(Up to 13 after getting 6 hop from short rest. Maziara is out of spells though.)
(If you'd like Marley could lend you his shortbow as bards are proficient and he will more likely be fighting with shortsword and rapier, and if you have any uses of Bardic Inspiration left you could do that while using the bow)
(Maziara would happily borrow the bow for the upcoming battle. He also has vicious mockery available.)
As the party finishes up their rest, Marley hands his bow and quiver of arrows to Maziara, then drinks his Inspiration Sarsparilla.
Maziara nods, accepting the bow and arrows. “Let’s get going. That little girl is depending on us.”
(Took us a siesta and drank some root beer, let’s take on a bunch of dragon people!)
After your quick break the party heads to the cave.
Walking into the entrance the first thing you notice is that there is no light. Unless you have darkvision you will not be able to see.
The entrance opens to a hall that extends into the dark

DM: Been 2 days going to assume Sam follows with a torch unless yall use a spell.
As you walk into the tunnel you hear a noise up ahead. Out of the darkness comes a flying Kobold and 2 more behind a rock outcropping. (Half cover)

Order: Marley, Winged Kobold, Kobold 1, Maziara, Sam, Kobold 2, Crunchface.
The kobolds are 30ft from you behind a rock formation. The winged Kobold is 20ft away 10 feet in the air.
Marley is up
Marley regrets giving up his bow for a moment as he eyes the winged kobold, but shrugs and moves up to attack the closest kobold behind the rocks.
Shortsword: Attack: 17 Damage: 7
Claws: Attack: 12 Damage: 4
Sword hits claws miss. Kobold 1 is bloody.
Please roll a acrobatics or athletics save please Marley.
Acrobatics: 10
The winged Kobold is going to attempt to pick you up and drop you off the ledge. He has a -2 to str.

The winged Kobold dives in and grapples Marley. Marley you try and twist out of the way and it's grip loosens. You are now surrounded by Kobold.
