Sinak steps up to the group, gathered outside, waiting until the coast is clear. He stands on his tiptoes, looking back into the bar. He seems to be talking to himself, under his breath. “Had her right where I wanted her. Big ugly oaf.” He stops and looks at everyone. A passive blank look on his face. “Well, what did you find out? Where to next? Where are you going to get me into trouble next, Ozzy?” He fake swats at him with his hand, giving him a smirk. “Last time I’ll try to cover for you, trouble maker. Almost got me in deep with that big galoot back there.” He pauses for a minute, putting his hand up to his chin. “I coulda taken her.” he says with a none too confident voice.
Sinak, you noticed a number of patrons leave the Dragon after the potential fight. You can try approaching them if you like. With your passive perception you note that there has obviously been a number of fights on the streets.
Anyone could make an active perception or Survival check to look for more.
There are also a number of other houses and Chester's Chest, where you can look for witnesses.
Anyone can also make a history check (add in any mitigating background details you want) on the Zents and Zhentarim hideouts.
Sinak doesn't notice anything more with a detailed check. There have clearly been a number of fights in this area, but when or who might have been involved is hard to tell.
The area outside Chester’s Chest does seem cleaner and clear of any blood or trash. You get the impression that someone is keeping it clean.
Let me know if other party members accompany Sinak into Chester’s Chest.
Chester’s Chest of Wonders has obviously been decorated in a dragon and dragon-kin motif. In addition to the Wyvern Skull you see numerous carvings of dragons and dragon scales. The shelves are packed with potions and minor magical items. You obviously are not going to find any legendary artefacts here, but the place seems newly refurbished and a step above what you normally find in the Dock Ward. The gnome behind the gnome-sized counter is dressed in overly elaborate mage robes embossed with sequin dragons, as you enter the shop he introduces himself ‘Welcome to Chester’s Chest of Wonders, the finest shop in all of Waterdeep. I am Chester Stage the renowned Alchemist and now proprietor of Chester’s Chest of Wonders. How can I help you with your purchases today?’

Eilla follows after Sinak into Chester's Chest of Wonders. She can't help but smile at the gnome's robes. "We're here looking for information, actually, but there's something in it for you. You seem to be a fan of dragons, yes?" She produces a gold coin of Waterdavian minting, the kind with a regal dragon on the back. "In the past few days, did you see a halfling walking home a drunk noble, possibly being tailed by some unsavory types?"
Ballen will follow the others into the shop but will keep to herself and listen in while perusing the other items up for sale, none of which she can even remotely afford right now.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sinak smiles at Chester and walks among the items, looking at each one, but clearly listening to the conversation and Eilla’s line of questioning. He looks through things in a distracted way, but looking for any useful odds or ends.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Osborne doesn’t really know anything more about Zent’s or where their hideouts may be.
Osborne can tell that there has been a fight near the Dragon in the past few days, there doesn’t look like enough blood for someone to have been killed.
In the shop Chester notices Osborne’s interest and says ‘Welcome, welcome. We have all sorts of merchandise for any situation. From our best selling healing potions to acids, antitoxins and even alchemist's Fire. For the aspiring alchemist's we sell ingredients, kits and even recipes. We have a few magic items that we hold for our more privileged customers.’ Chester gives the party a look and says ‘We even have my own Chester’s Value range of potions, not as powerful as the regular kind but useful for those on a budget. Why half of Waterdeep wouldn’t be walking around these days without my Value Healing potions.’

Ballen notices the runes and wards mixed in with the dragon carvings. There is also an impressive humanoid Automaton moving among the shelves restocking potions, cleaning and tidying. This would probably be a dangerous place to shoplift.

Noticing that the outside of the shop is clean, Kelytha realises someone must be out here fairly regularly to keep it that way. There's a good chance that person saw or heard something.
Following the others into the shop, she allows Eilla to take the lead on asking questions, and instead peruses the shop.
Sinak takes in everything in the shop, it is almost like the Raven Queen is whispering in his ear. He detects the quality of the potions, whatever else can be said of Chester he is clearly a practised alchemist and even his Value potions seem like they would have some minor healing benefits. There are the standard magic rings and wands, but nothing of note. There are many wards and other magical effects in the shop, including scrying magic on the Wyvern skull.
You notice on a high self numerous research papers and books that Chester has clearly written over the years covering subjects such as ‘Evolution of Drakes’, ‘Alchemist's Fire: Which Bottles are Best’ and ‘How to Distill Unripened ThornBerries’, it doesn’t seem like these are selling as well as the healing potions.
The Automaton also seems very advanced and is performing relatively complex tasks, such as restocking and cleaning, without explicit instructions.
The shop only seems like it is a few years old. Clearly a lot of money has been spent on it. If Chester was a research alchemist, you wonder where he got the money from.

The Automaton raises its head at Eilla’s words and says in a clear voice ‘Maybe I can be of service, while cleaning outside a few nights ago I believe that I may have seen…’
Chester quickly cuts off the Automaton with a curt ‘Thats enough Service’, Chester then addresses Eilla in a cultured voice and says ‘Well we are a shop and things are for sale. Maybe your Dragon has some friends.’
Chester answers Osborne with 'Are you looking for anything in particular? Our magic items are of the higest quality. What sort of budget is Sir thinking of?'
