Zephyro feels his face get hot in response to Zahira's reaction to his name. Perhaps he shouldn't lead with it. Zahira didn't introduce herself with her full name, so he supposes it isn't necessary. This genasi girl is certainly a breath of fresh air (pun intended) compared to the stiff, stuffy nobles he's used to. He raises a hand and chuckles, "Oh no, no bowing please." Smiling he says, "Well I'm glad I'm not the only one. I would have been late myself if not for my sister."
At that moment he feels his crystal buzz. Pulling it from his pocket, his smile fades when he sees his father's text. As much as he would like to ignore it he knows he will likely regret that decision when he gets home. So, he simply says. "Of course father." and leave it at that. His expression lightens again as he scrolls down to see the next text to which he replies. "Twilight! It's been a bit since I heard from you! I'm in White Haven now about to sign up for classes. Thank's and good luck to you as well! I'll have to catch up with you a bit more later!"
He puts the crystal back in his pocket just in time to witness the orc trip the goblin then walk away laughing. The elf frowns at this interaction but is distracted by the music coming from the half-elf and soon a ram-horned boy. This brings his smile back as he walks over to talk to Nathanial Williams' class. Zephyro takes the clipboard just as Zahira starts talking again.
"Oh sorry about that." He laughs, "I should have asked you the same thing. I'm actually just auditing this class. Magic is fascinating and all, but my interest is more focused on martial arts." He looks down at the clipboard and fills out whatever information is needed to audit the class then hands it back to the wizard. "Would you mind pointing me to the Monk classroom?"
"No problem." he laughs, "Though I think Professor Williams was more help to you than I was.... Oh sure!" He pulls out his crystal and copies her contact. "It was a pleasure to meet you Zahira Etesian. I'll text you after school. Good luck to you as well!" He waves as she takes off to her classroom.
The woman had sighed of relief looking at her strange concoction, it was a blueish green before turning into a subtle purple. Zahiria had came behind her rather calmly it would seem. The teacher had turned around with a light smile.
Ahh, hello! Don't worry I did hear you walking but I am grateful. Sometimes I find myself lost in another world! Hehe, so... If I may ask dear. Are you here for my classes perhaps? I always am excited to see new first years grow! Go ahead and sign up on the clipboard of my desk. Also you should know that students who can't afford tinkering tools or make them quite yet are allowed to use the classrooms tools. You may even use them a few hours after schools ends but not after we lock up at night. I look forward to having you! Classes won't start till after the assembly in the gym. You can eat breakfast at the cafeteria first or just head on over if you prefer.
She had seemed light hearted and her tone was rather bubbly for that of an artificer who took her craft seriously. The classroom was full of different projects and some even on her desk many half complete projects and while some parts were neat and organized other aspects were clearly left a mess of tools.
Kuro
Kuro had avoided the half elf and his show as well as the brute's antics. Heading to the school it had took him a bit but eventually he was able to find the classes for the sorcerer's. "Linda Wright" was the name on the plaque and inside he could see a woman fast asleep upon her desk. With a cup of coffee in a plastic container and her desk strewn out to be a mess. If Kuro would walk in he would even hear light snoring.
(Her appearance)
Zephyro
He than had received a buzz back in that moment, rather quickly but it was not from his father. Instead it was Twilight responding to his text. "You're in White Haven!? No way! What school? You're so smart I bet you went to Larex huh? Knowing you're parents I'm sure they pushed for Larex. I'm actually in White Haven too isn't that crazy? Sorry if I don't respond right away! I gotta sign up for classes than hurry up to the assembly!"
Nathaniel had saw the air genasi run off, though it was faint he had a small smile creep across his face shaking his head with a subtle chuckle. He had turned to see Zephyro's ask for the monk classroom.
"Ahh, I see I've turned into the makeshift directory of sorts haven't I? Well if I may guide you so.."
Nathaniel had begun to instruct Zephyro where one may find the monk classroom from here. It wasn't as close as the artificer classroom was in fact it was almost across the entire school.
"I warn you, Danny he is.. Well he is rather loud, but he does have a good heart. Many kids have dropped out of his class before, he can be... A lot admittedly. Just be lucky you didn't get into bard class eh? I believe I should let you know we are having an assembly. At the assembly the principal will have a speech and you will form a party. A party may have no less than four but no more than six. If you are famished the cafeteria is open for breakfast as well and with that I wish you good luck."
