Killian enters the room, to have a look around, holding his torch that he had cast light on earlier. (OOC with the light can I see all four walls and ceiling of this library)

Killian steps forward into the room. He attempts to use his torch to illuminate the entire room, but as he enters the flames on the torch snuff out. The magical light of other members of the party are still working, though it's light cannot reach opposing walls. The shelves seem to carry on into the darkness, and the ceiling appears to be illuminated by the spell (around 20 feet above the ground).

I had cast light on my torch when we started walking with Marishall was using it sorta as a flashlight. Not sure if an hour has passed since casting it.
Killian will look for any books / parchment or work stations (desks, tables) Perception 20

Mara much like Killian will look for books or anything else that will give any history to the place, glad that her new magically ingrained darkvision allowed her to see in the room with ease for the most part.
As much as Rumble would've liked to add the others in turning over the library, the earth genasi knew better. So, he took up position before the doors, taking over the rear guard position for Orianna and the others until someone chose to relieve him of duty.

Dark takes to the air and soars around the room. Unfortunately the narrow passages to the side with the bookshelves would prove too narrow for an ease of flight.
Rumble takes a defensive position by the door the group just entered, while Orianna and Leojym head to the next door. Leojym checks the door; it seems similar to the one Orianna just opened for them. Nothing special, no insignia or emblems, and no signs of locks or traps.
Darnell and Simmeat keep towards the centre of the room, weapons drawn, and look out for any sort of traps. They don't see any immediate threat, though Simmeat feels something off about this room. Checking the part of the room they are in, he notices that the stone floor in the open part of the room is different to the tiles that line the floor between the book cases.
Mara and Killian look down the narrow passages for any signs of paper or clues to this location. As they progress further away from the main part of the room, they begin to hear some low mutterings and whispers, like an echo in the back of their minds. As they get further to the end of the book case isles, the noises begin to get louder, as if a thousand voices were trying to whisper their secrets into their heads at once, making it unintelligible.
(Please can Mara and Killian make a DC 13 Intelligence saving throw, taking 1 psychic damage and deafened on a failed save)
"I think there's something off about the stone here. The stone in this part of the room is different than the tiles between the bookcases. Any idea why that would be the case?" Simmeat whispered to the others.
It is almost as if two completely different sections were stuck together at the seams. The stone on the floor where Simmeat currently stands is the same as the hallway preceding it. However, the stone tiles where the book cases begin appear newer, with less dust clung to them, and more of a modern pattern (by modern, it can probably be dated to maybe a thousand years ago as opposed to the prehistoric age of the other stone)
"The tiles by the bookcases are practically brand new compared to the stone right here," Simmeat said, lightly stomping on the ground. "It looks like it's about a thousand years old or so by the bookcases. It almost seems like... like someone grabbed a completely different building or construction and just attached it to this one. Like a modern extension." Sim walked a bit closer to the bookcases and felt along the walls there.
"If this is an extension... maybe it's closer to an exit... I wish I had my tools, I might be able to tell us something about the composition of the walls around us." The dwarf said, lamenting the absence of his tool belt.
