Seeing Val get hurt, he tries to roar but the wind muffles it and he holds a hand out to cast Magic Missile at the remaining sniper, while trying to position his heavily armored body in front of her as best as he can on the walkway.
Action: Cast Magic Missile with all 3 darts at Sniper 2. Damage: 2, 2, 4 for a total of 8 force.
Move: In front of Valrieth if there's enough room.
The scarf seems to have dulled in color and sticks to Adgon like glue and the fire brand is now inert and no longer magical. He has a no other items of worth on him.
Valrieth looks around for a moment to ensure that there's no other immediate threat. If not, she sits alone on the causeway, still surrounded by her warding wind, and eats 2 goodberries. She is near the north end of that segment of causeway that runs almost straight north, and she's about 15 feet SW of the boat with the 2 dead snipers.
Feeling a little better after the goodberries, Val gingerly stands up and looks around to see what Gan-Re and Finley are doing. She sees Agdon's decapitated body, and even at a distance, she sways slightly and looks away. Steadying herself, she stows her shield and walks over to brigand B's body and squats down to say a brief prayer. Then she searches the body, looking for any valuables or clues: coins, jewelry, papers, etc. She does not want the brigands club, but if she finds a dagger or the brigand's sling and stones or bullets for the sling, she'll take those. (She currently has no ranged weapons.)
Once she's done searching brigand B's body, she looks around and tries to catch Finley's eye. If she can get the attention of either Finley or Gan-Re, she cocks her head to the side and points to the large stump at the center of the Brigand's Tollway, questioningly. If they try to talk to her while she still has warding wind, she cups her hand to one of her tall ears, shakes her head, and then makes a swirling gesture with her arms. She waits to see whether they show an interest in proceeding directly to the stump or not.
(OOC: Question for the DM - were any of the harengon wearing studded leather armor? If so, is it small enough that Val could wear it?)
Gan-Re retrieves the head, and puts it in the hole, to show to Jingle Jangle later. He retrieves the arrows (yeah) and waits for the others to heal and check for traps before checking the stump for clues. He does go first to trigger any traps that they miss.

She waits to see whether they show an interest in proceeding directly to the stump or not.
(OOC: based on the response in the chat thread, I'll assume that we're moving on.)
Still in her starry form and with warding wind still blowing around her, Valrieth takes her yew wand from her pouch and casts Goodberry, conjuring a new batch of the berries. Then she sits back down on the causeway and removes the brigand's arrow that was still stuck in her torso. She presses a clean cloth over the spot while she eats all 10 of the new berries and watches Gan-Re and Finley finish searching the brigands' bodies. She feels the healing power of the berries suffuse her body as she eats, and when she's done, she feels considerably refreshed. Val gathers her things, equips her shield, and takes out her star chart. If she has any time before Gan-Re and Finley are ready, she practices casting shape water to create ice blocks of various shapes and to throw around water. She's hoping that she can use the spell to flip a boat or to fill it with water.
(OOC: This takes her an additional 12 rounds or so. I've applied the additional 10 points of healing.)
When Finley and Gan-Re look like they're ready to go, Val smiles and gives them a thumbs up. It's a little difficult to tell how injured she still is while she's still in a glowing starry form, but it looks like she's moving normally and is no longer wincing. Val cannot hear them, but she knows that the original plan was to go to the top of the stump at the center of the Brigands' Tollway. When she checked that area in the form of a squirrel, she told them that there were only 2 brigands (archers) on top of the stump, but she's not sure how many additional brigands are still in boats on the water or on the causeways around the stump. She just hopes that now that Agdon is dead, the rest of them don't put up such a stiff fight.
Their approach will not be subtle or sneaky this time since Val will be walking up the causeway, glowing with radiant light and surrounded by whirling winds that probably whip up the water below them, too. Val assumes that one of the other two will want to walk in front, but she'll follow closely enough that she can help look out for traps and also keep the Warding Wind close enough that they can stay within the effect if they want. Presumably, at least one of them will want to stay outside of the area of effect at first so that someone in the party can still hear.
Finley smiles at Valrieth and tugs his beard as they all arrive at the lift and gives her a thumbs up as Gan-Re sneaks up. He puts his hand on the lever and waits to see if Valrieth is ready to go up, if she is he'll pull it.