OOC I may wait a minute to give Zim a bit to catch up ^~^
Zephyro feels his Chrystal buzz, but refrains from checking it just yet. He hates being that person who's texting while someone right in front of him is speaking. He laughs at the wizards comment. "Well, I'm sure I can handle him. I don't sign up for anything I don't intend to follow through with. Thank you for your help, and I look forward to auditing your classes." He grins, "It's also good to know my sister will be in good hands when she starts attending."
After waving goodby to Nethaniel, the young elf rushes to find the Monk classroom. On his way he pulls out his Chrystal and reads Twilight's text. "Wait really? What a coincidence! Actually, I'm at Rising Dawn Academy. How about you? And no worries! Turns out I went to the wrong side of campus so I gotta hurry to make it to the assembly on time!"
Putting his Chrystal away he picks up the pace. There's no way he's going to miss signing up or the assembly.
Kuro pushes open the door only to find the teacher sleeping. He pauses a moment, staring at the snoring figure at the desk with an uninterested expression. After a few moments of standing there, he lets the door close behind him and walks up to the desk, scanning it to see if he can find the clipboard. If Miss Wright wakes up, well he'll just tell her the truth. He's signing up for her class...unfortunately.
If he can find the sign up sheet, he will pull out a pen and write down his name. Once that's done, he glances about the empty chairs and debates on whether or not to just find a seat in the corner. There he would pull out his notebook and do some sketches or something in attempt to keep his boredom away. But of course, someone else will eventually come into the classroom, and the last thing he wants is to become known as the class nerd who showed up early.
If he can't find the sheet, he will stand there for a second, looking down at the sleeping teacher before saying, "Excuse me." However many times it takes to wake her up.
Zahira felt a lot more relaxed after professor Geyser's welcome. She was finally where she was supposed to be and about to do the one thing she was so anxious about: signing up for the correct class.
- Yes! Exactly! I'm here to sign up and can't wait for the classes to start. From what uncle Plash has told me, I think the little knowledge I already have will truly expand here in the Academy.
The air genasi girl was genuinely excited and had to make an effort to not take a closer look what the professor was working in and at all the curious projects that were on the class tables. The danger of forgetting everything else was too high and she didn't want to miss the assembly.
- I'm really curious at what the other students have been working on buuuut... I'd say it's better not risking missing the assembly.
She took the clipboard and began writing her name:
- ...Zaaaaa..hiii...raaa..Eteee...siaaan - she mumbled while writing - There! Done! Phew ... I did fear I would mess up and not be able to actually signing up! I'll leave you with your experiment, professor. See you latter!- she offered the curious fox-lady bright smile and went away, a little less rushed than before signing up. She was not late anymore after all.
(OOC: is there anything I can roll to know actually what is the race of the professor? O is she just a magically disguised human? Intelligence maybe? 15)
Walking through the academy corridors, Zahira wondered how Zephyro was doing. He said he wanted to study Martial arts, and that had been surprising, as he looked more like a student of the arcane than a martial artist. Also, she didn't quite imagine a high noble like him fighting his way with his fists. "His parents must be really understanding, to allow him to do this. Unless he's going against their wishes...like me". She thought of texting him about the assembly, but she had left him and Professor Nathaniel so quickly that she had forgotten to get his contact.
- Oh, well. Hopefully I'll meet him there.
As she seemed to have time enough to have a propper breakfast, she headed to the cafeteria with the intention to grab an orange juice and a piece of fruit. She had to go back to the Artificery class to ask professor Geyser where the cafeteria actually was, and when she told her, she went straight there.
She looked for a table to sit, preferably one with not too many people on it. While she was not exactly shy, she felt more comfortable meeting new people in fewer numbers at a time...
(OOC: I will roll perception just in case to find a table in the cafeteria that has one or two persons max in it. 8
If she finds that kind of table, Zahira will engage in conversation while having breakfast. If there are no tables or they are too full she will probably eat it in the courtyard and then go to the gym for the Assembly. She will look every once in a while to see if she finds the only person she knows so far, Zephyro.)
