Korlan's lit ball bearing rolls in a couple of inches and fetches up against something with a click.
Demoiselle's shoes are also the perfect height to cast light into the hole. Within, you see a sort of seal, triangle shaped with a raised image of a sun and stars:
Demoiselle pulls out the ancient seal, made of some metal you have never seen before. Just as she is doing that, you all hear the sound of some large stone structure settling into place within the inner room of the temple behind you. The ground shakes slightly for just a moment, as if something heavy impacted it.
Entering the temple, you walk past the pool. On the far side there is a layer of stone dust on the floor. In the next room you find that a stone staircase has come down from the room above, the ceiling itself forming the stairs as they lowered. Any of your bedding and belongings that were laid out in this room earlier are now covered in stone dust.
Esvaris and Korlan race up the stairs. Quill is almost knocked off the stairs by the halfling pushing past him. As they come up through the floor and look around Esvaris clearly sees the room they saw earlier, now with the addition of a small pile of rubble near where the hole collapsed. There is a large mural painted all around the room, covered in dust and grime. To your left is a small altar with a closed leather bound tome on top. It seems as if this room has been undisturbed for a very long time. Korlan thinks the room is extremely dark.
Quill comes out after the first two and also thinks that the room is very dark.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The amulet around Quill's neck glows faintly as he casts the Light cantrip, tapping one of the stones in the rubble. Seeing as Esvaris is already examing the book, Quill will study the mural.

I don't answer, I just move towards that room.

Quill nods, glancing in the friar's direction.
"This is important. Imagine what we could learn from all of this!"
And that's all I have to say about that.

”This HAS to be the room I found earlier!” I rush up the stairs to try beating Esvaris to the top.
