Alex waits as the group scout does their thing. As they leave and go check another tunnel, Alex actually facepalms when Grrzark leaves to go check the sulphuric spring, with two others in tow.
"Oh, my, ******* god." He exclaims under his breath in an unparalleled level of exasperation. "Why?" He sighs looking at the heavens, as if hoping some deity would provide an answer. "Why are we splitting the party? It never, ever, goes well."
He stands in indecision on what to do. If he went to the scout he risks alerting their presence because while he could be sneaky, he was very out of practice. Or go to the spring? If there's nothing there, what are they going to do? Get naked, dip in the spring? Their operation requires stealth and cunning - smelling like rotten eggs is kinda not stealthy. How dense are these fools?
Perception Roll: 10 [rolled in Game Log]
Not hearing anything and not really able to make a decision he just stands there and waits.

Normally, Grrzark would be overjoyed at the appearance of giant frogs. They were good eating, the legs especially. But now they were biting him and that would make anyone angry. And so, with a great bellow, he begins to rage (Bonus action: Rage). The swelling of his muscles, the blind rage in his eyes, the steam coming out of his nostrils all indicate his descent into the martial madness. He does his best to shrug off the grip of the frog holding him (Athletics: 11).
Phodoxia moves into the northeast tunnel, and after 20 feet the tunnel opens into another chamber. The sand underfoot thins out and gives way to a smooth stone floor. The chamber has a ceiling that bristles with thousands of tiny stalactites, like spines on a giant sea creature. The floor lies in rounded peaks and troughs like waves on a wind-tossed pond, but the stone is smooth to the touch.
Here and there on the floor, heaps of seaweed fill some of the low spots, while a faint but putrid scent fills the air. Unfortunately, for Phodoxia, she is not as perceptive as she hopes to be, the form of a mean-looking Troglodyte coming out of one of the heaps of seaweed and slashing her on the arm, drawing blood, before she can react.
In the chamber with the Giant Frogs, Rasen takes one step closer to meeting his maker, while Grrzark frees himself from the sticky maw of one of the large amphibians. Solace casts Sacred Flame at one of the frogs, but the beast is able to avoid being struck. The Giant Frogs all take turns biting at the two standing heroes, but none of them can seem to find paydirt.
Alex and Tark remain on the beach by the water, waiting to hear some news of what is in the tunnels.
Solace is once again attacked by the frogs, she shouts out in pain as one finds a spot between her armor, drawing blood and almost causing her to fall. She batters the biting one away with her shield and grips her holy symbol as she falls to her knee. A whispered prayer is lets out to Wee Jas in this chaos and divine energy lights up the Tiefling in a flash of light, Solace now returned to her full height, a confident, but wary look on her face. She prepares to defend herself further, trying to find the next action to take.
Phodoxia screeches as a horrid thing undulates out of the cave wall and attacks her quite painfully. "RUDE!" she screams, and disengages, scrambling away and dashing back down the tunnel, and into the room with the fluted column, heading for the tunnel back to the beach. If it chases me, at least the others will be there and can help me with it!She thinks in full confidence that the party is waiting for her back on the beach.
Action to Dash Bonus Action to Disengage (Nimble Escape)
Alex and Tark continue to sit on the beach, wondering what is happening. And why the others haven't returned yet.
Phodoxia runs from the Troglodyte as fast as she can, headed back towards the chamber with the fluted column. As she makes her towards the column, several snares lying in wait on the floor that were previously hidden to her Goblinoid eyes spring to life, one of them catching her around an ankle and hoisting her towards the ceiling, leaving her dangling there, upside-down.
Solace spends a moment healing herself, while Rasen slips closer to death. Grrzark swings his axe at one of the Giant Frogs, the blade catching the beast but not killing it.
3 Giant Frogs gang up on Solace, and the remaining 3 gang up on Grrzark. Maws open and close, the frogs trying to bite into a meal, but only Solace takes any damage; drool and blood pour from another new wound on her body.
Phodoxia is shocked from her dash to safety by being suddenly, and violently, strung up in the air. Lights flash before her eyes as the blood rushes to her head, and, stunned for a moment, she then finds herself dangling there as her senses slowly re-orient. Ow. The leg that seems to be holding her up feels like it's nearly been torn from its socket. Phodoxia huffs, spinning there, trying to see how far up she is, if her pursuer can reach her, and if she can reach anything from where she is. A vision crosses her eyes momentarily, of the woodland creatures running, leaping over the hunter's snare... and the soft white glow of the unicorn stopping, turning to look at her. She feels the soft white light grow until it's covering her, and then the ache in her leg, and the burning in her arm from the troglodyte's claws, fade a little. She focuses on the tunnel she was trying to get to--the one back to the beach. The beach is right there! Only twenty feet from this room... would it be safe to shout? Maybe I'd better wait and see if I'm still being chased.
The goblin hangs there, looking down, as the soft glow creeps down her arms towards her hands. She keeps her eye on the tunnel she came out of... waiting to see if that ugly thing is still chasing her down.
Healing Light - 1 HP restored. Bonus action.
Sacred Flame readied. Action. Trigger: If pursuing Troglodyte comes into range AND if it sees her. If it doesn't see her, she'll try to stay quiet and unnoticed by it.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Tark rolled a 10 for Perception.)
Tark had enchanted a sea shell to have a 6 second loop of the sound of water frothing against the boats. Now that he is done showing it to Alex, he turns it off. With it now being quieter, he finally notices something. "Inside that corridor... that sounds like one of the goblin's shouting in alarm. They must be in trouble, let's go!"
Tark runs 25' down the passageway used by Grrzark and the other two. (Tiny gnome legs.)
Seeing the three of them in combat, Tark casts Create Bonfire (range 60') just past that group, to hopefully create a barrier to discourage those oversized amphibians.
(If any frogs were in that 5' square area when cast, or move into that area on its turn, or end its turn in that space, DEX save vs. DC 13 or take fire damage. Because the dice roller hates our party, in the Game Log it was a 1 for the d8, but the foes don't know that.)
And then uses his Action to run another 25', so he barely sees what is going on ahead.

When Tark runs off, Alex tries to hear what Tark heard but doesn't hear anything. With a shrug, he casts Mage Armor on himself and follows.

I talked to Scarecrow and it apparently got hacked. So he killed it. There are also some other issues, so he said he's letting the game go for the time being. I'm sure he'll say more if he is so inclined.
I am old geek and Greyhawk has a special place in my heart I am inclined to offer you all this:
I could acquire the adventure... I am pretty sure that it shouldn't be hard to find it as pdf in any of the online stores out there and I could take the DM mantle until Scarecrow eventually comes back. Would you be up to it?
I would PM him to let him know this if we all agree.