Zim immediately picked back up the melody as he realized how many of the others had started to join in. He also instantly regretted it. He couldn't believe what he was doing! It felt to him as though each note he whistled somehow directly fueled this mob, this fire, and also stoked its flames. Afraid now of somehow screwing up the entire thing and embarrassing himself in front of all of these people, he felt himself trapped by the performance; helpless to escape this madness until his number was over. With the introduction of the other musician, however, Zim leaned into his performance and gave up all of his worries to just have fun with it all. He and the ram-horned youth played off of each other until playing their final triumphant note.
As he gave a beaming smile of approval and gratitude to his musical companion, Zim had realized that he had been addressed by a young woman.
"Haha, um, yes...Penelope is it? I have some musical ability, I guess. What I'm really interested in though is polit... wait, what did you just say!?"
It was only then that he had started to look around and see the crystals being put away. Zim froze stiffly as he felt the heat rise up into the tips of his pointy ears. Somewhat under his breath while maintaining his smile he asked,
"I don't suppose you were asking because you happen to know where I need go to do that, were you?"
He couldn't think of a thing he was supposed to do anymore. Zim just knew he didn't want to hang around this area another minute!
As Zephyro heads out he his met with a quiet wave farewell by the wizarding teacher. Texting back to his friend Twilight there is no immediate response. He is able to make it to the monk class however. (Roll me athletics to see how quickly ^^)
Upon reaching the class at post haste to save on time they see a man in the class room. With plenty of training dummies, dummies that appear to be.. Moving? Attacking? There is no desk nor any chairs and the room is massive almost like a makeshift dojo. The dummies begin to attack at this man, he appears to be well built and against the idea of wearing a shirt would seem. There does appear to be a desk and chairs but they all are all pushed aside upon closer inspection. A small canary sat upon one such desk
Duck weave and move the man begins to move almost as if he was slipping about. A staggering fighting style as he promptly avoided a few more blows before kicking and punching one of these apart. Avoiding another blow from behind as he through the animated puppet to the ground stomping it out. The last one had managed to graze his face a bit as he kicked it's legs apart with his own. Using this break of balance to push forward with a resounding uppercut splintering the living doll apart.
"Hell yeah! Twiddle was that a new record?"
"Chirp!"
"Yeah.. I really should hire a real assistant ya know.. With thumbs? Aww well! Still not a bad morning work out at least!"
Put your spoiler here.
(Monk Teacher appearance)
Kuro
As Kuro began to look for a clipboard he would find that it was unfortunately underneath this sleeping woman. It took a couple shakes while calling out to her before she had rolled over a moment. It was clear she heard him the first time but was slow to rising. After a moment she had risen up in her desk yawning loudly.
"Hell yeah, that was a good nap. Coulda been longer, let me guess you're here to sign up huh? Before the assembly I see.. Ya know being a sorcerer you don't have to be so diligent ya know? Here's the clipboard kid, also you might wanna head to the gym afterwards. You'll..
She had stretched her arms out yawning loudly once more before cracking her neck a bit.
"You'll be forming a party after the speech."
Zahira
The teacher had giggled lightly with a hand on her hip upon hearing this new students enthusiasm
"That's the spirit! We work hard in here! Still I expect you all to have time enough for you're own projects too. I would never stifle one's curiosity or creativity! Huhu~"
"That doesn't mean I want any slacking off however! This isn't the sorcerer classroom after all we do have a reputation for working diligently! Good luck to you! And may you choose you're party well after the assembly!"
After gaining instructions to the cafeteria she is able to ponder the race of Solace Geyser. She appears to have the air of a Kitsune except she was lacking the fur. Kitsune were of fey decent and appeared more like actual foxes after all. Yet she had very human features hadn't she? Perhaps she was a half breed of sorts? It'd be hard to say without gaining more information on the matter. One could only craft a theory.
Upon entering the cafeteria her senses weren't particularly sharp in that moment, it had taken her quite some time to find the table she had wanted. Her wandering back and forth eyeing for the perfect table had caught her a few strange looks but she had indeed found the table that met her standards far in the corner.
Heading to the cafeteria she is able to get herself a bit of a breakfast. It takes her a bit before she heads to one of the tables the table has two other students in it. One was rather quiet and had a strange tone of skin to her her clothing too was rather exotic. She had a blade and an arm bracer of sorts that served as a shield.
Put your spoiler here.
