Sinak, standing to the side, says “Ehhh, Ozzy…. You aren’t here to gamble today. We’ll steer him away from the tables… right?” He looks though the establishment, trying to observe anyone taking undue notice of them, or anything else out of place.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Obsorne knows both. The half-orc is call Tinker Half-Axe. The goliath is often drunk and is either called Burnard or Burn Hard, Obsorne just called him Burny when they were playing card together.
“Oi, Burny hasn’t changed much, has he?” He laughs nervously.
Tinker straightens back up to her full 8ft height and lets out a low chuckle 'Well aren't you being coy all of a sudden Ozzy. Not that I trust a word you say anyway.' She then turns back to Eilla and says 'New tablecloths he promised me, all the way from Amn to spruce up the Dragon.' She looks down at Ozzy and says 'You got my tablecloths Ozzy?'

No. Osborne doesn't have tablecloths in his inventory.
“Oi, uh… if… you don’t know where our halfling friends are… then… we.. w-w-w-weee should beee…. Goin’?”
he is clearly nervous. Not only does he look scared, but he’s blushing as well. He is judging the rest of the party, indicating that he wants to move on from talking to Tinker
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sinak quickly and silently prays to the Raven Queen again, “Your words, from my mouth!” and looks deadpan at Ozzy without missing a beat and interjects, “Ozzy, didn’t you have those tablecloths at the Portal last night? I thought I saw them burn up when my fire bolt aimed at that troll went awry..”

Tinker was about to walk away in a huff at Osborne’s denial, but when she hears about the tablecloths and the troll she turns back slowly leans over the counter once more, looks into Osbornes eyes and says with a tenderness that you didn’t hear before 'Really Ozzy, did you really get me fancy tablecloths all the way from Amn?' she then glares at Sinak and says more aggressively 'And you burnt my tablecloths. And what do you mean Troll?'.
Sinak is now very aware that Tinker obviously spends her days moving large kegs and there is an impressive amount of muscle on her 8th foot frame. You start to understand why the Dragon doesn't have a seperate guard or bouncer.
Several rather rough looking customers start finishing their drinks and either looking for the exit or placing bets on how long Sinak is going to last.

Ballen doesn't recognise her exactly. However Ballen understands how hard it must be to survive as a young girl in a tavern like this, and how hard it makes you. The girl notices Ballen's interest and signals Ballen to come over.
“Oh yeah, a troll climbed up out of the portal, it was quite a to do! Ask Durnan. Actually you can put the cost on my tab there. My name is Joel. I’m sure you’ll be compensated for expenses, we defended the tavern! Not that I’m applying for the position or anything. You look well capable to keep the peace, the Dragon is lucky to have you!” Sinak finishes with a big smile and admiring her biceps.

Ballen keeps half an eye on the exchange going on and looks over at the girl briefly with a nod of understanding, before lifting a small finger toward her and whispering in her mind (casting Message): "Are you alright? What's going on?"
The half-elf girl wanders over to Ballen with exaggerated coolness. She says in hushed tones ‘Neat trick. I can tell you what happened to your halfling for 10 gold. He was the one in here the other day with Joel right? You know Joel the old human Bard, rather than the lying Drow one. For an extra 10 I’ll also stop Tink turning your pet Drow into the next stain on the floor.’
Ballen sees Tinker picking up what you thought was a bench, but is actually a giant great-club. Several patrons start swapping money, apparently some people think they have just lost a bet.

“Y-y-y-yeah…..”
Osborne is slowly steps away from Sinak, and listens in on the bets people are making. Roll for Perception is in game log.
Ballen's eyes flicker over to Tinker for a moment then back and shrugs. "Not my problem he picked a fight with the wrong person. But I don't have much on my right now, better that way, but assuming he--" she nods over at Sinak --"doesn't explode into guts, and we finish this errand we're on, we've been promised an establishment of our own. I doubt I would be there all the time." She gave a slight nod. "Or else I think we've been promised a pretty fair pay."
(Persuasion if needed: 15. Also, Ballen would be willing to deal more if she had more gold on her, but I assume she only has her starting 10g)

Tinker leans down over the bar, looks Osborne in the eyes and says ‘Why you looking for another halfling Ozzy. An old flame perhaps?'

Sinak notices a dirty young half-elf in the corner, keeping a close eye on them. She seems particularly interested in Ballen.
