Kelytha recoils at the sight of the grotesque monsters. Their floating bulbous bodies were comically horrific, but they had killed, and were not to be taken lightly.
Drawing on the Elven part of herself that had always been wary and observant, she studies Gazer A for weaknesses and waits for an opening, raising her sword.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sinak is stunned by these two strange floating beings. He stays crouched behind the crates at the back wall, hoping to attack from their flank. He tries to recall any lore about such beasts and for now takes the dodge action, remaining hidden. He tries to recall any weaknesses of these creatures, any way that would be best to attack. The two of them appear quite deadly to him.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
[OOC] I think that a Nature would be more appropriate. I will use the roll as they would be the same. If you want to determine the magical capabilities of a creature I would accept an Arcana check.
Sinak has heard of Beholders and Beholders-Kin, as they are more common in the under-dark. He recognises these monsters as Gazers. He knows that these vicious little monsters have no true understanding, but can repeat random words or phrases that they have heard. They are resistant to mental attacks, but have less control over their eye beams than regular beholders. He has heard of a range of powers from mental attacks, to cold attacks and even telekinesis.

Kelytha moves to the side and the frost ray goes harmlessly over her head, however that puts her squarely in the path of the Dazing Ray. Her mind is foggy and she finds it hard to move and focus.
Kelytha has half movement and disadvantage on attack rolls.
Kelytha Please make a Concentration check (DC 10) for True Strike.

Eilla ducks under the frost ray. She is pushed back by the Telekinetic ray, however there are boxes immediately behind her and therefore she doesn’t actually move very far.

Ballen feels the spell take effect on both creatures before she moves to cover behind some crates.

Gazer A if up,
The small flying monster says a string of gibberish, you hear words such as “Sewer” and “Halfling” repeated multiple times.
Gazer A focuses on the clearest threats, its eye-stalks thrash madly, clearly not completely under its control.
A Dazing Ray shots toward Kelytha, who must make a Wisdom Saving Throw
A Frost Ray shots towards Eilla, please make a Dexterity Saving Throw
End turn

Gazer B if up,

A Frost Ray shots towards Kelytha, please make a Dexterity Saving Throw

Let's try to skewer Gazer B! (Rapier Attack: 18 Damage: 9)
Eilla thrusts with her Rapier and scores a mighty blow deep into the side of Gazer B, it howls in pain.