(Female student appearance)
The second however had a rather friendly expression, he had even waved openly to Zahira but he had done so with each passing student. A few students had even waved back while others had simply ignored him. He wore a rather fanciful white suit with a longsword on his side and a shield on his back. He had begun to eat his food, which aside from the fruit at this cafeteria any free food was.. Less than ideal it was more of a mush rather. Strange that he had such a fine suit only to eat a mush in his bowl. He had soft blonde hair and bright grin eyes and a sort of zest for life in his smile.
Put your spoiler here.
Zim
Zim's horned companion had offered him a smile, a bit of a nervous chuckle as the two played forth and back. He had clapped his feet upon the ground in his long jeans he appeared to be a few years older than the other students. He didn't seem to be a freshman, as the song ended he had began to walk toward Zim. However when Penelope had cut him off? The horned man had offered a silent wave as he began to head toward the school. (Feel free to roll insight here if you want ^^)
Put your spoiler here.
(His appearance)
Penelope had giggled a bit as he looked around upon the crystals around as he asked about bard class she nodded.
"Yeah I know! Before you go wanna sign a paper for me? To bring back the tradition of prom queen and king. Mr Silas got rid of it a few years back but it'd be fun to have back dont cha think? Also like.. It'd totally make the prom actually cool again, you get it right? Also after you sign up for class you know we have the assembly right? Probably not Mr Forthright leaves the first years in the dark a lot. He says it helps us grow our curiosity and to explore the answers for ourselves. Weird right? I mean it is a school he should be giving us more to go on am I right?"
If Zim would sign her petition she will direct him of where to go, if he'd rather find it alone however he can search for himself. (Roll perception)
It took Kuro a few moments to resort to shaking the annoying teacher, but it was better then trying to yell at her.
When she mentions diligence, he lets out a quiet snort. Diligence...as if. He'd been under the impression that they had to sign up for classes now...thanks to Father. Oh well, if its done now that means he doesn't have to do it later.
He takes the clipboard from her and scribbles down his name. For a moment, he considers misspelling his last name...not wanting her to see it and expect 'great things' from him due to who his father is. But he instead resorts to making it barely legible. Hopefully she will be to lazy to notice. If he's lucky, she'll be to lazy to give him homework to... maybe he got lucky with his professor after all.
That small glimmer of hope died at the mention of and assembly and...'forming a party'. It wasn't nervousness that overtook him...not really. Regardless, he had no intention of going to this assembly if he can help it. "Is...that required?" He says in a low voice, his tone sounding more bored then anything.
Zephyro had not known what to expect of a monk's classroom. Hearing the ruckus inside he enters quickly and smiles, this was beyond any expectations he had. Animated dummies for opponents? Brilliant. He watches the fight intently, and does not speak up until the fight is over. Once it is, the young elf makes his way over to the shirtless man and his bird friend. "That was truly amazing. I've never seen anyone fight with such skill." This is true, as Zephyro has never actually seen anyone fight at all. "My name is Zephyro, I'm here to sign up for classes." He glances over at the desk, looking for the clipboard.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zim didn't want to make any decisions at all just now. Sign something now? He didn't want to sign anything, but he didn't want to hang about trying to figure out where to go either. Not knowing what else to do, he tried to put on a little charm.
"I apologize, I do not mean to offend. Could we perhaps talk about it another time? Perhaps at lunch? (Persuasion 11) I'm all out of sorts, and the only thing I want to sign right now is up for my classes. What do you say?"
"Oooookay, everyone is looking at me. Damn damn damn, pick a table already, girl!", Zahira thinks while blushing under the gaze of all those eyes upon her.
When she sees the blond and friendly looking boy waving at her, she instantly smiles back and rushes to his unkowing saviour.
- Hi! May I sit with you? Please? - she waits a few seconds for the two students approval, but ends up sitting anyway rather quickly as she feels the urge of averting the other students looks - I'm Zahira, by the way, and I'm new nere. Are you two as well? I've just enrolled in the artificer's class and Professor Geyser said something about ... forming a party? Do you know what's that about? How is the party formed? Do you simply pick people by yourself or are they assigned by professors somehow? And do we have to work together for the rest of the academic year, or are the parties supposed to be changed at some point?
She then freezes, realizing that she has been asking a lot of questions to a couple of strangers almost without breathing.
