You see two Kobold sitting by fire roasting a pig. They have their backs to the party 

Crunchface whispers a few words and casts Sacred Flame on the both of them: DC12 Dex save or 1 radiant damage each. 

Ok they are not expecting an attack so they auto fail.

They hop up and screech. 1 reaches for a dagger the other a horn.

Roll Initiative every else can take 1 action before combat starts

Marley quietly readies his bow as soon as he spots the two kobolds, firing an arrow before they have time to prepare for an attack.

Maziara gives a cheeky stab with his rapier.

After Crunchface's inital attack the rest of you rush in but the gig is up and the Kobold dodge the attacks. everyone misses.

Order: Marley, Crunchface, Kobold 1, Kobold 2, Maziara, Sam

Marley Is up

Marley drops his bow and moves up beside Maziara and Sam, drawing his shortsword as he joins the fray.

Shortsword: Attack: 27 Damage: 12

Sneak: 5

Claws: Attack: 17 Damage: 6

Can I take back my Color Spray? Im pretty sure we’re down to one kobold. If so, I’ll try to grapple the remaining one with athletics 23

If not, just use the color spray.

Marley destroys the first Kobold dealing 28 damage.

Crunchface runs up and tackles the other Kobold.

Rolled a non nat 1 so it's restrained.

On its turn it will try and escape.

Nat 1. It gives up.

End if combat yall have captured a Kobold.

Marley searches the kobolds and the area around the fire pit.

Investigation: 8

You don't find much. Mostly useless junk and a horn. These guys appear to be a guard for a cave entrance near by. 

Marley takes the horn and stashes it in his pack.

(How far along is the roast pig?  If it's looking done, Marley will take a dagger and slice off a slab and taste it)
