Xis "Easy now, easy." He steps up to the guy speaking. Standing next to him at 6'7" he looks down with a toothy grin. "Tell me more about your 'World Serpent'."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"How about this," Violet says with a less-than-friendly smile, revealing her needle-sharp teeth. "Why don't we have a trial by champion? Your leader... or whoever he chooses if he isn't brave enough to do it himself, can fight one of us in a one-on-one match. You choose which one of us to challenge. We win, and you kids can go on your merry way... after dropping, let's say... five gold pieces each as a token of apology for bothering us. You win... well, I guess you can make the the terms if you win."
Violet attempts to use Persuasion (rolling twice, in case someone else wants to throw their two cents in and take the Help action to give her advantage on the roll)
Persuasion: 12 or 18 (if Violet gets advantage on her roll.

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?

Gromedark takes a good look at the kids to see if their ribs are showing (want coins for food) or if they're wearing rags, no shoes, no shirt (want coins for clothes)???
If need Perception roll: 20
If need Investigation roll: subtract 3 from above roll (my Perception is +3 and Investigation is straight d20)
"Why you want our coins? Gromedark think that not fair!"
they look rough ragged clothes, under feed, they got twigs and dirt in their hair and on their faces they look like orphans Who are really struggling to survive out here
(So, did Violet manage to convince/shame the leader into accepting a one-v-one duel instead of a massive brawl that might well get all of these kids killed?)

"You guys are seriously going to reward them for attempted highway robbery?" Violet says in disbelief. "They're going to grow up to be a bunch of thugs unless they learn now that this kind of behavior is unacceptable... and considering who they ran into this time, imagine what they might meet on their next outing if they don't come up with a better way to make a living. I doubt that a necromancer would be nearly as forgiving as we are."
With all of your generous donations the kids give in and lower their weapons and take what you were giving them
Xis you recall that wait what was it’s name again (that’s the 3 natrual 1 this man’s rolled)
Garmuk you a man of faith heard tales back during the days of thunder of the entity know as the world serpent praise by one of the founder races sarruk and their empire which for a time conquered most of the world, however when the empire collapsed so did the religion of the world serpent many scholars believe that during this time the serpent split its self off into different forms avatars if you will such as azergorttha, semonua and others. Curiously the religion was revived by a single lizardfolk from these same jungle you know step in and as such spread throughout Chult it’s also the religion the scale guard use
By now, Namor had his glaive planted in the earth, and was leaning on it, watching with half-amusement as the others placated the youth. He wasn't big on charity himself--he'd tossed coins to street children before, but these brats were more deserving of a physical reminder not to overstep one's bounds, as far as he was concerned. Some would probably die before finding their path, but then, everyone had their time to go--if he just worried about all the death in the world he'd never get anything done.
"Go on, ya brats," the sailor barked, his patience beginning to wear thin. "And if you're smart, and want to live, you'll rethink pulling this stunt on anyone ever again." He glared at the biggest and oldest-looking of the youth while he silently summoned his patron's tentacle right behind the bunch. He had the tentacle reach out and give a light smack to the youth's head as he added, "You never know who you're really messing with."
After Garmuk finishes healing a few kids and making sure the weaker ones are fine.
"Thank you, I can not turn a blind eye to their plight. Many if these kids will die... its part of the balance, just not today. They worship the world serpent they might find referuage with the Scaled Guard till we pass back through and can escort them to the Port if that is what they wish."
Garmuk will walk over to the leader.
"What is you plans young man how are you going to keep these kids alive? I doubt the next party you attempt to rob will be so nice. There is war in this jungle and it gives two $%@# over the likes of you."
"Let me remind you that the lizardfolk were going to sacrifice us all if we couldn't provide identification proving that we were on a diplomatic mission..."Violet points out. "So it would probably be a better idea to send them to the port instead."
