Tommy is up. 

Tommy will direct Birdie to fly in the face of a charging Orc. Tommy let's two arrows fly as Birdie uses flyby to fly out of range.

That trashes one orc. Fiske is up. 

Fiske targets the second orc and casts hex (targeting strength saves) before following up with an eldritch blast.

13 damage…the orc is very hurt. 

Twig blights A and B are going to attack Hadrian.

A: Attack: 18 Damage: 5

B:Attack: 7 Damage: 3

Twig Blights D and C will attack Jetsam.

D:Attack: 4 Damage: 3

Jetsam is up. He’ll attack the two twig blights, one with his sword and one dagger. 

Suffice it to say he kills them both. 

The orc will make a javelin attack against Fiske. Attack: 6 Damage: 6

Hadrian is up. 

Twig blight A misses Hadrian so he punishes it with a riposte.

Attack: 13 Damage: 11 + 6 (riposte)

On his turn he attacks Twig blight B.

Attack: 22 Damage: 9

Tinny will shoot who ever is left with birdies help.

If we are out of combat, Tommy will gather the dead twigs up into a pile and tie them up with some rope.

Jetsam shrugs. “Fine by me. Why don’t we get going?”

“Better to use them as kindling than be their snack. Very resourceful indeed.” 

Hadrian shrugs. "Let's at it then." *Follows their lead.*

We’re walking for another few hours when we come on the overgrown ruins of a small castle. In the ruins, there’s a statue. 

In the distance can be seen an enormous shaft sticking straight up in the air, possibly a pillar of some sort.

Tommy will walk up looking around.

"This place is cool."

As Tommy is looking around, he notices that something is off about the statue. In fact, it’s not a statue at all. It’s a gargoyle. 

"Mmm Something is off about this... wait a sec I've seen this before".

Without warning Tommy will pull a bead from his necklace and toss it at the statue. 

Fire ball DC 15 dex save or 18 fire damage half on save

A bright streak flashes from the bead to a point you choose within range and then blossoms with a low roar into an explosion of flame. Each creature in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 8d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

The fire spreads around corners. It ignites flammable objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried.
