Breldo uses his hidden spot to get in a nice shot on the big guard(?) leading the charge.

Khond charges the guy in the front, battering him with hooves before following up with the rapier, all while yelling "Have at thee, brigand!"

Khond too manages to strike the apparent leader who doesn't like having two hefty wounds sticking through his armor already. One of the guards is heroically rushing forth to try and get into the melee, though seems somewhat perturbed that they are the one being called "brigands". Oren starts to rush forward to meet with anyone in melee, while Nuria rushes back to shoot an arrow.

"Get back Nuria, keep at range!" Asimi calls out while also preparing for melee.

The one guard charging down seems to react on hearing Asimi calling that out. Though that doesn't stop two more guards lining up alongside their leader to shoot.

Nuria's arrow barely misses, while one of the guards returns fire upon the one they noticed firing. Nuria cries out as two bolts hit her in rapid succession.

Breldo curses as Nuria is struck. Probably best to put down the threat in front of them first, but he's become a bit protective of the girl and his first thought was to run to her.

((Just some fluff, but should be around enough to take Breldo's turn when it comes around.))

((Can Rick have regained his daggers? Also, did Rick gain a special attachment to the mace? Assuming daggers are back:))

Rick hucks one at the nearest bandit.

He will then say to Sylvia (who knows is presumably invisible),

"Friend Sylvia? Rick wonders if Sylvia can magic the bandits?"

(Yeah sure, we'll say Rick made sure to collect his daggers earlier)

Rick aims for one of the "bandits" next to the leader, dagger barely hitting but still seeming to severely hurt the bandit in question- Seems they're not made of sterner stuff. HIs request toward Sylvia however, who pokes out of the cover with a brief "Who's making all this racket?" before immediately going invisible as bolts and daggers and everything else starts flying.

"I don't have any magic! Well, not magic that is gonna help here-"

Another guard soon joins the others, taking aim at the tabaxi asking strange questions to someone who doesn't even seem to be there.

Attack: 16 Damage: 7

Rick takes a nasty arrow to his side, while Sylvera reaches for her boomerang.

"Nuria, you've been hit, get back!" she cries, likely figuring Rick needs no such encouragement.

Attack: 17 Damage: 5

Sylvera's boomerang strikes the same guard Rick had gone for, and there is a sickening crack as he falls to the ground.

Rick is back already but gets more back.

Breldo looses another bolt at the leader.

Having closed most of the distance, Khond switches from bow to rapier and charges the attackers.  "Begone, evildoers!"

Breldo's arrow again strikes a disgruntled leader, while Khond charges up to the side. A combined trample instantly knocks down the man in question.

...Now he's much closer, those outfits do look a lot like guard uniforms.

The zealous guard meanwhile looks out toward Nuria being shot as she is, and for a split moment he seems torn. He's fixated on that blurry shape for a moment, as if trying to make sure of something, right before...

He charges in the direction of his fellow men, and tries to tackle one of his own to the ground.

"We're supposed to capture them, not kill them!"

The one guard struck by the zealous one stumbles but barely stays upright, while their commander yells with newfound anger.

"Cadmir, have you gone insane?!"

The captain turns, now dealing with greater threats in the form of Khond, grabbing his shortsword and trying to strike at him twice.

Attack: 21 Damage: 5

Attack: 15 Damage: 10

Both attacks hit Khond, the final strike a blunt one to knock Khond unconscious (assuming the sheet at 12/17 is correct?)

Nuria, badly injured, tries to get off one more shot before quickly rushing to the back of the room, Oren and Asimi rushing up to help out Khond. They target the leader, uncertain how to deal with one of the apparent guards having turned on their own, trying to wrestle one of his compatriots to the ground.

In this case however, the captain seems to dodge all attacks in their direction.

Rick tries to lean around from a different angle to take out the injured guard before sliding back.

In his rush to glide away he doesn't actually look where he hucks his dagger.
