OOC: This magical effect is treated differently than if a spellcaster or creature casts a spell that has a stunning effect on another creature. It's a charisma-induced effect that lasts 1d4 rounds on a failed save.
It’s ok not complainign just wondering and trhowing dice in advance just in case to save time XD Thanks
Grady is rocked by the grotesque creature as it erupts from the cleansing house. He maintains his concentration on Dearg with hopes of giving his ally some help. Digging deep into his soul he pulls on the will of his oath and stares the creature down. With his Morningstar clutched in his hand ready to strike he realizes his remaining party members are frozen in place with the gaze of the fiend.
Grady casts "bless" on his 3 party members.
(Ooc: I'm wondering if 'lay on hands' will break the shock the rest of the party is in. Spending 5 points from the pool removes any poison or any effects- not sure if this counts though? I would like to use it if it does, if it doesn't I will do this-)
Grady then runs his full movement speed away from his party yelling and shouting in both elvish and common, the only lanugages he knows- trying to draw the attention away from his party. He braces himself with his shield held high as he continues cursing and swearing at the menacing enemy.

OOC: Shek'lok - no worries at all!
Grady - unfortunately this isn't a poison or disease, so Lay on Hands wouldn't have any effect other than restoring hit points. Additionally, Bless and Protection from Evil both require Concentration, so it will break the Protection spell on Dearg. I'll assume you're alright with that here, let me know if that's not the case.
Round 2Order: Sin Fiend <===== Shek'lok Grady Dearg/Ullington
OOC: No. Freaking. Way. This dice roller hates you more than the sin fiend.
As Grady blesses the party and draws the fiend's attention away from the group, it lashes out in reaction, dealing 8 slashing damage. It lumbers across the field and masterfully rakes a single claw across the paladin's neck, dealing 14 slashing damage and sending Grady crashing to the ground unconscious, bleeding from multiple wounds. It turns its attention back to the stunned party members behind it.
Round 2Order: Sin Fiend Shek'lok Grady <===== Dearg/Ullington
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Round 4 Order: Sin Fiend <===== Shek'lok Grady Dearg/Ullington
The standing trio's movement returns in the nick of time as the sin fiend launches itself at them. After countless years of being compelled to do no harm to innocents, the fiend revels in its sudden ability to do so, willingly throwing itself between the three, ripping out with a flurry of claws.
Attack Rolls:
Claw Attack at Dearg: 27 Claw Attack at Shek'lok: 17 Claw Attack at Ullington: 24
Dearg is unable to block the incoming blow in time, taking 15 slashing damage. Shek'lok similarly tries his best to get out of the way, but is scraped along the side for 12 slashing damage. Ullington is also raked, but not as deeply, taking 16 slashing damage.
Turn 4 Order: Sin Fiend Shek'lok <===== Grady Dearg/Ullington
OOC: Feel free to post actions in advance, and I'll resolve them once Shek'lok's turn is posted.
(Ooc: I count that I've taken 41 damage out of 52 total so I should still be standing.. This guy is a beast... Wait, I guess if that first hit didn't drop me perhaps the second and third would have? Sorry can you clear this up, everything happened so fast lol.)

In order to use the Insightful Fighting feature we have to do a contested roll.. Insight vs Deception. If Shek’lok wins he can use Sneak Attack even if has no advantage.
Insight: 10
Shek’lok looks in horror and unable to move how the creature rips Grady apart. Seeing that it comes for them and the pain from the wound that it inflicts to the half-elf gives him the strength to break free, but he remains still, looking how the creature takes one more step towards them, its claws dripping the blood of his friends, one more step as the gangrel creature opens again his mouth and he can see the black goo that emanates from it. Then he moves, quickly he cuts with his sword upwards trying to cut the creature’s from the hip to the shoulder. He takes a few steps back towards the fallen paladin and asks the others “Quickly a healing potion or kit! Throw it to me it’s not too late...”
He will attack: Attack: 19 Damage: 7
Sneak attack if applicable. 11.
With Cunning action he will use Disengage to move away and then use his movement to be next to Grady to help him stabilize. He will roll medicine next turn even if there is no potion nor healer’s kit around. ;)

The sound of claws screeching against metal break through the cloud of vileness as Dearg comes back to his senses. He feels the pang where he was already struck and spots Grady's armor shining on the ground where he is laying. His focus snaps back to the beast clawing its way back toward them. Forgoing even his sword he launches himself at the beast.
Using 1 Ki to use Flurry of Blows and another to attempt to stun. ( 2 Ki spent)
Shek'lok cuts the creature upward, and more of the thick black liquid drips from its mouth and its new wound. The creature appears unfazed, but recognized and reacted to the strike. Dearg pummels the fiend as Shek'lok moves toward Grady, landing three solid blows, but the creature stands firm against the attacks and shakes off the attempted stunning effect.
Round 4 Order: Sin Fiend Shek'lok Grady Dearg Ullington <=====
OOC: It's been a while since we've heard from Ullington, so if there is no action posted by tomorrow I will take actions for him.
Claw Attack of Opportunity: 19 Claw Attack at Dearg: 27 Claw Attack at Ullington: 19 Claw Attack at Shek'lok: 10
Ullington makes a beeline for Grady, knowing that the holy paladin is the best defense against this evil creature, and casts a restorative spell at the expense of a swipe of the sin fiend's claws.
Ullington takes 13 slashing damage as Grady awakes on the ground with a start, a surge magical energy rushing through his veins, revitalizing him.
Round 5 Order: Sin Fiend <===== Shek'lok Grady Dearg Ullington
The sin fiend spins back to Dearg quicker than the blink of an eye, suddenly digging its claws deep into the monk's stomach, nearly disemboweling him, dealing 11 slashing damage. The fiend is already chasing Ullington as Dearg's unconscious body hits the ground, knocking the gnome unconscious as well, dealing 14 slashing damage. It follows its nasty trail of carnage with a wild swipe at Shek'lok, who pulls back in time out of its reach.
Round 5 Order: Sin Fiend Shek'lok <===== Grady Dearg Ullington
Tracking: Shek'lok is engaged with the sin fiend. Grady lays prone 10 feet away, now conscious. Ullington lays dying, within melee range of the sin fiend. Dearg lays dying 25 feet away.
Grady jumps to his feet and casts aid on his 3 allies, attempting to bolster their failing health.
((This should revive both downed party members))
He grabs his Morningstar in one hand and his holy symbol in the other- holding it high he yells a short prayer towards the beast as he backs away. ((Using the remainder of his movement))
Shek'lok aims true, but the thick skin of the creature prevents the blow from continuing all the way through its forearm. Dearg and Ullington both awake with a start, their wounds partially closed over, as they and Shek'lok receive some life energy from Grady's spell.
Round 5 Order: Sin Fiend Shek'lok Grady Dearg <===== Ullington
Tracking: Shek'lok is engaged with the sin fiend. Grady is 25 feet to the east of the melee. Dearg is prone, 25 feet to the west of the melee. Ullington is prone, 10 feet to the west of the melee.
Dearg rolls to his feet ignoring the pain and sprints up behind the creature as its moving toward Grady again. He draws his shortsword and deals two quick cuts and a focused kick attempting to stun the Fiend again.
I think I can stand for half my movement? That would still leave me with the 25ft to get the the monster.

A surge of energy flows through the monk as he turns to see Ullington has kipped up and rushed over behind him, chanting a healing spell.
3rd Level Cure Wounds: 8
A low growl erupts from the fiend's mouth, and the flow of black liquid increases as it struggles to force its muscles to respond.
