Wait, are you a warlock or a sorcerer? You have eldritch blast but also Metamagic... not possible.  If you took the Magic Initiate feat, you couldn't have gotten eldritch blast (warlock's not on that list) and if you took Metamagic Adept you would only have gotten two sorcery points.

Eldritch Adept. It's a feat, look it up.

I actually obtained it from spell sniper. I do have Eldritch adept as well for an invocation of my choice.

One thing about playing Level 20 characters ... there's not many opportunities to do so, so there's usually stuff going on that's unfamiliar.

Another 21 damage.

Now that I know the trees are only 30 feet tall, there's no reason to draw this out. I have the ability to pretty much live forever, but if you have the ability to fly forever, this fight will never end, and what's the fun in that? I guess I forfeit. Next time, put a deep cave in the rocky section, DM. LOL

Here's a lesson to the rest of you: Make sure you're ready for a ranged battle as well as melee.

Now I know why some DMs don't allow flying PCs.

 I was going to say the same thing. I appreciate you! I still had some tricks up my sleeve (not wish) but as you said this would’ve gone on for quite some time if we kept going. Cheers

*Oz walks into the arena. He casts a spell that causes his clothes to glimmer as he takes out a dagger and begins walking slowly to the warlock. He moves 30 feet closer and the warlock is able to see that he a wiserly old man with tired and sad old eyes. As the wizard strokes his bear he opens his mouth to speak to his opponent* "Come now let's make this quick . Do whatever you feel like doing. I have a clone that's begging for my soul to come to it."

Portent die: 33

The warlock quietly watches the old wizard approaching him, he rases a brow slightly and glanced at the dagger in his hand. As the wizard gets closer he sees a younger looking man with short black hair and a faint trace of a beard that seems to have just started growing. A faint hint of a chuckle escaped his lips as he listened to what the wizard had to say. "Oh I'll try not to waste anymore time than I need to. Although I really can't promise anything." He said with a small smirk before casting Chill Touch.

Attack: 21 Damage: 25

"OW OH Hell yeah that's the spirit you young whipper snapper! Bring it on!"  *The wizard begins to dash towards him madly raising his dagger*  "One hit from this and it's all over for you buddy." 
*Oz moved 30 feet closer in the first round and then an additional 60 this round. He should be 30 feet away and will reach you next round*

"W-what? Oh... that sounds like it'd be quiet unfortunate." Nikolai said as his smirk quickly faded. Then he took a breath before shrugging ever so slightly. "If my time has come it's not like I have much choice in the matter." Without a moment of hesitation he  casts Psychic Scream before moving back 30 feet.

(Oz needs to make a DC17 Intelligence save. If he fails he'll take 37 psychic damage and be stunned. On a successful save he'll only take half damage and won't be stunned.) 

As you cast your magic you notice that Oz's head explodes! You've done it! Or so you think as the body continues running  toward you. As the elderly old man get closer to you this is when you notice that it is but an illusion.The  Contingecy Spell that had effectively went off as soon as he entered the ring was Mislead .Oz is invisible and not in range of the spell (sorry)

A young man with a blue wide brimmed hat and matching robes begins to appear 120 feet away from you. He wears circular glasses  and has ebony brown skin and a wide smile

"What brilliant magic you have. I was beginning to wonder who'd I'd be facing. Now I only wonder what are you gonna do about the dragon behind you."  He points at the Large blue dragon that begins to manifest behind his opponent. 
"Ah well either way it's not my problem." he begins walking an additional 30 feet away as the dragon rears its head back to breath its breath weapon 

(I need two INT saves DC19 the first against frighten and if you fail you have disadvantage on the check against the breathe attack)
