As Alan kicks at the stone his foot goes through it and the part of his foot that goes through disappears through the stone like the stone ate it. Clearly this is some sort of illusion.

Heading through the illusion you see a 3x3 foot tunnel that ends at a rock wall with a small handhold at the end. The sound of voices can be heard through the door but are too far away to be understood. You can also hear the sound of what could be children sobbing.

Fargrim heads back out and addresses his compatriots, "Not much headroom here, looks like a goblin tunnel, but I can hear the children on the other side. Let's rescue them!"
He walks into the tunnel, ducking for the low head space and waiting for the other adventurers to crawl up behind him before pulling on the handle and walking into any passage that opens up.
Solastor crawls in after Arynn. WIth a quick thought to his Light he transfers the glow to an orb on the brow of his helmet. He is cramped in the tight tunnel and the others can hear him huffing as he crawls along. His Light wavers periodically, it's illumination helping him keep his sanity in the tight passageway.
"Warn me of the exit so I do not announce our presence to this mixed company." He whispers quietly.
Reaching the stone door Fargrim pulls on a small trigger and the door slowly slides open with a soft grating sound of stone against stone. Peeking through the door you see a large chamber at least 100' across a fire with a cook pot sits in the middle of the room with a table with 6 wooden chairs around it sitting next to the fire. Four large but goblinoid creatures sit at the table eating and another shrouded figure sits on a throne like seat made of bones and covered with cloths on the far side of the room next to a cage with 2 small children inside that are whimpering and clutching each other tightly. The chamber is lit by torches all around and as you look out of the tunnel the figure on the throne motions to you and waves its hand.. "I am guessing you have dispatched my guards. Come in and let us see what arrangements we can come to before more killing commences." It speaks with a gravelly dep voice.

Arynn will roll out of the entrance to the tunnel, taking a dodge as he does so in case they immediately pile on someone. "Guards? More like your fellow criminals. Return the children, unharmed, and you may yet live."
"Yes, we despatched your troll and your other minions with ease. Some yet live, as our prisoners. The others died choking on their own blood. Give us the children, unharmed and tell us what your business is with Silverymoon. Then we may let you live."

The cloaked figure stands, His face still hidden and looks at each of you with an evaluative look before speaking. "I use what tools I am given. I care not if they die or live. As for my business, You may find out... Eventually. Needless to say, if you attempt to act on your threats, You will not leave here alive. However, I may be willing to part with the children if you make a good offer."

Taman nods in support of Alan's question. His hand moves slowly to hold the handle of his hand crossbow and magic words are ready on the tip of his tongue.
Yes let's get him talking but I suppose we will have to subdue him and his brutes before he will be willing to give us anything. I'll be damned if I'll make a deal with kidnapping scum.

Fargrim watches the conversation unfolding in front, still nursing his injured shoulder. I only have enough magic left for one spell... and neither me nor that monk are doing well.
Preparing to dodge, Fargrims hand tightens around his battleaxe, inching closer to his foes.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
After a moment, when it becomes clear the robed creature isn't intending to answer, Fargrim begins walking forward menacingly, attempting to close a little of the distance between himself and the foes before the fighting starts. "My companion asked you a question, oh one hiding behind your trolls and portcullises. Tell us your name, so that I, Fargrim of the Ironfist clan can pass on the story of the cowards who hide behind children in an attempt to bargain for their lives."

Seeing Alan's foot go through the wall, Fargrim walks past Alan, clapping him on the shoulder as he passes. "Good job, annoying one!"
"This way!" he adds to the rest of the party, readying his battleaxe as he walks through the illusion to what lies ahead.

Alan sighs, looking at the ceiling and assuming a defeated posture.
"I'll pull up the rear and guard our retreat." Alan said, standing to the side of the tunnel and gesturing to the entrance for the others.
Why must I crawl? Where is the dignity in that?

Arynn nods, crawling in straight after Fargrim. We can still save them, let's not mess this up, he thinks to himself.

Here's to enough stealth to give y'all time to crawl through because that has GOT to cramp your fighting style.

And now heres a blue 0.
Taman joins in the grumbling but stoops down and follows the others into the crawl space.
