Brade eyes the goblins suspiciously but turns away for now to stick with the others.
”Well, now what do we do? Personally, I have instructions to root out evil wherever I come across it, and if you ask me, there seems to be sufficient evil in this tower to investigate further.”
"Investigate further where? We looked at the tombs where the skeletons were reanimated, and there's not really much there."

Kiana yells in the direction of the goblins, trying to get the attention of one of them. "How many rooms are out in that direction? Are there any weird looking things over there, or rooms you haven't explored? We might not be leaving until we figure out what made those skellies decide to come back, so a couple of us might have to go over there and look for things. Just a couple! We don't want a fight."

With the idea sending out somebody to talk with the goblins, Kiana blurts out, "I vote not Brade! I mean, uh, oops. I didn't want it to come out that way. What I mean is, you see more apt to fight than to talk, especially with those guys. You're very good at fighting, though. Definitely your forte. It's just, I don't think we really want a fight. Not with them, anyways.
"Let it be known that I have the ability to send a message to somebody back here in case things get hairy with the goblins, or with whatever else might be over there. If we are going to send a couple people up ahead, I could be one of them."

At the end of the hall, where the tunnels come together a goblin comes to stand, probably drawn by all the yelling. The torch, left burning from last night, still illuminates the intersection. A shaft of daylight in the hall behind where you had your face to face encounter with the goblins last night, suggests more to the ruins that you have seen.
(ie its a 4 way intersection. You've come from the south, there are branches to the east and west, the east of which at least contains goblins. The north branch, where some of you saw shapes disappearing into the darkness following your initial encounter with the goblins, is now more plainly lit with the dim but unmistakable light of day)
“I would feel better if we look into this some more. Otherwise there will be other travelers that come here in the future and may have a pretty bad night.”
“Yes, your worship,” he says to Kiana, “I should not be the one to do the talking. But I could come and stand behind whoever is doing the talking. Just in case things go sideways. It may be best if we stick together, as a show of strength.”
"Welllllll" Colm chimed in, a bold look of confidence on his face. "No offense Kimo, Kiana" he began, nodding to each of them in turn. "But if its PERSUADING that needs doing, I cant see how there is a better man for the job than me."
He let the idea linger in the air for a moment then added. "Although if its goblins that you're persuading, and there is a threat of harm.... I MAY not be your man."
Kiana responds to Colm's suggestion, "Well, you've certainly persuaded me on the matter, so that says only good things for your abilities. We can send you and Brade down the hall, the face and the muscle. You see anything odd or get in a pickle, you call the rest of us over so that we can help. As long as you're within range, I'll send a message spell to you every minute to check in. By the way, Colm, do you even know how to use that rapier you carry all the time? I don't think I've ever seen it unsheathed."
Kiana moves her hand to clutch the holy symbol around her neck, as her other hand moves more slowly into a pouch on her hip. She takes her hand off of the amulet and points it in the general direction that she knows the goblins are in, whispering a message. "A couple of us are going to be moving around over there for a bit to investigate. We don't want trouble, we just want to know what caused that monster mash you saw the aftermath of earlier. If you don't get in our way, all we're going to do is prevent those skeletons from coming back and make your home a hell of a lot safer. If you do, we might have to fight, which helps nobody. Only a couple of us will go right now so that you aren't threatened, but if they find anything be warned that the rest of us will follow."

Colm blushed for just a moment as he gave Kiana a long thoughtful look. Then he puffed up, putting his hand on his rapier and stepping to the front.
"I assure you woman I have all the skill required to put my sword to its proper use"
"As many can attest I have been known to sooth the savage beast ." he continued, swirling in a dramatic fashion as he seemingly plucked coins from the air
"To make one coin where there were two" he announced as he smashed the coins together in a feat of ledgerdomain that left one of the coins suddenly missing.
"And if you desire" he looked straight at the cleric with a taunting face, as if daring her to call him out "to see it... unsheathed perhaps I can arrange a more personal demonstration of my prowess when my good friend.... Brade was it? Brade and I return."
With apologies to the reader, and to the poor bard, who no doubt cringes in horror at my terrible rendition of a seducer in his absence. I do trust I played the part appropriately given his back story, and didnt offend anyone.
DM - Im a bit confused Kiana's post has me thinking you want to investigate the other side of the door (in the crypt, where you first started). You dont need to involve the goblins for that. Colm does have some observations from that room he hasnt shared with the group, and Kimo alluded to some more work there as well, which may or may not bear fruit. Its also possible the skeletons already await you there.
If on the other hand you want to send one or more of you into the dark hall toward the lit intersection of the goblins and into the halls beyond - well we can do that too.
Brade will follow whoever takes the lead, trying to look menacing though to be honest those that observe him closely may see it more as simply a sullen mood.

"Hey, Brade right? You look like you could use a hug, or at least someone to talk to"
The sound of slow, sarcastic clapping emanates from around Colm, though Kiana's hands make no motion that would cause it (despite her unimpressed eyes heavily implying it). From behind him, a spectral hand reaches into his coin purse and pulls out a copper, which it holds between two fingers in front of his face. "You truly have a talent for losing money quickly. Not many people brag about that, you know." The copper is flipped in Colm's direction. "You should get going now. Expect Brade to be getting regular check-in messages, which he may or may not relay to you."

Brade looks at his companions strangely for a moment before saying,
“Oh I dunno, maybe the goblins?? Have you forgotten that they filled us full of arrows? For all we know it was them that set the skeletons upon us!”