- Oh, sorry, too many questions, right? I tend to do that a lot - she adds, while facepalming.
Kuro was not wrong in his thought process, at least it had appeared the other kids were all heading into classes and signing up. However looking to the clipboard he see's that he is the first student to sign up. How could that of been? As she takes the clipboard back from Kuro she studies it for a moment before looking back at Kuro. Her eyes narrowed only for a moment before she yawned once more. She had raised an eyebrow to the boy asking if it was required the woman had let out a small chuckle.
"Heh.. I know it can be a pain, the teachers have to show up to. It's honestly a drag but hey.. What can you do right? If you're worried about getting lost I'll walk you on over."
The way she had smiled lightly, it had given a sorta aura to it. It seemed as this woman wasn't one to smile often and despite her smile her tone was still rather monotone and lazy aside from the chuckle she had opened with. Standing up she had given another long stretch as she opened the classroom door ready to guide Kuro if he would so desire.
Zim
Penelope had looked at Zim tilting her head a bit, at first she appeared in fact slightly offended however he managed to somewhat dissuade this expression. Wrinkling her nose slightly as she offered another perky smile. It was clear with his insight she was slightly hurt but she had made a reason to why he couldn't sign it right now. As for reading the male from before? It had appeared he was eager to meet Zim after the performance but however had decided against doing so after she had approached him. He had even offered her a somewhat strange look before heading back in.
"Sure! I mean you probably want to read the whole thing when you got time right? Sounds good! Well I'll see you later!"
When Zim begins to head to class using his instinct and perception to find his class he passes by the two boys that were talking to her earlier. The tall blonde male with a letterman jacket and blue eyes had offered a wave. The orc beside him however? Well for one upon closer inspection it was clear he was actually a half orc but more importantly he was giving Zim a rather intense stink eye as he head into the school. With sharp senses he is able to find his classroom with relative ease, inside is a man playing a yarting it would appear. He seemed to be talking to a female student in that room she appeared to be an elf possibly a wood elf for that matter. She had giggled lightly as he smiled playing her a melody.
(Appearance except for the fact he is also a half elf)
On his side was also two short swords along with a rapier on the side, a lot of blades for a bard it would seem. After the song the young woman had begun to leave the classroom the classroom's plaque had the teachers name upon it. Roger Williams
Zephyro
Zephyro had sprinted dashed and slid through the halls with relative ease while making rather great time! Danny had turned around to see the young elf enter, he had wiped under his nose with a wide smirk. His bird chirping around Zephyro excitedly.
"Ahh, it's just a morning work out but thanks! You'll be fighting like that soon! A week.. Maybe two tops! Heh! Than Gremory will have to admit I am the greatest teacher! Him and that jerk Nathaniel! Once my students take all the glory! Hah! You'll be in tip top shape in no time! I have so many questions for you, like what monastery tradition do you want to study? Are you in touch with Ki? Do you understand Ki? Do you know who master Jungqwol is? (You may roll history to see how much you know. You can PM me it and I can tell you if you desire ^^)
"But first you got the assembly! Well.. You made it here fast it seems you've got time course you'd probably rather eat breakfast huh? Well go ahead and sign the clipboard it's on the desk, Twiddle will show you!"
With a gleeful chirp the bird had flown over to the desk pecking at the clipboard for Zephyro to see. Not that it was hard to miss as there wasn't many papers on the desk to begin with.
Zahira
The blonde male had rubbed the back of his head with a chuckle, with the faintest blush of red upon his cheeks before fading. He had nodded eagerly to her offer.
"Sure! I don't see why not! Nice to meet to meet cha! Wow you're pretty! Wait.. Is that offensive to say to a genasi? I have never met one like you.. I remember back in Burguss we had an earth genasi! Cobble looked very different from you though. Wait.. Are you a Genasi? Man I'll feel real stupid if I got that wrong!"
He had offered a playful laugh as Zahira had begun to introduce herself to him. The woman had offered a faint smile to Zahira as she introduced herself to them both.
"Oh yeah my name haha jeez, the name's Arthur! Arthur Chevalier it's a pleasure! Geyser? I don't think I know that teacher! My teacher is Rein Astera! Oh yeah he told me about forming a party it's straight forward! Just the way I like things honestly. After the assembly speech you just go around in the Gym asking to join a party. That way you can choose a party that covers you're weakness's and such! He said a party can't be less than four but can't be more than six either. Also we are supposed to work together for the rest of the year but we can make party changes if we ask for them.. I think anyway?"
