Gelebor will make sure that his pace does not bring him too far ahead of the group but also makes sure to stay well ahead of the fog as it fills back in.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Genasi continues to walk towards what he believes is the path leading to the mansion as he nears the edge of the village he looks to see if he is going the right way)
The path to the mansion, the village atleast, was fairly eerie. The scarlet mist kept you all on your toes, who knows when the fog would fill back in and drain the life out of you? The lifeless bodies of more animals, then people, could be seen while walking through the red haze. It seemed that the mansion was getting closer! A forest could be seen within view, the mansion dissipating from there. While there was no mist penetrating the fey woods, it certainly was very dark.
Just next to the forest, there was a small hut, with a broomstick parked in front of it. The hut was made of wood and had a straw roof, and was suspended by logs. It looked pretty cozy! There seemed to be a kind of smoke burning inside, like that of a fireplace, but who knew what was in there...
Gelebor scowls as Usiel asks if they are all followers. "You would do well to not assume anyone follows anyone here. The safer assumption is that we have all come for our own reasons, the coincidence of the timing of our arrivals, most likely the work of the Mistress of the Mansion herself." Gelebor starts to relax slightly. "Our reasons aside however, exploration together would increase our chances of survival and all of us achieving our goals, and so I am fine staying as a group, but I am no one's follower."
An elf with black hair, and silver streaks along the temples, stands in black and red robes, holding a staff made of glass. He looks about the town with indifference and annoyance.
"I do apologize if I have, uum, mistaken the relationship here. This is Usiel, an investigator May I know what brings a trained master wizard like you, to this remote small town?" Usielholds the bride of his horse as he walks, questioning the Elf wizard casually.
The Hateful Child, still up front, takes the opportunity to shoot back a reply over his shoulder, as he glances at the witch’s hut.
Gelebor looks up towards the mansion. "Supposedly there are shelves upon shelves of books within the mansion, I seek their knowledge. And what of yourself?" Gelebor turns back around and surveys the entire group. "What of any of you actually, why do any of you seek the mansion?"

(Olum gets a tighter grip on his spear as he continues walking down the path. Keeping an eye on Usiel as he rides ahead on his mission. While walking he says in his low slow voice.)
"I am here seeking the knowledge that the library of the mansion could provide. I've messaged the address many times with no reply, so I've have taken it upon myself to travel here and plead my case in person."
(Once he finished his statment Olum turns his head forward again and slightly quickens his pace)
@Zari "So they are your squire and followers? Ummm. I guess" Usiel took his helmet off mashing it in his hands to cover his nervousness, thinking over the perfect wording for Olum. "You know, some ar.... followers aren't having the same shared ideas with us. If we need extra men, there's a band of trusty warriors just over the Misty Lake and I can gather our strength together. We need to face creatures of the night alone." Usielsuggests as he sees the traveler party consist of a Tielfing.
(Sorry for being occupied over the weekend. Though I may not have the chance to interact with everyone, I guess we should be eager to venture onward to roll some dice.)
Zari was quickly following behind the others carefully trying not to be seen by them when she heard this, causing her to jump back and duck behind another wall if there is one (If there's no wall she just jumps back as her hands become coated in blazing flames.) "Geez don't scare me like that!" She whispers in a harsh tone towards Usiel. "I don't even know these people ok? Even though I believe that they are also invited to this one hell of a place. I keep detecting hostile intent from them and I don't want to break my cover yet. Besides, you're one of those people am I right? And who on earth are you?"

Actually, the fog shouldn't be filling back in yet. The spell lasts a minute.
Will everyone stop calling him "The Demogorgon"? It's his name, not a title!
Tanyl looks confused. "You serve water? I do not serve water. I drink it." They don't seem to realize you weren't addressing them.

(The Genasi stops as he watches the stranger approach. He gives a nod of greeting while squinting his eyes slightly from the light of the shield.)
"We are heading to the mansion outside of this village. Do you by chance know where it is?"

The mansion is just within reach!

"I need those books too. I live in a different universe, but got banished here. I wish to return. The books may help me."
