Smith: Try on yur armor. I dare say it's my best work yet.
You pick up the armor and it disappears and reappears right infront of you.
With a sigh of disappointment yall hit the road. Before you leave your told the next town is Arena just past the mountains then its an additional 10 day to Norend.
Following the road north out of town. It's an easy first day. (Going to take a few liberties here hope you don't mind) Marley enjoys flying Crunchface like a kite as he and Maz are blown away each time the wind picks up. Maz passes the time trying to think of a good poem he could sing about their current predicament. Crunchface and Sam a bit more serious keep look out as Sam takes point and Crunchface keeps watch from the air.
The next day is much like the first. Till after mid morning. When to figures in woodland garb approach the party from ahead. Sam you Recognize their emblems as Rangers (think high way protrol in this case)
Some one please roll me a flat D20 luck check.
The first Ranger stops 20 feet from you while the second is about 30 feet away by the cover of a tree bow at low ready.
Ranger 1: Hail, please put away any weapons and step foward to be inspected. What has you on the road today?
Marley thanks the blacksmith for his work, adding "I look forward to wearing it... someday." with a wry grin. He then asks Sam to add it to the goods in the magical bag.
As the party begins their travels again, he asks Maz if he can borrow the shortbow he gave him... which if he is able to use the bow, he now tucks it away at the request of the rangers.

The ranger asks to look in each of your bags (assuming you don't resist) pokes about a bit before heading your stuff back to you. He then pulls out a bit of dust and blows it at yall. You all glow pink for a second then go back to normal.
Ranger: Pixies ouch. There is a druid outside arena that could help you. He lives in a big tree few miles outside of town. Well everything checks out. Good luck
After the rangers walk off you all continue on your way. The rest of the day goes smoothly.
The next morning (day 3 of your journey) the path starts to move into the hills. Eventually the forest road opens to a feild of flowers. You all see a large butterfly. It's beautiful, so beautiful you find it hard to look at anything else.
Everyone roll a wis save.

(My bad. Was trying to get it in for the luck)
No issues holding the bow
Crunchface attempts to float to an upright position and get a look at the rangers.
If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.
Seeing yall have put away your weapons the ranger will approach yall.
Ranger: What has you on the road today? Not expecting a caravan for another week?
Crunchface tries to pull himself along the rope down to the ground. “We been cursed. Try to find help removing curse.”

“Thank you.” Crunchface says. “We try to find him.”

Marley nods his thanks to the rangers, but wonders what the dust was for.