The girl with the strange tone of skin had opened her crystal she had smiled softly, she had begun to text on her phone but before she could finish Arthur had cleared his throat a bit. Her eyes fluttering a bit as she looked back up to them both.
"She introduced herself to both of us ya know."
Despite sounding like a lecture his smile was still warm and his tone rather gentle. The girl had chuckled nervously as she stuck her tongue out.
"Oh I'm Himari Sato! Oh and don't worry about the questions! I mean.. I was just oblivious to the world for a bit hehe.. It's no sweat! Yeah party's can be changed but it has to be for good reason and approved by Mr Forthright.. The principal. I only know cause my brother is a senior here, otherwise things like that aren't shared. It's the adventuring academies way of forcing us to gain information. Apparently it's what adventurer's used to do? I know it frustrates most of the students but personally I enjoy the challenge.
"Haha, says the one who had her brother tell her!"
"Oh hush! It's a pleasure to meet you Zahira! We should probably get going to the assembly here soon but here's my number I mean.. If that's okay if not I understand."
"That's a great idea! Here's my contact info!"
"Arthur.. You should at least give a lady a chance to decline respectfully..."
"Why? Were all friends now right?"
"I've known you for an hour at most and you just met her!"
"Oh yeah! Here's my number too Himari!"
"I-I.. Okay."
She had hung her head low a bit defeated at trying to explain further to Arthur. He had taken both of their phones (unless she wants to make an opposed athletic's check) and added his number to both crystals. Himari however will simply write her name on a napkin offering it too Zahira before the two of them stood up offering a smile and a wave.
OOC Zim still has meeting his teacher but after that we should be able to head to the assembly scene. Does anyone else wanna snoop around the school more however?
Also for all of those that ate breakfast at school and had time to you gain a D6 inspiration that'll last till next long rest! Can be used for an ability check, attack roll, damage roll, saving throw or even can use it to raise you're AC with reaction from an attack.
Upon seeing the two and the performance, any interruption was clearly out of the question. Also, was this guy flirting with a student? Zim felt that his best chance of achieving his goals, to one day navigate through the upper circles of politics to be of some use to his father and maybe even this world, was to hone the skills of diplomacy and wit. He reveled in stories that spoke of court bards who entertained, sure, but who were also full of intrigue and political maneuvering that really moved road blocks and brought peace. Of course that wasn't how the real world played out, but the skills he heard he might be able to gain excited him greatly. Unfortunately, he had also heard many things in his research that he did not like at all. Bards playing in taverns and running with the lowliest of characters and, of course, who hadn't heard that most of these bards were usually just doing it all for a piece of... Deciding that he had most certainly lost any claim to knowing what this day would hold for him long ago, Zim turned his attention to the swords. in particular, he gazed upon the rapier.
Kuro hopes that whoever comes in to sign up after him doesn't take the time to read the previous names. That's the last thing he needs...to look overeager. Who knows, maybe he'll get lucky and no one else will sign up. Well, he'd be lucky if that happened and resulted in the class getting canceled anyways. The last thing he wants is to end up one on one with any teacher.
He lets out a light huff, "If you want to I guess." They were heading in the same direction anyways, but he also didn't want others to think that he was sucking up to this teacher. Being thought of as the teacher's pet would be even worse then being thought of as a nerd.
He stuffs his hands back into his pockets as he walks through the door. If she still wants to guide him to the assembly he'll follow her. If not, well he'll figure it out himself. At least if he gets lost he'll have a valid excuse to miss it.
(Well, I rolled terribly on that and got a 7 soooo. I was gonna PM you but with that roll i'mma guess he's not going to remember much. lol)
The young elf is caught a bit off guard by all this teacher's questioning. "Well..."He starts, "To be completely honest, I'm not really sure. Everything I know about the arts I've learned from reading and studying forms. For all I know I could be studying multiple different traditions. That said I figured I'd just go with whatever tradition seems to fit me the best. As for Ki..."He looks a bit embarrassed. "Like I said, I've never had formal training so I'm not sure if I understand it or not."He smiles, "But I'm sure I will after a few lessons." He thinks for a moment again, trying to remember if he's read anything about this master Jungqwol. He's usually good with names, but at the moment his mind is drawing a blank. "I've probably read something about Jungqwol, but I can't remember right now."
