of picking the lock or hearing her friends talking. So she exhales, takes the lockpick out of her backpack and begins trying to pick the door open.
- Wish me luck ...
(OOC: Got a 13 in the ooc thread. Is there any way to boost this? Did we get any kind of inspiration dice by eatin ice cream once again? A 13 seems a bit low :/)
Kuro, a little surprised when Zahira actually responds to his quiet question, gives her his usual blank stare. Imagine that he was the one missing? Well if that was the case he wouldn't expect anyone to come after him. ...well except for his parents. Maybe, who knows what Father would do. Half of him wondered if Father would just wait and expect him to free himself, but Father would probably more likely do just as much if not more to find him then he is doing now to find Len. But still, that was his parents. Parents are supposed to do stupid things for their kids. Police are supposed to do smart things for missing people. Kids, who don't even know the missing person, were not supposed to do anything aside from maybe worry about the missing person. Taught to be curious? Try to go 'beyond'? Why not help people? Ugh, she sounds like his mother, and a little like his father too for that matter...which he wasn't sure how to feel about.
He huffs, "Fine." And hesitates a long moment before inching his way closer to the building. He keeps his hood up, but also puts his hands over his ears. This is so stupid. Maybe they should just call the cops and file a noise complaint. These people were definitely disturbing the peace, so it would be a valid reason to report them... at least, if that was a thing in this neighborhood. Then again, he wouldn't want to be the person to call the cops. He wouldn't want to give his name. So, he stands silently, deaf since he's blocked his ears against the noise, and watches blankly as Zahira attempts to pick the lock. Mentally, a few other options come to mind. His father never was one for finesse, such as was required for lock picking, but he was quite adept at breaking things, or blowing them up, or otherwise destroying them. ...something Kuro had watched him do several times with even the most simple spells. Heat and cold could cause a lot of damage to everyday items, even if the wielder wasn't necessarily trying to break anything. He knew that from personal experience. Still, he won't try this unless he has to. Simple spell or not it was still magic, and he really wasn't sure if he wanted to get in here. Perhaps if they can't get the door open they'll give up and move on. ...besides, casting a spell like that would require he remove his hands from his ears, and judging from the tremors coming from the building, he had a feeling he would dearly regret that.
(OOC: I'm wondering if using frostbite or firebolt could either break (by freezing), or melt, the lock enough to where we could get the door open. Could pair it with mage hand if melting it is required and the need to push some molten metal around becomes necessary lol. Course, Kuro isn't going to offer this up immediately, but I thought I would ask anyways to see how the DM feels about this option. :D )
Also did Kuro do the saves since he got close enough now? (Sorry if I missed them)
As for his hands covering his ears he can make the save with advantage but he'll notice the hands alone aren't enough to prevent this loud noise. (Even poor stealth roll went unnoticed due to the sounds) but I'd say it can give advantage!
Also to melt the lock but not just jam the door up I'd say may take a bit of finesse.
So either an Arcana check or a spell casting check (You're raw charisma modifier) DC 15
The thieves tools however is also a DC15 so if you wanna use the ice cream D6 I just gave everybody you can do that as well ^~^

If I forgot anything of course feel free to let me know ^~^
Zahira blinks and suddenly the view she had on her mind disappears. She removes her right hand from her forehead and lets it rest over the book while she readjusts to being in the "real world" again.
- That was ... beautiful ... the arcane weaving around magical items sure is beautiful - she says, gazing at the book again, which is now a perfectly normal book lying on a table.

- I really had no idea about that! - and she looks to the rest of the group - And what letter or letters did we find in the cauldron?

Thanks For the well-wishes!
"Transmutation and Necromancy mixed with Celestial." Hands folded in front of his face, the light reflecting off his glasses hides his eyes as he contemplates the information.

Thank you for explaining AV club Zim!

- Necessary? I guess not.

You all could can get a D6 from the ice cream!
So either an Arcana check or a spell casting check (You're raw charisma modifier)
DC 15
The thieves tools however is also a DC15 so if you wanna use the ice cream D6 I just gave everybody you can do that as well ^~^
