The disturbance has caught the attention of several carnival enforcers wielding candy cane crossbows and chocolate longswords. 4 start scanning the area and Kettlestream knows when she is outmatched.
She stops running and alters her appearance to a black haired human. She walks away. The party can easily catch up to her now.
Hisashi (assuming Val and Finlay will grab the Kenku) runs towards Gan-Re and checks to make sure they're breathing. She proceeds to spit on her hand and slap him awake. "Mr. Gan, wakey wakey lazy bones!" regardless of if he wakes up, she then joins the group by the Kenku

Valrieth looks relieved to see Hisa suddenly appear as Kettlestream walks away. She says to Finley and Hisa, "Someone stay with Gan-Re until he's awake? I'm going to follow Kettlestream. Remember your whistles!"
Gan-Re wakes up in utter confusion. The cool down of his rage and his sudden sleep leaves him a bit disoriented. All he can say as he follows the others is 'Is there spit on my face?'

Kettlestream whispers "Don't make a scene. Why are you following me?" Her voice is a silky man's voice.
"Well, we need your help. Candlefoot, a clown who works at the carnival? He said that you took his voice, and he's very sad about it. We wanted to see whether we could get it back for him."
Gan-Re calls out in Auran 'Hey Kenku. Good trick with the cloud, how many more of them have you got in you? Either you can talk to us or we can go back to grappling. I can do this all day'

Gan see's Hisashi wiping her hands clean as he makes the comment on the spit. She listens to the group as they discuss with the Kenku a few feet away just in case.
"I need the voice more than that silly clown. My mission is too important. I won't say more unless you can convince me any of you are trustworthy" says Kettlestream in that silky man voice.
"Oh! We're on a quest ourselves! Maybe we can help each other."
Valrieth glances around to see whether her companions have all caught up and whether any of those carnival enforcers are nearby. If her party is close enough to hear her conversation with the kenku, she tries to give them a questioning look. How much should they reveal to Kettlestream?
The enforcers have stopped looking. They are telling the carnival goers that it was just an act and it was all part of the show. Most believe them, while others remain skeptical. Eventually the carnival returns to its more relaxed atmosphere.
Kettlestream abruptly stops and glares at Val "How do you know that name? Did you harm her in some way? Who do you work for?"
Val stops and looks a bit startled. She practically squeaks, "No!" She double checks that her friends are with her now, which seems to give her more confidence. "We've come to find her. To get to Prismeer and make sure that she's OK."