"Man this must look bad,"he thinks, "I can't even tell him what tradition I want to study."
When the little bird flies over to the clipboard, Zephyro quickly picks it up and neatly signs it. When he does so, he will look to see if anyone else has signed up yet. "I was in such a rush to get here that my memory's a bit fuzzy." "Not to mention the last thing I read were those boring documents my parent's gave me."Heh, maybe I'll be able to answer your questions better after I've eaten a bit more."He sets the clipboard back down, remembering that all he had to eat that morning had been an apple and some cheese.
(If he has time, Zephyro will go get a small breakfast before the assembly, if not then he'll skip it.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"OMG, did he say I'm pretty?? OMG. O....M....G... Say something, quickly."
- Oh ... hummm... thank you ...- the genasi replies, blushing - ... you don't look so bad yourself! Hehehe!
"NOT THAT!"
Zahira quickly continues talking in the hopes the nice blond boy forgets what she has just blurted out.
- Soooooooo, yes, I'm a genasi. Air genasi specifically - she says, while pointing towards her hair, which is moving like there was a breeze in the cafeteria which in truth only exists around her - My mother is an air genasi and my father an uncle are water ones. Me and my little brother inherited our mother's element. We are from Burguss too, by the way! Though.... nope... I don't recall ever meeting any earth genasi so far. Nor fire, for that matter.
When Arthur mentions his surname, Zahira her eyes widen and thinks "boy, am I meeting 'la crème de la crème' of the nobility in just a few minutes?". Strangely enough, she keeps that one for herself instead of blurting it out and listens to their conversation about sharing crystal contacts, giggling happily.
- You seem very nice, the two of you. Of course you can have my contact - she says while sharing it with Arthur, taking Himari's napkin and then writing her own name and number in another napking that gives to her in exchange - Be seeing you!
She waves them goodbye and stays a few minutes more in the table, until she finishes her breakfast. Before leaving, she checks once again for Zephyro but will leave right away for the gym if she doesn't see him. (Perception to look for him: 19)
Zephyro feels his face get hot in response to Zahira's reaction to his name.
(Woops musta been typing when you posted this!)
Zahiria
OOC
I may wait a minute to give Zim a bit to catch up ^~^
Zephyro feels his Chrystal buzz, but refrains from checking it just yet.
See you latter! - she offered the curious fox-lady bright smile and went away, a little less rushed than before signing up.

Portrait of Zim
Zephyro

OOC
OOPS! I totally missed the first part of zim's part somehow. here is my insight roll:

Kuro

OOC
Zim still has meeting his teacher but after that we should be able to head to the assembly scene.
Treat it as a Valor Bard D6 inspiration ^^
"Well..." He starts, "To be completely honest, I'm not really sure. Everything I know about the arts I've learned from reading and studying forms. For all I know I could be studying multiple different traditions. That said I figured I'd just go with whatever tradition seems to fit me the best. As for Ki..." He looks a bit embarrassed. "Like I said, I've never had formal training so I'm not sure if I understand it or not." He smiles, "But I'm sure I will after a few lessons." He thinks for a moment again, trying to remember if he's read anything about this master Jungqwol. He's usually good with names, but at the moment his mind is drawing a blank. "I've probably read something about Jungqwol, but I can't remember right now."
"Man this must look bad," he thinks, "I can't even tell him what tradition I want to study."
When the little bird flies over to the clipboard, Zephyro quickly picks it up and neatly signs it. When he does so, he will look to see if anyone else has signed up yet. "I was in such a rush to get here that my memory's a bit fuzzy." "Not to mention the last thing I read were those boring documents my parent's gave me." Heh, maybe I'll be able to answer your questions better after I've eaten a bit more." He sets the clipboard back down, remembering that all he had to eat that morning had been an apple and some cheese.
(If he has time, Zephyro will go get a small breakfast before the assembly, if not then he'll skip it.)
"OMG, did he say I'm pretty?? OMG. O....M....G... Say something, quickly."
- Oh ... hummm... thank you ... - the genasi replies, blushing - ... you don't look so bad yourself! Hehehe!
