Maziara nods at Marley who has put the gold and other belongings into this seemingly mystical bag. He notes that the group will have time to divey up the findings later. He also takes a healing potion and gulps it down.

he follows the group into the new room and runs his hand along the door, looking for any sign of how it may open. He think it may require some form of magic.
Everyone a bit exhausted from the last fight gives a half hearted search of the room.
Marley you walk up to the chest and give it a quick once over. Not seeing any traps you open it up.... its empty. But at that moment a creature from above drops on you. Your cat like reflexes kick in as you roll back out of the way.
It slams into the spot you where just at, trashes around a bit before going limp. As it does it starts to resemble a rock formation.
Everyone else focuses in on the door. Ot seeing g any way to open it yall look at the alter.
There are 2 small torches that light as you approach a bowl infront of a small dragon stone statue. The bowl holds 20 gold

Curious. Maziara with some knowledge of Kobold/Draconic culture is interested in the alter. Specifically he focuses on the dragon statue and tries to recall and stories he may have heard related to it. (history check if applicable for this situation… 9 )
Maz you take a closer look at the state and you see the statue is broken. It looks like the dragon has a saddle and there could have been a rider.
You remember the balad of Sansa Dragondaughter, a dragon rider from the hight of the empire. Her legend goes bloody and injered during the fight with an ancient red dragon, she was standing defiantly as it went to finish her off with its breath. Incendia so impressed with her battle protected her. The flame burnt away the blood covering her bidy and she was healed. She then went on to defeat the dragon who agreed to serve her till her death many years later. Her fame was so great she was worshiped as a minor deity on her death.

Marley rolls back to his feet as he draws his shortsword and watches the rock-like creature closely. He moves toward it cautiously, ready to attack if it makes any sudden movements. If it doesn't seem to be posing any current threat to the party he gradually relaxes his guard as he listens to Maziara, and tries to recall if he remembers anything that might be relevant from his archaeological studies.

"I've seen altars like this before," Marley says grimly, adding with a scowl," They're used for sacrifices." He scans the area around the bowl and statue for traps.

You look for traps but the only thing of note you see is burnt blood on the offering bowl. Taking a look at the torches it looks like they have been moved recently.

You remove the torch from the wall the added light makes the burnt blood in the offering bowl easier to see