Valrieth's eyes get large as Finley puts his hand on the lever. She holds up her hand in a "stop" signal.
Then she looks looks at her star chart and says a short prayer for guidance and spends a moment checking the lever and the lift for traps. Or, if the lift itself doesn't show signs of frequent use, to see whether there's some other (secret) way to get to the top of the stump, and the lift is just a decoy.
Val notices there are tiny seems in the floor of the lift and the lever has faint scratch marks as if it was pushed inwards and not flipped.
Valrieth examines the lift and the lever closely by the light of her own glowing starry form. Val furrows her brow and purses her lips, thinking, unsure whether she's interpreting what she sees correctly. She slings her shield over her back to free up her hand.
Standing this close to Val, Finley cannot hear anything over the noise of the Warding Wind. Val tugs on Finley's arm as she squats down. She tries to point out the seams in the floor. She makes eye contact with Finley and then wraps her left hand over her right fist. She pantomimes lifting her fist into the air with her left hand, and once she her fist is at her eye level, she opens left hand and keeps it up by her eye-level, hand now open. She opens her eyes and mouth wide with an exaggerated scream as she watches her right fist slowly drop from her left hand down to the ground. When her hand reaches the ground, she opens it, palm up, and simultaneously makes a funny face (head titled to the side with her tongue lolling out the side of her mouth).
She stands up and gestures at the lever that controls the lift. Without touching it, she pantomimes flipping the lever and then shakes her head. Then she pantomimes pushing at it with her thumb and nods. Then she looks at Finley questioningly to see whether he understands what she was trying to convey.
If he does not prompt for additional clarification, she points at his rope of climbing and then gestures like she's tying a belt or sash around her waist.
"Ahh."Finley nods and lets go of the lever and glances at the floor and then looks for something for his rope to latch onto. He tells the rope to latch onto a sturdy branch 50 or 60 ft. in the air. He then holds a hand above his eyes as he looks for Gan-Re and looks back to Val and flaps his arms a bit and points up. He then puts his hands on his hips and taps his foot like he's waiting, after a moment he gives a thumbs up and motions to the rope in a climbing fashion an nods. He was never good at charades.

(OOC: I imagine that the lift uses some sort of pulley system, in which case there should be a crossbeam or branch at the top where the pulley is attached. If so, Finley could use the rope to attach to that same crossbeam. According to the original description, the top of the stump is about 25 ft. above us: causeway is 5 ft. above the water, and the stump rises about 30 ft. above the water.)

Valrieth steps back about 10 ft. from the lift so that Finley is no longer covered by the Warding Wind. No longer deafened by the wind, Finley can call out to Gan-Re or talk to him if needed.
For @Weathervision, in case you need to move things along while I'm offline:
Valrieth isn't sure whether Finley meant for Gan-Re to fly her up to the top of the stump or whether she should be climbing up the stump with the rope. If Gan-Re tries to lift her, she's fine with that. I assume that the Warding Wind counts as difficult "terrain" for Gan-Re's flying, but he should still be able to lift her 25 ft. in one round without dashing.
If Gan-Re doesn't try to lift her, she will try to climb the stump with Finley's rope. She'll try to stay either 12 ft. in front of or behind Finley so that the Warding Wind does not interfere with his climbing.
Originally, Val meant to indicate that they could use the lift, but in case she was wrong about the trap, she wanted Finley to use the rope like a belaying line to limit how far they could fall in case the lift floor opened up. For example, tie the rope to the roof of the lift itself and then tie it around each of them. That way, if the lift door opened, they'd just be dangling there, still inside the lift.
Gan-Re flicks the blood from his axe onto the floor “Funny you should say that, because a little old lady called Jingle Jangle had some things that was hers, but that didn’t stop longscarf from beating her to the ground and taking it. Were you there? I would ask longscarf but I just cut off his head, I have it here if you want to see it. Now put down your weapons or I will put you down!”
