"Well, I'm ready to go!"Darnell remarks. But most of the others have started off, so, turning a slight shade of crimson for the second time in as few minutes, the halfling hurries after them.
The group leaves Kazziin's camp, the Gretta and Hallens taking the chest again as they follow behind the group. Cresting a few more dunes, the group sees ahead of them appears to be a lone cactus atop the next dune. It appears that around the area of the cactus are three tiny tornadoes of sand and dust, swirling here and there.
(Whomever is leading the group, so one person, can they make a Survival check?)
Rumble chuckles at the question, but doesn't answer one way or another to the first question. "Fate works in mysterious ways, Mister Killian. Don't necessarily need a goddess whisper'n in yer ear to tell ya that. Tho' there is a comfort there that not er'rebody is bound to find just alone in themselves."His half-smile falters at the admission, but quickly recovers. "Fact of the matter is, we still don't know fully what drew us to these crazy place. But be it the hands of greater powers or just dumb luck we wound up here, we're here now. So, less worry'n bout the hows and more worry to leave'n this place one way or another better fer everyone, eh?" He taps Killian's shoulder and gives him another sidelong smile.
"Hey Darnell? I know this might come off as a bit insensitive, but.. you can ride on my shoulder if ya want?" He calls back to him. Whether Darnell does so or not, Rumble will soon turns his attention back to keeping an eye out for danger as he lead the group along with Killian.
(Are players to allow to use the help with the roll? If not, since Killian is walking beside Rumble, he can do it since Rumble is still 'exhausted' atm, and would probably be better of just assisting.)

"Thanks, but I'd rather stay off of your shoulder. Might fry like an egg on your metal skin!"Darnell chortles at his own joke, then makes his way to the front of the group.
"Would you like me to help navigate, though?" he asks.
Dark would most likely try flying slightly above the group so I can make a survival check. I would only fly about 10 feet above unless otherwise stated.

Killian looks up as dark is flying just over head, 'sure glad we got him here being able to scout from above is a good advantage' thinking to him self.
"Do you see that up ahead Dark" he yells out as he points towards the cactus and swirling dust tornados. (OOC: Are they large or just as ground level like when leaves swirl around outside in the wind?)

(I would've allowed the help, but it looks like you didn't need it.)
Dark, leading the group a little further, but keeping to the air, notes that there are some footprint tracks that are faintly visible between the grooves that are left where the whirling pieces of sand have travelled. It seems that these phenomena are tracing around where the footsteps were, almost like following a track that they have somewhat gone into a loop around.
From a distance, the group reckons that each of the swirling pieces of sand/dust is around twelve feet high from tip to top, and spreads out around seven to eight feet at the largest point (the top), but narrows down to barely anything at its bottom.
(Sorry for not posting. Been very unwell this past week and trying to get back into posting.)
Once Dark has re-grouped with everyone, Rumble starts rubbing his chin. "Mr. K did mention the possibility of more of dem sand creatures. Think what those little dust devils might be causing a ruckus ahead? Maybe even air elementals?" Rumble asks of the group. "If so... Dark? Think you can suss out a few dunes we can circle around just in case?" Rumble asks curiously.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Killian looks ahead as well and thinks back to water sprouts he's seen on the seas which turned out to be water sprites. "If that is the case Rumble's right let's see if we can avoid them" Killian turns and looks around to the sides and behind them to see if there are any others swirling around.
"I have to agree with Killian on this. If we can avoid getting involved in more combat then it is a good idea to do so. Some of us are injured or need time to recover before we get into another battle." Mara says as she looks to the two of them with her eyes raised curiously.
Fortunately the whirling sandstorms appear to not have basic vision that the group has, otherwise they would've noticed the large group of people at the bottom of the sand pile. If the group wishes to take a wide birth and keep a safe distance away, it will take a little longer, but the group can do so without any immediate threat by the looks of things.
Dark says, “if you all want I can fly out wide to see if I can draw them off the path. Maybe they will pursue me far enough for you all can get through. I can join you after you get ahead of these miniature tornados.”

Rumble just chews on his lips for a second or two before shaking his head. "No. Best not to chance it just yet. Even if ya can outfly dem tornadoes. We don't know if they got other tricks up there sleeves. Let's just give'm that wide-berth fer now, alright?" He says as he motions for the others to follow him around on the wide-course. "Let's play quiet to. Don't wanna set'em off." He adds in a stage whisper.

"Alright its settled than." Killian follows suit next to rumble and starts the path around the dune. Taking out the water skin and taking a modest drink. Not knowing how long they will be in the hot sun, but having been walking for quite sometime he notices his lips are dry, his mouth is dry and he isn't really sweating. All signs that dehydration is looming around every dune, but better be safe than engage in battle expending precious energy. "I suggest we all take a drink as we move, dont guzzle it. Just enough to keep yer wits about cha." He passes the water skin off to whoever accepts.
