Finley stares at his old self and says, "Gan-Re, my boy. We've hit th' end o' our road. Ah think we should go back ta th' others." He shakes his head and looks up at his friend,"Let's hope we all make it ta tha' age."

Gan-Re: Aarakocra Barbarian - The Wild Beyond the Witchlight | DM - Keys of Empire
Those that took the right path sees a Halfling man staring worriedly into a mirror. Inside the mirror you see a little girl with a pig mask whispering something to Rubin. She offers her hand and Rubin slowly reaches for it.
What do you do?
Something about this scene seems eerie and wrong to Val. Mirrors that show your reflection as a different age seemed like a clever bit of faerie magic. Mirrors that show a different person who is apparently trying to pull you into the mirror? Val's nightmares are sure to feature this scene tonight! Val feels her fur standing on end, and she calls out, "Rubin, don't touch it! Hisa, stop him!"
If there's room to move past them, Val will move to put herself between the Rubin and the mirror girl, hoping that HIsa is able to restrain him or that she herself is able to stop him from getting to the mirror. If she cannot move past them, she will try to help Hisa grapple/restrain Rubin.
(In case it matters, I rolled initiative in the game log: 14.)
"Aye, ye lookt like a king and I yer noble advisor." Finley agreed as he gives the reflection another look and pulls out a couple more gold coins to create an illusory copy of their older selves and hands Gan-Re his profile. "All ye 'ave ta do is think about seein' th' image whilst holdin' th' coin and think about it goin' away ta remove it. Now let's see if th' others found that halflin'!"

Val stands in front of the mirror and feels an unearthly chill as the little girls finger brushes against his back. Rubin seems to snap out of when Hisashi grabs him. The little girl then vanishes.
Rubin yells "Leave me be, I have lost my love's heart."

(OOC: I assume that it didn't do any damage though?)
Rubin seems to snap out of when Hisashi grabs him. The little girl then vanishes.
Valrieth shivers at the girl's touch. She whirls around and casts Produce Flame. She raises her hand in front of her, flame flickering in her palm. She's relieved to see that the strange mirror girl is gone.
Rubin yells "Leave me be, I have lost my love's heart."
The threat gone, Val lets the flame go out and turns back to Rubin. Things seem amusing again, and she cannot help but laugh at the idea that this halfling was carrying his lover's heart and just misplaced it, like you might lose a book or a pen. "No, no, no. There must be some faerie magic at work here. I think that you were enchanted. Your lover is right outside, and she looked so worried. Here, let us take you to her."
The couple turns and looks at he party now united again at the entrance of the hall of mirrors. "Thank you for helping us"
Valrieth excitedly hops up and down in place, clapping her hands as Rubin puts the ring on Ween's finger.
"You're welcome! You must be destined to be together. Fate put you in our path today so that we could help! I'm sure that you'll be very happy together!"
The mime smiles a bit and tries to say something, but no words come out. He wrings his hand in frustration.
Val bites her lips and tries to control her giggles while looking at Candlefoot's glum face. She knows that he is really frustrated and unhappy, but she bursts out in a loud, sputtering laugh when Gan-Re asks him to explain how he lost his voice.
When she recovers, she says, "Candlefoot, you're a mime, right? Can you show us how we can help you? Like the kids' game of charades?"
If no one gets it, maybe Valrieth finally remembers: "I just don't get it. Oh! I know! No...I mean, I don't know what Candlefoot was trying to mime. But I do have a pen and paper in my backpack! Candlefoot, can you write?"

“Hmm I mean dis is da hall of illusions.. cud be messin with his brain no?”
Yes no damage.
Rubin follows Val and Hisashi out of the hall of illusions.
Ween his girlfriend gives him a teary hug. "I am sorry I did not mean to laugh, I don't know why I did. If you will have me the answer is yes"
Rubin then starts crying as well and gives Ween a kiss before retrieving the ring and putting it on Ween's finger.

Candlefoot the mime tries to communicate using his mime skills to tell you what has happened to him. (Like a game of charades)
