"I have been traveling some time. My village, what's left of it,"Immotichey's face hardens, "is here."He points a finger at the Wicked Coast and hands the book back to the gnome. "Yes, lets try to find a way out of here...after I locate my belongings."He moves toward the first door on the left.
As the two of you approach the doors and gently budge them open, you are met with an eerie silence.
Immotichey can see a kitchen of sorts. There are drawers and cabinets on a wooden floor, appliances are all in the off position and appear to have been used within the past day along the walls, the utensils are all tucked away in their respective containers and such as well. At the far end of the room sits a freshly prepared meal resting on a shining silver plate. The smell is calming and delightful.. Really delightful, causing anyone who takes in the scent to forget their troubles. Like a sailor to a siren, it beckons anyone in front of the entrance inward to the room.
I will need a Wisdom save from Immotichey to resist the wafting fumes that beckon him inside.
Krimple nudges the door to the second room open with his staff. The door creaks and the musty smell from inside seeps into the hallway, blowing wisps of dust. Inside is a dark storeroom filled with dusty chests some of which, but not all, appear to have locks. A few chests even have bits of cloth hanging out from the lids. Among the containers in the room, there are a few tarnished decorative mirrors hung sparingly around the stone walls.
Immotichey, in his weak recovering state, sees the delicious looking food at the other end of the room and finds it impossible to resist, he steps inward, it's fumes pulling him deeper and deeper inside. Upon reaching the far wall, reaching forward into the food, your claw-like hand seemingly melds into it's form and flows through it as if it were air eventually pressing onto the silver plate. The meal glimmers and then in a blink of an eye, winks out of existence. Shaking yourself of the illusion, there is a brief moment of uncertainty. You feel a faint rumbling.
It is then that you can hear the chattering of dishes clanking together, smell fresh ingredients behind you and see the light of the stove send an orange glow across the wooden floorboards of the room. Turning around, you see the kitchen has began to animate as if it had a mind of it's own. The stove spits flames upward to pots and pans as they levitate across the room, resting on it's top. Knives and cleavers begin floating back and forth, slicing and dicing ingredients on their own. Plates chatter as they make their way from the cupboards onto tables in anticipation for the food. What was once a calm dark kitchen, is now a mad house of floating instruments and ingredients. The initial thought of escape would require a bit of acrobatics to pass through without disturbing the ebb and flow of the kitchen, and not crashing any delicate pieces into the floor.
When I said appliances I was mainly speaking of a stove or furnace. Nothing electrical. :p
Discovering the poor state of this dark and musty room, Detective Krimpledimple fully opens the door to at least let the bright sunlight from the large window help illuminate it. The gnome then proceeds to clean the dusty chests, tarnished decorative mirrors, and even the stone walls with Prestidigitation before checking the contents of the unlocked boxes.

OOC: Is it just one acrobatics check to make it through?
So we're all just a cavalier bunch, just throwing doors open without so much as a quick look. Lol
Krimple enters the dusty storeroom and begins tending to it with his magic. Bits of dust swirl around in the air until eventually disappearing into small little puffs of air. As you begin to open the unlocked chests, you notice a pattern. They all seem to contain mundane gear of the same type. One is full of leggings of a wide variety, one tunics and another trunk with miscellaneous supplies like lanterns or bedrolls.
Darak cautiously opens the only door on the right side of the foyer. It looks a little fancier compared to the other two. It's heavy and sturdy build slowly turns as it reveals an enormous library several stories tall. Shelves of tomes and scrolls line the walls, dancing globes of light slowly drift around illuminating this wondrous room. Tall rolling ladders stand propped up against the walls in order to reach the upper most levels, as well as a platform two stories above branching off from a similar door to the one you just entered. There is an overwhelming sense of something, but it doesn't feel quite like danger.
Sorry, yes. Just one check in order to make it through cautiously if that is what you would like to do.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Immotichey continues to stand watching the implements and food dance through the air, feeling a bit foolish to have fallen for such a trap. Staying put, so as not to get near any of the flying knives or cooking vessels, he beings to look around for anything that might deactivate the spell.
Immotichey looks around the room for any means to deactivate the animated kitchen, but comes up short. It isn't much longer until Detective Krimple rushes back with information about the storeroom. As Krimple poke his head through the door to relay the information to his new comrade, he is met with the comical view of utter chaos as the kitchen, and all it's elements, have sprung to life leaving a confused Lizardfolk at the opposite end staring back. To the best of your knowledge, a command word would be the best bet, but in what language, you aren't even sure.

"I'll check the other door then."
The gnome walks towards the second left door as he pushes his quarterstaff against it to open and take a good look inside.

"Immotichy might have his items in one of these unlocked chests. Better ask him and check to make sure."
The gnome walks to the the room where the lizardfolk went to tell him what he found.

Looking at the bizarre state the lizardfolk was in, the gnome reports his findings before moving on.
"Hey Immotichey, there are some mundane items at the other left room. There are also some locked chests.
It seems to be you're occupied right now so I'll move along and help Darak search the room on the right for the meantime."
"Uhhh, wait..." Immotichey says before the gnome disappears. "Could you slide me a shield, if there is one in the other room?"
"Well, from what I saw back there were mostly varying sizes of leggings, tunics, and mundane gears such as lanterns and bedrolls.
Still, there are some locked chests but I don't have the keys and the strength to forcibly open them.
I'll take another look, maybe I just missed a shield or two buried under the unlocked chest's contents."
