Alcazar shrugs, "Fearsome indeed and still hardly a valid test of true potential. So many things are easier against an inanimate enemy and, as our friend Nepharios pointed out, impossible against anything but a true enemy."
He looks around the field, "Is this truly how practice works?" He sniffs and wrinkles his nose. "Probably good enough for those who beat things to death with swords, but for those of us with more refined skills..." he shrugs, seemingly losing interest.
Jinx can't help but agree with Alcazar. "My noble friend here has another point," she says. "I'm not really one for a head-on approach, you know? I like to sneak up and attack from the back or the side. That'll be only too easy with this dummy, which isn't much of a challenge. He can't exactly dodge any attacks or detect my approach."
Miawynn watches slightly as the groups go back and forth. All the while she whispers under her breath "None of you could last in the forest. Finding edible food... HA. The lot would be dead" She gives Ewock a little scratch under his chin.
Admittedly, she knows none of her own powers. What can she contribute to the fight? Scavenging food to keep the others alive... she looks on sadly and just takes a few steps back. She knows she's no good in the library either, given her upbringing- reading isn't really a strong suit.
With that Miawynn looks at Paartu and the rest of the Pale Hand crew and states "Now what?" Ewock sinks down in Miawynn's bag shaking as he sees Paartu tear the dummy in half.
Dreadbeard stands there with the yuan-ti as he watches the human and zombie leave. Then he turns to the group before shrugging his shoulders and leaving. The yuan-ti follows closely behind.

Jinx shrugs. "We could go check out the library." The little gnome sounds less than enthused with the idea, but now that the others have left it seems like the best option.

"So, you are not willing to participate in the competition?" Dreadbeard asks.
The human scoffs, "Of course, they aren't. I've not seen a more sorry bunch of adventurers."

Alcazar sighs. "The challenge for me is to understand of the deep secrets of the universe, not the destruction of toys."
He then resumes walking toward the library, taking note of what else lies within the building.
"Pft, you want us to demolish a training dummy?" Jinx retorts. "Piece of cake! Watch this."
She unsheathes the rapier she carries at her side and proceeds to turn the training dummy into a pincushion, her blade flashing brightly in the sun.

(Jinx, make an attack roll.)

(Attack: 18 Damage: 4)
Jinx strikes the training dummy with her rapier and does significant damage.
"That's quite impressive," Dreadbeard remarks. "Now it's my turn."
The dwarf moves to the other dummy and pulls out his scimitar. He utters something under his breath and the scimitar ignites.
He strikes at the dummy three times.

Miawynn stands and stares and Jinx. She waits to see what everyone else has done but is quite impressed with the little gnome!
Paartu walks up to the dummy, rages, and attempts to tear the dummy in half.

With that Miawynn looks at Paartu and the rest of the Pale Hand crew and states "Now what?" Ewock sinks down in Miawynn's bag shaking as he sees Paartu tear the dummy in half.
Dreadbeard nods his head, "That is certainly a destructive method of damaging the dummy."
"No," the human remarks. "That doesn't count, that's cheating. Come on, we're leaving."
He then begins to walk off, his zombie following behind.

Paartu ends his rage and, seeing the human walk off, turns to his friends and says, "Did I do something wrong?"

(( @DM: I'm pretty sure Alcazar has left by the time Paartu does his thing, but let me know if not. ))
(Yes, Alcazar will have left by now. I think it's just Sylvie, Jinx, Paartu and Miawynn who have remained.)

"Was not!" Jinx calls after the retreating human. "You're just sore losers!"
To Paartu she grins. "You did nothing wrong, buddy. We won fair and square. They're just too stubborn to admit it!"
