It's a pure slice right through the middle. Two halves of the Gazer fall to the floor like a gross Fruit Ninja knock-off, and the juices from its big eye ooze out into two disgusting puddles.
Sinak breathes a sigh of relief. “Nice one, Eilla! I couldn’t hit the thing. Let’s see what they what happened to these bodies..”. Sinak bends down and starts to search the bodies that the Gazers were munching on, looking to see identifying markers, how they died, what was the reason for this..and to see if they had any trinkets that were missed.

Sinak quickly takes the coin, the rings and the necklace to divide later. He holds his finger up to his lips in a “shush” manner. He spins and tries to locate the sound, moving toward it.

Ballen finally peeks over the boxes and things after it quiets down finally. "Oh! They're dead now? Oh good."She stood back up and walked over to the others, listlessly gazing about the room. "See something?"She asks Sinak casually, crossing her arms a bit.
Sinak looks back to check the status of everyone else, then holds his finger “shush” up to his mouth again, then steps over to the cupboard under the stairs and opens it up, hand on his short sword. “Who goes there? Come out!” He tries to look as intimidating as he can with pink hair.

Sinak bends down and puts his hands up, taking his hand off the sword. He holds a finger to his mouth again, indicating to the captive man that he should keep his voice down. Sinak takes a knee and pulls the gag out of the mouth of the human, saying “Quiet. We are here looking for two fellows, Emilio and also Renaer Neverwinter.. Do you know them? What is your name and how did you end up locked in a cupboard?” Sinak starts to tug and pull him out of there.

The man nods and stops struggling, he relaxes slightly at the questions but is obviously still tense and there is defiance in his eyes as he says in a level tone “Yes I’m Renaer, but I don’t know you and you don’t look like city watch to me. Who sent you and how are you involved in all this?” You notice that he hasn’t stopped trying to get free of his bonds, but the movement is less frantic.

Sinak reaches out and grabs the bonds on Renaer, lifting him up. He draws out his dagger and starts to work on the rope binding his hands, hoping that will help him relax. “C’mon, come over here and meet my friends. We were sent by Joel. Relax. It would help us to know what happened, how were you captured, what happened to you?” He brings him over to everyone else.

You manage to free Renaer from his bonds. He is very stiff, but stands up gratefully. There is blood all over his tattered clothes. “Joel ah, I guess that makes sense. Then I owe you and Joel my thanks. Just give me a moment to collect myself, it's been a tough time.” You see Renaer mutter something to himself and making a few hand gestures, his wounds start to close, he repeats the process and the blood is removed from his clothes. Feeling better Renaer looks round the group and says “Kelytha, is that you? Er, you have a small eye stuck to the side of your face”

Renaer shakes his head and continues. "Thank you for saving me. It's been a rough time." He walks over and kicks one of the corpses "These fools are Zents, if you didn’t already know. They picked up Emilio and myself off the street, it's hard to keep track of time but it was probably a few nights ago I guess. I had a bit to drink and Emilio is an old man, we didn't make a good showing of ourselves. Well they were taking it in turns questioning us. Emilio was up and I was put in the cupboard, they used it like a cell. From what I could hear another gang broke in, killed the Zents and made off with Emilio. We have to rescue him, he's just an old man and he is in trouble because of me."
