Upon waking in the morning you all can hear the singing of birds outside and the smell of food coming from the assembly hall you waited in the day before. It seems Harold had restocked the food and breakfast may have been set out on the tables once again.
(it is up to you on how you want to approach the beginning of your day)

Alan woke to the splendid smell of sizzling sausage in a sumptuous show upon a serving table. He didn't think that, of course - his thoughts were a bit simpler and lacking alliteration.
Alright! Meat!
He made his way to the tables and began shoveling food into his mouth like he hadn't eaten in days. Harold would have been mortified to see the display.

Solastor starts the day by greeting the Sun as it rises. Strange words in cadence are barely audible as he watches the rising sun. Once it has fully emerged from the horizon he stands and stretches, reaching as far upwards as he can. This complete he comes into the great hall and begins eating a modest breakfast of meats and fruits.
Arynn starts his day by getting a cloth from his pocket and scrubbing his boots to attempt to polish them. He will head down for breakfast. He looks to the prepared food. "This is a lot of quality food, Harold. The kitchen staff must be very diligent." He comments. He doesn't approach to have any unless it is pretty much labelled that these are definitely setup for the group to have breakfast.
Fargrim is a little late to breakfast compared to every one else. He spends the morning preparing his spells and meditating while polishing his equipment and sharpening his battleaxe.
He comes in for breakfast, pours himself yet another glass of ale, and sits himself down next to Solastor, grabbing sausage and fruit enough to settle the appetite of a hungry war dwarf.
Looking to Taman, he shrugs his lack of knowledge and digs in.
An envelope appears in the middle of the table as you are all eating. On the back of the envelope is all of your names in a fancy calligraphy in gold ink.

Fargrim looks at the envelope curiously for a second, then returns to breakfast. The envelope can wait a minute; an army marches on its stomach, after all.
After finishing his breakfast and downing his last bit of ale, Fargrim turns to his companions, grabbing the letter and opening it. "What's this? Perhaps our first mission as official members of the guild?"
Inside the envelope were 2 sheets of paper. The first in common was a letter from Lord Hightower.
"Adventurers,
After you completed your mission last night with such alacrity I knew I could count on you for much more important and potentially dangerous missions. The accompanying paper in this envelope is a map that was found on one of the suspects that you apprehended. There are 5 places marked with different colored x's in the countryside around the city. Please investigate the places marked on the map, but use great caution. There is no knowing what dangers you may face. Report to me with whatever you may find so we may be able to better determine what exactly is going happening.
Lord Michael Hightower: Guild master"
The map when you look at it has 5 different colored x's as he mentioned. One red, blue, black, green, and yellow. (investigation check DC 15 for local resident to see if you know anything about the places on the map, Otherwise you could go ask someone or just go to them and find out when you arrive.)

Fargrim reads the letter before passing it around to the group. "Looks like our work is set before us. Any one know about any of these places? I don't know the countryside all that well. Looks like there's only 4 different marks though..." He pauses for a second. "Oh! There it is. Who uses yellow on parchment? I vote we go to that one first just so we don't forget about it."
"Hmm, it could potentially be war camps." Arynn notes, thinking about how their enemy's boss is an orc warlord. "We should take extreme caution; a half dozen against a small army is never in our favour. I suggest we gear up and leave within the hour."
The glumness present in Solastor during the evening has vanished without a trace. Joy seems to radiant from him with the morning Sun. He glances over the maps when they come to him, being from another land however they mean very little to him.
"Harold my good sir! Could you shed anymore light on these locations? If there is another who would have better information I would completely understand! An estate as large and grand as this must take a lot to continue as successfully as you have it!
Let us begin with the farthest point from the gates and work our back toward the city. I feel this would assist us in avoiding messengers alerting these places ahead of us."
"Hm. Orcs wouldn't be too bad. There have been a lot more undead popping up in the wilds, lately. Orcs would be a lot less... icky. Well, maybe." Alan said, trying to make sense of the map.

Harold walks over looks at the map and once again sniffs disdainfully. "I would never travel in such uncouth places. You would need to ask someone less civilized than me about those places. Perhaps a tavern or such?" He then begins wiping down the silver candlesticks on a table.
(If you picture the city in the center of the map, The x's are located in varying locations all around the city. One out towards the mountains that is red, One south next to the river that is blue, one north in a forest that is green, and two in the plains but one is fairly close to the city that is black the other more distant that is yellow and about half a days journey.)
Fargrim returned after a few minutes, ready for battle. "What say ye we head off? The yellow X is about a half days journey from here... or if more information is what we need, perhaps we should see if the tavern is open yet. I could definitely use a bit more hair of the dog after last night!"

Taman wakes up and stretches before getting out of bed and brushing his clothes clean. He then walks down to join the others.
"Good morning, fellow adventurers!" he says, with a slight grin to communicate a hint of irony.
He grabs a peice of fruit and munches it while waiting.
"Do you think Lord Hightower will be briefing us on our next exciting task anytime soon?" he says to noone in particular.

Fargrim turns to Harold. "There's nothing uncivilized about a tavern... though they may be rather empty this early in the day."
Getting up and leaving the table, he announced "I've had my vote... decide as you will amongst yourselves. I must prepare for the journey."
He returns to his room to don his chain mail and clothes, traveler's, getting back before the party has left.
Alan continues stuffing his face as he waits for the tiny bearded fellow, as he already has his gear with him.
