"The Orphanage..."  Ix'altha thinks to himself. He recalls an interesting rumor that he had heard recently about that very place. Maybe these people know something? But first we must fend off these alley brutes. Ix'altha will attempt to make a sneak attack with his sling.

Alben's Firebolt fizzles in his hand. Ix'altha bullet hits his target. 

(I think that's it unless Shadow wants to join in. I will post the Thugs when I get home tonight)

Shadow spoke his piece and kept walking back home.  With the weirdness of being kicked from the bar before close means bad omens in the night, not a time to be messing in dark alleys.  And only one person made a single comment that was not enough to change his mind.  “Fools likely to get themselves killed going into alleys on a night like tonight”

The two remaining thugs turn a charge a Tyris. Both attacking him while trying to put him between themselves and that great sword. (They fail to position themselves, leaving themselves wide open from the  back).

Thug 1 Attack: 15 Damage: 8

Thug 3 Attack: 7 Damage: 7

Thug 3 stabs Tyris in the chest, missing all vital organs

This isn't Laladak's first streetfight. These kids think a guy like him wont strike them in the back? It's time he truly worshiped, It's time he obeyed the rules of war. Laladak rolls into position behind Thug 3 and swings his sword across splitting the rain with a

"Beeftown Slice!" Attack: 18 Damage: 23

Laladak says to the Thug "Listen Turkey. Your rumble's with Me." 

You droped thug 3. So you can use GWM to attack thug 1

Laladak uses the momentum of his last strike and spins into position to attack Thug 1. The blade swings across.

That drops thug 1. (What is the GWM reroll? I don't see that in the discretion)

(It's great weapon fighting style. I can reroll 1s and 2s on gw damage)

The priest introduces himself as Ruphus a Cleric of St. Cuthbert. He thanks the party for helping him and seeing that Tyris is hurt he casts casts cure wounds 6 + 1 on him. As he finishes with Tyris he says 

"I was heading back to the temple when they jumped me. At first I thought they were going to rob and kill me, but they just wanted to scare me away from trying to find out what happened to the children.  Can you escort me back to the temple?" 

Laladak wipes the blood from his sword and sheathes it. "Sure thing. I can take you back to the temple. Whats going on with the children now?" 

Tyris thanks the priest for the healing.  Are you all right?  Are the children okay?

Laladak saw Tyris take a knife to the chest. "Are you sure you are ok? That strike looked serious." 

Tyris rubs his chest where he was stabbed, parting the hole in his shirt to reveal what appears to be an old mostly-healed injury.  "Im fine after Ruphus' healing."

Alben looks around, a little embarrassed he coughs in his hand. "Well, i'm glad that all worked out." He turns to the priest to hear about the orphanage. He spares a quick glance at the bodies idly wondering if they had anything valuable.

While the priest is helping Tyris he looks over at Ix'altha and startles "Well I have never seen anything like you before, what are you, if you don't mind me asking?"
