Okay, that's very good. It seems that the adventurers kind of took the worst of the damage, but there are still a fair amount of casualties. You'd say that out of the five-hundred-odd people in this village, no more than half still breathe. Though people are trying to help each other, you can see that there are some in desperate straits with no one around, the closest being a blond half-elf woman, unconscious, half-buried under the ruins of a house. Blue frost crystals, formed of the ice magic explosion, cover her feet and are beginning to make their way up her pale skin, putting her in danger of hypothermia.

She appears to have several broken ribs and a minor concussion. The crystals are some form of dangerous ice magic still leaking from the site of the crystal's explosion - it's definitely not safe to stick around here. They seem to be slowly spreading to cover all the nearby objects, and the air is deadly cold. When you ask for information, a nearby person who had been shopping in the marketplace only moments before pants, "No! The crystals are harmless unless you break them! I have no idea... Can you help us? No one knows what to do! I'm so cold..."

"I don't know, they're just everywhere. They, um, they're cold to the touch, but they never explode unless you break them. Where did that shockwave come from? ...brrr..." You don't seem to see any source of warmth.
A middle-aged dwarf man some of you may recognize as the village alchemist is going around passing out the few bottle of healing potion that survived the sinking of the place. He bends and forced feeds the potion to Thelanis. 6

Over the next few minutes, you do you best to help out villagers, even as your hands begin to go numb, and in about ten minutes all the village's survivor's - about three hundred - are clustered around the nearly sheer cliff that the village is now below. This is the roughest part of the sinkhole wall, but with fingers that can't form a fist you have precious little chance of climbing it. The villagers seem to be looking to you all for answers on how to get out of the pit that was once their home.

Annika has been helping gather the wounded villagers to the cliff that used to be the edge of town, casting Prestidigitation on items and clothing throughout the crowd to help warm them. But she breaks away when the argument between the other adventurers breaks out—
“Hey! Safety first. Fighting later.” She approaches the group, regretting the loss of her gloves and doing her best not to shiver.
“I’m Annika - Specialist. Army. From the White City.”
She nods to Thelanis - “Can’t say I’m sorry to see you back on your feet. Sorry I wasn’t more help before.”
Looking back to the crowd of townsfolk, she grimaces. “Any ideas on how to get out of here? It’s clear we can’t stay. I can lift something to carry people up the cliff face, but only a few at a time, and I won’t be able to hold it for long.” (Levitate)

Torivir runs to the half elf, inspecting her wounds. He examines the strange crystals, and asks anyone near if they know anything of what's happening.

Torivir will search for anything warm, such as coals from a fire, and move them closer to the person using the telekinesis.
